Bro, abeg help me ask Swissh which club later sign Neymar
Neymar never wanted to leave Psg. Barca and Madrid were fighting to sign him but he rejected both. grin Now Psg has the 2nd deadliest strike force in Europe.

lol...was that the only thing you noticed. Well I noticed he gave long passes to our attackers and helped transition defence to attack quickly. To me tho, he wasn't so bad, aside his rash penalty.
Xhaka should be ashamed of himself. He doesn’t offer enough to continue to be such a weakpoint for us. The occasional diagonal long ball does not make up for the blunders, concentration lapses, or his agility of a planet
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Swissh: 11:06pm On Sep 01, 2019
We were excellent and would have been really unlucky not to get anything out of the game. Our front three were constantly creating something and Pepe in particular always looks like every skill or pass he tries, he seems to pull it off. Ceballos too had a really bright shift. Whatever our defensive frailties are, all around we are a good attacking side.
I hate Tottenham they are yet to show anything this season. Unimaginitive in posession and lacking focus in defence. They have this really annoying habit of grabbing points when their performance suggests otherwise. Chelsea and United are both useless not even scared of them. United under Ole don't know how they want to play clueless club clueless manager and Chelsea is just a club filled with teenagers and a championship manager at best

At the very least 3rd/4th is attainable for us.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Swissh: 11:00pm On Sep 01, 2019
Guendouzi MOTM for me, full of energy and hunger with good positive passing (when sensible) and always wanted to get on the ball.

Xhaka conversely was the worst player; Over zealous in everything he attempts. why do you need Xhaka when Luis does the exact same thing, i.e foolish defending, clumsy tackling and the occasional 50 yard pass.

aside from the penalty which was very very foolish, I think he had a pretty fine game. The penalty cost us points quite alright, but he really played well b4 and after the error. Same as sokratis.
The most impressive thing Xhaka did was avoiding a yellow until the 92nd minute.

Emery needs to give Pepe more freedom to roam around. He is so dangerous with the ball at his feet, even deeper and in more central locations.
Having him sitting on the wing waiting for through balls is a waste. The more he roams the more we pull Tottenham apart and it creates space and chances for everyone else.

Our central defenders na basket make we no lie. That combination of Sok and Luiz na disaster waiting to happen.
Sokratis is good lol, our defensive problems have nothing to do with him.
90% of it is either stupid mistakes by other players or poor defensive positioning by our midfield.

Excellent control by Laca and what about the power? I am shocked it did not rip the net.

Pepe with the assist.
A little more power and the ball would've gone through the net and decapitate some supporters

Imagine laca coming to collect ball from midfield
Lacazette needed to do a whole lot of individual work for that 1 (excellent) goal. Imagine what he could do with apt inter-play and setup

Yes, I'm disputing that, using the World Cup as a yard stick. Despite a lack of injury, His attitude and shenanigans tarnished his performances and reputation.
Are you high on weed?

Neymar went to the world cup after 3 to 4 months of not playing football due to injury he sustained in February that year.

listen, we're on the same book but different pages. Below was my initial post.

You can see that I believe he is talented, however, his attitude and off field shenanigans is costing him his career, not just the injuries.

Do you think that it's because of injuries, he's desperate to go back to Barça?
Good and I said Neymar has already been brilliant for Psg only people who don't watch Psg Matches will disagree and if not for injuries holding him back he would have done more. Are you disputing that?

Mbappe is seen as a rising star in the game, at a very young age, he is leading one of the big teams in the world, he has won multiple trophies, more than many of his age mates, and more importantly, his career has been devoid of controversies, no rape allegation or court cases or punching of fans, just a quiet meteoric rise.
What has mbappe done at Psg?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Swissh: 2:43pm On Sep 01, 2019
donjazet:
Young man, are you mentally stable??

Neymar is a player who 4 years ago was judged the 3rd best player in the world, directly behind Messi and Ronaldo much to the chagrin of his critics who believe that his success was simply down to Messi's pure brilliance.

His critics and fans alike saw his move to a big and rich club as PSG as an opportunity to show that he could be a leader and behemoth in his own rights and prove his status in world football.
But that move has been a failure for him, with all the controversies accrued there since his move to Paris.

So for you to make that remark is unnecessarily arrogant.
Why did Messi brilliance not bring out the best in dembele and countinho? One was shipped to Bayern and the other was almost traded to bring neymar back.

4 yes ago? Did I not post comment here from la liga president and Sergio Ramos saying with Neymar qualities he is definitely top 3 in the world despite recurring injuries they know what he can offer when fit. The only thing holding neymar back is injury
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Swissh: 2:36pm On Sep 01, 2019
donjazet:
He wasn't having these long injuries before his move, however to underpin his failure to only injuries is very subtle, what about the other numerous controversies both on field and off field since the move?

From suing Barcelona to court, to the problem with Brazilian FA 2 years ago, to the last World Cup where he cemented his reputation as a diver, to the recent rape allegation and his current ongoing feud with PSG, all these had nothing to do with injuries.

His career at PSG has been a total disaster. From being the third best player in the world to not even making the top 10 is a very drastic and dramatic fall from grace.
Your 2nd paragraph is so irrelevant so I wouldn't bother to waste my time on it . Best playing ranking that Placed Messi as 5th best last season and you think anyone take that ranking Seriously? Cook up something tangible if with over 50goals and 30assist in less than 70games is a disaster then God help us. Now let me ask you has mbappe career at Psg been a disaster?

His career at PSG has been a disaster to say the least. At this very moment, even his country has been relatively successful without him. It's clear his career has been slowly winding down at PSG.
Yes with over 50goals and over 30assist. What a disaster. The only thing slowing neymar down is injury nothing else you don't know what you saying. But the so called french de Lima ronaldo who only stat pad against french farmers and bottles champions league matches against united b team has been a success. Let's blame the guy who was injured and give free pass to the idiots who bottled a lead.

we leave in a world where the majority decide a lot. (or individuals who control the majority)

u guys do know that if 1000 people are asked who deserves the uefa men's best player award. The winner will still be the player will be the most votes.

simple more relevant people think VVD deserved the award. fewer disagree but it doesn't matter.
Oga majority vote/opinion is not fact or necessaryly accurate. Messi was voted as 5th best player last year do you agree with that?
