Which ID? Naija passport or Brp?

Try starling bank. It's similar
I used my Nigerian passport as the ID. If I try starling, wont I get the same response?

Hello gurus in the house,

I just moved to the UK and still isolating yet to move to my accomodation, I tried opening an account with monzo using the app but unfortunately after verification of my ID, I got the attached picture. What could be the reason and possible solution to this because I just moved here. Please help@mimilyrics, justwise or anybody that can help

TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by Symbae: 3:58am On Oct 07, 2020

I will try to break it down as much as I can. I hope it helps.

You can only open Monzo and Starling accounts once you're in the UK because you'll need a UK phone number and address.

Transfer wise is an app that you can use to transfer money across different countries. If you don't download a VPN app / service (VPN - Virtual Private Network - allows you to use IPs that mask your location and shows IPs from other countries making it seem like you're in a different country), the Transfer Wise app will automatically select your location as UK (for example) and you'll only be able to transfer from the UK to other countries and not the other way round because of your IP address.

Dorm account is your $£€ account in Nigeria. You can usually transfer to foreign accounts via online banking or by sending an instruction to your bank or account manager to do this. This will be subject to any restrictions that your bank has in place.

BDC is Bureau De Change aka black market sometimes. They usually take your Naira while they transfer the £ equivalent to your UK account.

But if the above still seem complicated, just carry cash on you and open an online account that you can pay your money into as soon as you arrive and sort your phone number and address. You can always open account(s) with a brick and mortar bank after you get your BRP and are settled.

All you needed was a bit of digging. Find below all you need and a link to a broader wealth of information.
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/tuberculosis-test-for-a-uk-visa-clinics-in-nigeria/tuberculosis-testing-in-nigeria
Well I have already done the digging before asking. Those numbers are not going through neither are they replying my email. The online booking link is not working too

Because, I am to book ticket on the 2nd of September to fly through Cotonou route. As our government are not reliable. Please I need answer ASAP. If someone that has passed through can give me the road map.. And the challenges he or she experience.
Yes, their updated guideline states you must do the covid test before using their airport. I don't know anyone that has passed through recently to confirm

thank you for your reply,I guess I should write ielts first then look for an employer to employ me or should I get employed first before writing ielts? Please I need your reply on this..I just want to know which should come first.
You can get an employer then write ielts. Getting the required score for ielts shouldn't be difficult as it's a band score of 4. I stand to be corrected

How do I get COS..I really don’t want to use an agent cos most of them are scam..Please any useful information anyone has on this will be appreciated..if there’s a Whatsapp group for this type of Visa..I want to join too..I really need help on how to get started.Thank you all so much
First get a job, your employer will offer you a COS. Yes you need IELTS to apply for a tier2 Visa

Just to update you guys.... Got a call from TLS to come pickup my passport. I collected it yesterday with the replacement vignette valid for 3 months.
Timeline: Submitted Aug 5th in Abuja.

Wish you guys the very best.
Great news. Was yours for replacement vignette? Also did you receive any email from visashefo for submit passport within 21days? Was your visa validity dates extended? I apologize for the many questions
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Symbae: 11:06pm On Aug 26, 2020

You know some people got mail from visashefo to submit passport within 21days that they're now in the position to issue the 90days vignette. For me I didnt receive any, so lets wait and see by nextweek

its not easy o, mine is 11th March. its getting crazier and frustrating.
My guess is that you have probably joined the replacement vignette queue. Maybe your vignette got expired during lockdown and it has to be replaced

, I submitted my family passports(visas) on the 29th of July, 2020 for vignette extension . Till date, I've not gotten any information as to if the Vignettes extension has been granted as today's is the 20th working day(or 28 calender days ). No information yet. It's so worrisome.
Same here, has anyone received their new vignette yet?

Hello guys,

I stays in Enugu. Is it possible for me to do my TB test medical and Biometric the same week? If so how can I do it? because traveling from enugu to Lagos just for only medical is waste of transport fare.
Option1: Self service- Go to lagos, do your TB test then submit application and upload documents, book appointment. This might not be feasible because you might not get an appointment same week due to the current situation unless you do walk-in if that is available

0ption2: Assisted self service- Submit your application and book biometrics then go to lagos for TB test. On your biometrics day, they will help you upload your documents at a cost of about 11k.

Two COS can be assigned the same time FROM EXPERIENCE.
from my experience, I had to cancel one.My employer contacted me to do so because my name already popped up with an already issued COS. He/she can google the guidelines for assigning a COS anyway

I want to ask some questions guys.

Someone who has certificate of sponsorship assigned on 1st of August which expires on 2nd of November that's 3months duration b4 it expires.

Is it possible for someone to make use of that CoS to apply for Visa on October 29th, 30th or 31st. Or is the CoS still valid to apply for visa ending of October.

2nd: Questions. Can one assigned two Cos from different employer at the same time. Or can one have another CoS assigned from different employer at d same time before the previous CoS expires. **employer is NHS**.
1. Your assigned COS has to be valid until you have attended your biometrics,if it has expired after that, you might be contacted by eco

2. An individual cannot be assigned 2 COS at a time, one must be cancelled before another can be assigned or you wait after the 3 months of expiration to apply for another one if your initial employer refuses to cancel the COS issued

Hello all, i just got a refusal letter via email. The letter had my name but the reasons for denial were strange to me and not related to me. i applied for a visit visa to see my pregnant fiance, but letter stated i applied for private medical treatment, second it said my sponsor is my daughter which is wrong i'm only expecting my first child. the account number in the letter does not belong to and i am not sick in any way. the later stated that i am retired which is completely wrong.
Has anyone experienced this issue before?
i contacted them via a paid email on the UK immigration website and also TLS as i believe there must have been a mixup somewhere.
i went for Biometrics on the 4th of August, in Abuja
i would love opinions on this. thank you all
I guess it's obviously not meant for you. UKVI has been mixing up emails since they resumed after the lockdown. A friend of mine got email for replacement vignette while she never applied for one. As you have contacted them, they will reply you within 2 working days

Good morning,
I did my biometrics on the 13th of March and yet to get any email from TLS. i just tracked my application but its still on transferred to the DMC .
Should i just go to the center or wait to get an email from them.
For those that already collected their passports, did you get an email?
Kindly advise. Thank you
I think you should contact the ukvi to find out if a decision has been made on your application before contacting the TLS
