Celebrities / Paul Okoye Spotted Working On New Song Alone In The Studio (photo) by SylvesterRichie(m): 1:02am On Oct 05, 2017
Paul Okoye of Psquare has been sighted working in the studio alone…When brothers feud, no one wins ultimately, and this is presently the case of twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye who have battled back and forth for weeks.

He caption the photo;

‘Moving on to the next one …#onestepatatime ?king Rudy’

Surprisingly, the duo have not kept their family affairs private, hence, the public has continued to lash at them driving each to defend himself with tales from the past especially on who worked and who did not during their fame as Psquare.

In a recent interview, Peter Okoye laments hotly how deeply painful it is to have been regarded as ‘just a dancer’ when in the real sense he was the creative person behind the Psquare fame. He claims to have being the one making sure the group was well structured. “I do a lot of creative work and it hurts that people perceive me only as a dancer” he however assures us that he is ready to put all his creative abilities into his solo career henceforth!

Meanwhile his twin brother has continued to rage on on Twitter assuring his fans that he is coming out big “same music, same tune, same voice, you won’t miss a thing” ‘thing’ in this context could mean Peter Okoye who has left the group.

Celebrities / “I Don’t Think Men And Women Are Equal, The Man Is The Head” – Tiwa Savage by SylvesterRichie(m): 12:53am On Oct 05, 2017
Speaking on the Midday show on The Beat 99.9FM with OAP Toolz, superstar singer Tiwa Savage has said that she and Tee Billz “are doing what they are doing privately and it should remain private” as a response to Toolz’s question on whether they are back together.

Speaking on gender discrimination in the society, she said:

It’s real. I’m not going to say I’m completely comfortable with it but it is what it is. You have to deal with it. If it means you have to work 10 times harder than your male counterparts, don’t complain about it, do what you have to do. We all celebrate people like Oprah and Mo Abudu and we don’t actually realise what they have to do to get to that point. They probably had to do 20 times than their male counterparts. Once you get there, you don’t complain about how you get there. So, whatever it is you have to do as a female, you just have to get it done.

I know I’ll (ruffle) a few feathers but I also don’t think men and women are equal, I don’t think that’s how God created us that way… especially in the household anyway. So I think as females when we realise that yeah we can be strong in our career, but when we are home we have to realise that the man is the head of the house.

She said the day she’ll never forget was the day she had her soon after a 22-hour labour, adding that she has a lot of scars on her body to remind her.

She said she’s embracing her stretch marks, adding that if she were not in the entertainment industry, she wouldn’t have tried to lose weight. She said she has a pouch and she isn’t going to do surgery to get rid of it.

She added that she has plans for her stretch marks, which is to paint them in different colours.

She lamented that women are being seen as wrong when issues arise in relationships whether they are right or wrong.

See the other things she said as penned by Toolz:

She came to the interview with no entourage, she even did her own make-up herself, before arriving; cutting costs.

She does not have any extra cast doing her make-up and all. When the camera goes off, it’s just her and her son. No extras around…

She is working on a song with Coldplay and he was very interested in African dances

The structure of the industry abroad is different, she can record a song and it’s out the next day, on the internet, in Africa. But in the international market, it could take up to a year or two for the song to get out

She doesn’t want her son to feel pressured to do music because that’s what she’s doing and he’s a little shy. If he’s dancing and he catches you watching him, he’d stop.

She’d love for her son to be a ball player (basketball or soccer), so he can buy her a retirement home…

Her most embarrassing day is the first day she had to perform at an event in Eko Hotel and her back zip broke and exposed her back/behind.
If she were a guy, she would get away with a lot more. If she were a male artist, she wouldn’t have as much flack

Celebrities / Davido Vs Wizkid – 8 Strong Reasons Why We Think Davido Is Better Than Wizkid by SylvesterRichie(m): 7:32am On Oct 04, 2017
Hi Guys,

This is another “Davido vs Wizkid” post  We know some of you will like this and some won’t, but all the same, we’re doing our Job

Lets get down to business. No long story!

The ‘war’ between the two kings Davido and Wizkid would probably last till the end of their careers.

The competition between both acts has divided the pop music base in Nigeria with half repping The Baddest, and the other half holding it down for Wizzy.

Today, to mark the Baddest Instagram 5 Millions follower milestone we are giving 8 reasons why we think is better than Wizkid.

1. Davido Obviously Has More Money

When it comes to the money war, Davido is holds the bigger gun. Being the son of a multi-millionaire makes him a very rich individual based off his future inheritance.

Before the release of his first album, he moved into a mansion. Wizkid rented a house in Lekki after considerable success after his first album was released.

Davido’s money count is just too much for Wizzy to match. Let’s not forget that Davido is making good money off music too.

2. Davido Created A Dance

Davido gave the world the Skelewu dance that caught on like fire. Wizkid hasn’t created a dance of his own.

The closest he got was hopping the Azonto dance. Baddest created a movement with Skelewu.

3. Davido Has More Presence In Africa

In the motherland, Davido has a firm grip. He was able to achieve this by touring the continent extensively within the last two years.

While he was doing this, Wizkid preferred to solidify his fan base in England. Yes, Wizkid has been to a few African countries this year, but Davido has been there before him.

