I did my Biometrics on the 2nd of July(priority), yesterday(9th of July) was the 5th working days but I have not received any mail.

I tracked the application and it's still showing " application received by DMC"

Please has anyone experienced this before?

You'd have to relax, e go still come out. Some of us experienced the delay

This shouldn't apply to African or Middle Eastearn countries

Yes but most countries with cheaper flights fare are on the red list. So prepare to pay 1750pounds before leaving

Will one need a transit visa if you are taking Royal air moroc?

Air Maroc wouldn't but then it is not even affordable. British Airways rate is even better especially Abuja to Heathrow

This is so true, I think my blood pressure was high all through. So my application was standard and was due on the 25th of june (friday). I ended up getting my Visa after 6 extra days which was yesterday. Those six days was hell. So give them till today or monday.

I left the money in my account till visa came out.
I had to travel to the next town when DHL wan to start wasting time again.

I also did my Biometrics on June 4th, but got the non-straightforward mail on the 15th working day. Its really frustrating having to wait indefinitely.

Finally, I collected my passport with the Visa in it this afternoon!!!

Immigration History - Dubai Residence Visa (twice) which I declared

No visa interview

So grateful to all contributors on this group (@optimally, @justwise, @scobyy2007 and the gurus in the house for sharing their advice and experiences.

My advice: Priority is most advised because this standard visa waiting time dy rise BP.

You can head to their office anytime from now because from experience, collection mail drops few hours from movement to VAC. Congratulations.

Hello bro, any news I have gotten collection mail since 29thbbut waiting for DHL to deliver my passport... So have u seen any mail? Since those that did on 7th and 9thbhave seen there own.

I was about to chat you up now. My application was just transferred to VAC today. If I get the collection mail today, I will be heading there to collect my passport myself since I am in Abuja.

I can imagine how you must be feeling and the thoughts going through your mind, take solace in the fact that even priority applicant are still waiting for collection mail, I believe the issue is with UKVI, they must have their plates full, this is unlike them not to keep to processing time, but be rest assured that we all will remember this day and time be thanks for how it turned out

You are not alone I did biometric on June 3rd still yet no show. Sleeping and concentrating on anything is difficult as one will be checking mail and TLS every minutes.

It's been an intense , emotional and mentally draining journey but I give God all the Glory.

That’s the same thing I am experiencing.. I seriously wish I had done priority, I chose standard because I felt it was too early and no need to rush since collecting mail takes just 15 working days.. Now application still shows received by DMC since 7th of June.

I applied for my visa on the 1st of june (Standard application) and biometrics was done on the 4th of june, it has passed 15 working days and I am yet to recieve and mail from TLS or UKVI, please what could this mean? It is now 25days since my application was submitted, I tracked it and it is still showing received by DMC. I am about going mad here, please help @justwise @optimally
