We had a golden chance to score Liverpool at Anfield and your boy decided to run himself into a tight corner with Henderson and another defender when Cavani was free, begging for the ball.

In the last EPL game before today (vs West Brom, is it?) Rashford had a chance to equalize a few minutes after we went behind in the 2nd minute. The ball was in front of him and he only had the keeper to beat. Instead of hitting it one time, your guy froze for a second, decided to take it to his left, form a dribble and then lose it.

What about the last Europa league game against Sociedad? He lost 2 good chances before converting the one Fred left on a platter of gold for him.

This last one isn’t about his schoolboy errors, it’s about the chances he’s missed.

But see him score a goal today and you think all those schoolboy errors are inconsequential? If they didn’t cost us today, it doesn’t mean they haven’t in the past or wont in the future.

Rashford is one of the most senior players at United. He’s been playing for the first team before the Maguires, Bissakas and Brunos arrived. He should be leading the way, yet he’s the one making making wrong decisions all over the pitch.

This is not about today, it’s about the matches he’s been playing this season.

And it’s not an agenda like you’re saying. I just want him to be more consistent and mature on the ball. It’s like asking Bruno to be patient before hitting some passes. It’s not an agenda, we just want him to get better. Cos watching Rashford make those errors is really irritating and annoying.

Other top players lose good chances but they don’t make those schoolboy errors, or that often.

Yes Rashford makes bad decisions sometimes but he will surely get better with experience.

If you observe, Rashford has steadily improved his game facet by facet. There was a time we complained that Rashford was all speed and no brains. He was almost like Daniel James in the sense that he needed space to operate. Overtime he improved his dribbling and close control in tight spaces. Now the part he needs to work on are his decision making and the fact that sometimes he doesn’t know when to stop dribbling. He will surely be better.

Criticizing him is not bad, but when criticizing him, remember that the boy is part of the trio that are currently carrying one of the biggest clubs in Europe on their shoulders.

Compare Rashford to the best forwards in Europe and you will see clearly that he is currently one of the best.