4. Davido has had two major hits this year alone

Davido’s “If” & “Fall” Has been topping musical chart since they were released, and its unarguably the biggest two songs in Nigeria.

But Wizkid hasn’t had any major hit for a while, you might be thinking Daddy nko? but then we know how we judge major hits in Naija though.

5. Has Been His Boss Since Day One

For four years Wizkid was under the EME set-up controlled by Banky W. He got a bit of independence when he created Star Boy in 2013.

Davido has been his own boss since day one. He created the HKN label in conjunction with his big brother. Davido has never had to answer to anyone.

. He has a more compassionate heart and he is into a lot of unannounced charity work

This is a crystal clear attitude we all know davido possessed in bulk, unlike Wizkid. I’m so sure if we are all asked who can you ask of help and be 50% sure that he might probably help us, we all we choose Davido over wizkid.

I think we all remembered what davido did for the little boy below, and many other philanthropist duty the  baddest has pulled on.

7. He has more social media followers

Davido is unarguably the most popular Nigerian artist on the social network. With the baddest just reaching 5 Million followers on instagram and wizkid just struggled to pass 4 Million followers.

Though Wizkid has more twitters followers, but consider the differences between the margin davido’s IG followers elapse that of Wizkid. Do the maths.

8.  Has more artistes in his stable

Davido has not only pushed himself this year, but has also pushed all artiste under his label into limelight, with each having atleast one or  more hit single.

Davido has alot of artistes under his management and guess what they are all doing so well.

A wise man once said, success is not only measured by what you’ve achieved yourself, but with what other people have achieved through you.

If this is the yardstick for measuring success, then we can authoritatively say Davido is more successful than Wizkid.

We thought his unclad self was supposed to be for only his Premium Snapchat subscribers but it’s doesn’t look like it after the effeminate took to his IG page to share and unclad photo of his butt.

Apparently in a bid to advertise, he asked people to buy his bleaching cream in order to make people become as fresh as he is and added that his fans can add him on his premium Snap to get a full nude of himself.
He wrote:

Celebrities / I’m The Second Best Selling Artiste After Wizkid – Mr Eazi by SylvesterRichie(m): 10:49pm On Jul 18, 2017
Fast rising singer, Mr Eazi has come out to brag that he is the best-selling artiste in West Africa, second to his boss of course, Wizkid.

Eazi, in a recent interview with a Ghanaian radio station said; ‘I don’t mean to brag but in the past one year in West Africa, I’ve been the second bestselling artiste on Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Tidal … the second best next to Wizkid.’

Eazi has been in the news lately, recall that he opened up on his relationship with Wizkid and the Star Boy brand claiming that he is not signed to the label but rather, he is a business associate.

Does this mean that he has sold more records in the last one year than other Nigerian A-list artiste?

Celebrities / MUST READ: How Wizkid Used ‘tweets’ To Boost Album Sales For #SFTOS by SylvesterRichie(m): 1:43pm On Jul 18, 2017
From raunchy tweets to shades, from shades to inspirational posts; Wizkid has kept the posts coming on his various social media platforms. It seems like he has no plan to stop, no matter whose toe he steps or who his shots are falling on. So long, hundreds of thousands of his fans are showing appreciation by retweeting, liking and commenting. From the numbers seen on his timeline, it is clear that a lot of fans find these posts engaging and entertaining.

Unfortunately sometimes one man’s win, is another man’s loss. In this case, Wizkid’s growing influence on social media is turning on the heat on Davido. While the temperature was still melting ice, another superstar in person of Alhaji Tekno, acted like a toddler whose puerility led him to play with the burning fire and this time, Wizkid spat raw fire. It now seems the more they come, the more Wizkid raises the temperature.
While it might not be possible to determine Wizkid’s share of support in his battles, on the many grounds, it is however undeniable that the lashing out has kept him in the public glare day in-day out. It appears that Wizkid gives out a piece per time and each piece, forms the headline story. Little wonder why in recent times, Wizkid has been in the day-to-day news.

I know he is a global star and his street credibility is not from here, but even with that, we get to hear and talk about other artistes, but lately, it seems to be all about Wizkid. Now, fans are refreshing their Twitter pages to find the next Wizkid post, and if you observe, the topic on the pages of almost every media outlet is centered around the Star Boy.

One can conclude that Wizkid’s social media charge has done wonders to his public visibility. Now, Wizkid is standing with the tallest posture, metaphorically. He is the most talked about artiste, probably the most engaging on social media, because of this, a lot fans cannot give their attention to anything else other Wizkid. In fact, some have forgotten that our president is nowhere to be found, because Wizkid is giving them a new thing to muse about on each day.

But I cannot help notice that Wizkid’s new line of action seems to have aligned in sync with the release of his latest music project, Sounds From The Other Side. The PR agenda set the right mood for the album sale and has succeeded in getting the rapt attention of fans, with many of them already drooling about the newly released project. This singular feat has drawn Wizkid further more into the spotlight and will keep him in the central focus of the media for a while. After laying groundwork for the project’s release, Wizkid’s SFTOS is now certain to be a commercial success, clearly because his celebrated outspokenness on social media of late has plenty to do with the wide reception that will ultimately tie into massive album sales.
