I was watching one documentary yesterday about Putin where they interviewed his Goddaughter, former ministers, PR man, former president of Georgia, Garry Kasparov even Mikhail Khodorkovsky.

At one point in the Putin regime , 8 russian oligarchs alone were responsible for 45% of Russia's GDP. Putin decided to come after, and extort them all

The man literally arranged all the oligarchs in a hall and gave them the playbook. The man was demanding $200 million in bribes from Khodorkovsky and when that one tried to accuse the state of corruption on live TV, Putin also on live TV started to list all the crimes the man had committed. The thing funny die.

Within 2 weeks Khodorkovsky, Russia's richest man at the time, would be arrested and sent to jail for 10 years.

Putin literally was quoted as saying "There will be no more Oligarchs". Na why so many of them either comply or Japa, with the amount of assets and funds stashed abroad by oligarchs, estimated to be the same value of the total amount of money in Russia.
