I love sharing reasons to love maxi dresses! My closet is stuffed to the brim with maxi dresses and skirts and I’m always on the hunt for new styles of maxis and different ways to wear them. Right now I think I own nearly every pattern and color in the rainbow! Please keep on reading to learn my reasons to love maxi dresses! 1. MAXIMUM COMFORT One of my top reasons to love maxi dresses is because they are so very comfortable! Jeans can be a bit stiff or tight, but maxis are always loose, comfy, and just right for any occasion. The only thing more comfy than a maxi is yoga pants and a tee! continue here http://thetailorsdairy..com.ng/2016/03/why-you-should-own-seamplysylvia-maxi.html

The Futility of Fame and Fortune 'Where do I put my hope? ... in You.' Psalm 39:7 NLT Society’s fascination with Hollywood and celebrities has gone a little crazy. Wait- make that very crazy. Millions idolise those who have achieved fame and fortune, yet stardom does not provide the satisfaction it advertises. Marilyn Monroe could have told us that. So could Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson. Consider the adoration accorded to Muhammed Ali in his prime. He was known as ‘the prize fighter who couldn’t be beaten’. His picture appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated more than any other athlete in history. Wherever he went the cameras followed. But wealth and fame cannot buy good health, and he fell victim to the ravages of Parkinson’s disease. Sportswriter Gary Smith spent some time with the ailing fighter at his home and asked to see his trophy room. Ali escorted him to a dark, damp barn beside his house. There, leaning against a wall was a board displaying mementoes—photos of the ‘Thrilla in Manila’, pictures of Ali dancing and punching, and hoisting championship belts he had won over his head. But the pictures were smeared with white streaks caused by pigeons that had made their home in the rafters. Ali picked up the board and turned it around, face to the wall. Then as he started to leave, Smith heard him mumble, ‘I had the whole world, and it wasn’t nuthin’. Look at me now.’ The psalmist wrote, ‘All our busy rushing ends in nothing. We heap up wealth, not knowing who will spend it. And so, Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in You.’ (Psalm 39:6–7 NLT). So where does your own focus lie? I have seen lots of looks with the hijab but nothing beats this one. Most of us thought hijabs were uncomfortable and not stylish but we thought wrong. Thanks to this Arabian princess that has shown that the hijab isn’t a barrier. She has proved that one can still look very stylish and stay covered up. This Arabian Princess who goes by the name @mrmr___4 on Instagram is a beautiful sight to behold with a pretty face, gorgeous body and a style game that is up there. Her name is April Star and she is 10 years old and Star is a model. She was diagnosed with the skin condition called Vitiligo when she was six years old. Star’s skin started to change and kids at school would make fun of her and she was always sad. Her role models are her mom, big sister and model, Winnie Harlow, who also has vitiligo and with them Star learned to embrace her skin and has grown to love it. These graphic images of a badly beaten transgender prisoner have sparked outrage across Brazil after it was said police officers 'pulverized' her face, forced her to strip and shaved her head. 25-year-old Veronica Bolina was arrested on Sunday (12 April) for assaulting an elderly women in her apartment building in São Paulo and put in a male prison. For reasons not yet clear, the model got into a fight with a police officer during a cell transfer and bit off half his ear. Disturbing pictures circulating on Brazilian social media show her with cuffs on her hands and feet, head shaved, breasts exposed and face disfigured from the battering she received from several officers. The incident has caused outrage among Brazilian LGBTI activists and supporters, who accuse the officers of transphobia. Brazil is reportedly the most dangerous place on Earth to be transgender. Last year, 113 trans people were murdered in the country, half of all reported trans murders in the world. you can find the graphic/nude photos here, i can't get banned. http://www.360nobs.com/2015/04/graphic-pics-of-transgender-woman-stripped-shaved-in-brazil-spark-outrage/

If you’ve been through The Z Files in the past, I’m sure you may have noticed that I have a thing for shoes. Although I belong to the big feet club – size 42 and super proud – I still love putting my best foot forward! I often drive by The Best Foot Forward store as it’s located in the heart of Ikoyi, but I never really had time to explore it and today I finally did just that! I have an obsession with beautiful stores, and this store had me sold right from the entrance. I felt like a kid in a candy store and feasted my eyes on all I could. I finally began trying on any and every thing in a size 42 (they had a boat load thankfully!). http://www.stylevitae.com/the-z-files-zina-her-best-foot-forward/
