That way the message would have that of total rejection. But Nigerians will probably scramble for as many as they can get, take them home and decorate their houses with the useless flasks. |

Chipink: This oyibos know that they are being scammed and they still follow these boys.
But how do these guys do this, because I can't just understand. The women are very lonely and in need of attention. Nigerian men can be sweet talkers giving all the attention the women need. I watched a documentary where a yahoo boy was caught. A few months later, the woman was crying because she missed her scammer. Her family were very upset with her, but the yahoo guy made her feel desirable. They know how to press the right emotional buttons. |

In as much as I disagree with her lifestyle, I can tell you that you’re absolutely wrong when it comes to a guy taking her to mama. Have you not heard that the good girls are usually the ones to end up as old maids? Some guys might see her as a conquest they have won and marry her. Just like some girls want to tame bad boys. Other guys will say all girls do the same. She is simply candid and still marry her. Plus the girls you call farm tools are experienced in men and relationships and will get whatever they desire: even marriage. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Is It A Sin For Women To Wear Trousers? by sweetrace(f): 10:38am On Feb 17, 2019 |
I don’t really understand why Christians make an issue out of nothing. What I have come to understand from reading the Bible is actions should be judged based on intentions. That is why we often leave judgement to God as it is difficult to know the true intentions of others. People should dress attractively. But if one dresses with the intent to seduce, then there lies the problem. People who condemn ladies wearing trousers I believe are myopic. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Is It A Sin For Women To Wear Trousers? by sweetrace(f): 10:31am On Feb 17, 2019 |
Abex20: It's not a surprise many of u have not found out d truth, very few of us tried to scrutinise the religion we inherited from our parents, not to talk of checking to see the d other religion. Its a pity many of u still see the bible as a holy book, for me God is a perfect God there for its not possible to find contradiction in his words. The biggest problem Christians have is that they don't study d quran, the quran remains the only book that had stood the test of time. Now the Islamic view on this topic
“And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what must ordinarily appear therof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, or their brothers' sons or their sisters' sons, or their women or the servants whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex, and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O you Believers, turn you all together towards Allah, that you may attain Bliss.” (Quran 24:31). So, Christians should search the Koran for biblical answers. If you don’t have wisdom, the Bible enjoins you to ask and you’ll be given freely. With wisdom, please ask for understanding as well. |

Kailalomo: Very sure you did not read what the OP posted.. Too bad!! I read every word the op wrote. To sum it up for you; the student accused the lecturer of enabling exam malpractice. This is an insult to the lecturer as it questions her integrity. The lecturer told the student it is her mother. The student stuck up her middle fingers at the lecturer. Capiche? |
Education › Re: Unilag Diploma Student Says “Bleep You” To Her Lecturer by sweetrace(f): 10:41pm On Feb 16, 2019 |
uuzba: The lecture is old or is young is not the point of the issue. The girl accused the lecturer of exam malpractice. Stop bringing this African respect to simple case of cheating. The girl has seen the lecturer as unjust and is accusing her for her offence. It is left for the lecture to dispute the claim. Respect for authority is universal. If she is sure the lecturer is involved in exam malpractice, will confronting her change it? Is there no due process? She has no brains and no couth. She may think she is standing up for herself, but this not the way to go about it. I actually think she’s watched too much TV where if one gets offended, they stick up their middle finger. What she doesn’t know is that in real life, she’ll be sent to the principal’s office or detention in high school. As for college, she can’t even try that. Professors are like mini gods. |

Education › Re: Outrageous School Fees Paid By Church Universities In Nigeria by sweetrace(f): 5:28pm On Feb 16, 2019 |
Alexk2: As much as i have huge love and respect for some men of God, i just can't place why they're involved in building tertiary schools when they can't make it affordable for their members and nigerians at large...it become worrisome to know that this institutions are build by "contributions/donations" from their members. I strongly believe there are viable options to hleping to build our educational systems that'll make it affordable to all instead of giving us the excuse of "cost of maintaining higher institution is expensive"
How about each church adopting a public institution, contribute toward her infrastructural and educational development while also monitoring seeing to the welfare of their members in such institution. How about giving out scorlarship to brilliant members to study in our good public institution while also supporting the not so brilliant once. ...busary awards to less privileged members as well as monitoring their progress... e.t.c.. While you have raised some solid points, I believe one of the main reasons the church had to get involved in education is because of the values they can inculcate in the students. These schools are supposed to be free from cult activities, runs girls .... if the state and federal owned universities were being run properly, these schools will be unnecessary. Just to get a transcript from some of them is like hitting a brick wall that empties out ones bank account. |

Your god considered you such a special being it made you with 99% similarity in DNA with the Chimps and also gave them the same emotions you think makes you special. How's that for special? Shame you? Nope! I was just telling you to go right ahead and believe what you chose to, and I will believe what I know is true. As for that your 99%, we both know that lie is a very clear one. |

LordReed: ALL these things are a result of natural processes. Apes of all sorts express compassion, familial love, passion, rage and other emotions even embarking on coordinated warfare. We humans are not as special as we like to think. How about if we look at it this way. I am the creation of a loving God who is still very active in my life. And based on your hypothesis, your a descendant of apes. I hope that pretty much sums it for you. |

Durentt: God doesn't exist, he's in fact both hoax and sham, it's rather extremely ridiculous to see people believing the idea of this non-existent toy character who has his eye on over 7.5 billions of people AT ONCE. Terrific! The universe came into existence 13.8 billion years by a Big Bang exploding and forming of the Helium and Hydrogen element, be wise. It is extremely ridiculous to look at oneself and believe that they are the result of helium and hydrogen. That their ability to show compassion, passion, rage, nonchalance, hate, love are as a result of the Big Bang theory. That their intellect and creativity is as a result of the ... maybe the evolution of monkeys. |
