I've been processing how this lightly armed guys are able to burn down supposedly well defended locations. Seeing the low casualties on the defending side, it is reasonable to assume that the buildings are being set on fire from a stand off distance with molotov cocktails and other crude incendiary bombs. It will even be wise to send the would be defenders into panic by setting the buildings they are inside on fire and also distracting them just before the attack.
If these buildings had fire extinguishers, sand buckets and water reels like any reasonable buildings should have, many of them will still be in use today.

All the past governors of whole federation+ the present ones are not interested in wealth creation that's why we still have large populace of unemployment and underpaid workers.

Every year people dey retire from civil service instead of him to control mode of recruitment,he just wake up and start sending people home. for example gas tax, when you fill up your car, you get charged tax, that money can be used for roads etc, toll gates, among other things.
Like right here in New York, when i pay my monthly gas bill, i see MTA tax, mta is our transit system, now why on earth is that on my gas bill, but it is, because those fools are running out of money to maintain the transit system.
So there are targeted areas they could focus on and get tax money, then direct that towards operating a more professional police force.
Tax laws should be strictly enforced in that country, over here when you get a letter from the IRS, you are about to wet yourself lol. they take their tax money even if you buy a pencil, because that money is Crucial to America's survival. One thing we haven't learned.
Here we pay local, federal and state taxes every single time we get our paychecks. naija could do the same. enforce those tax laws, make sure everyone that runs a business register such business and disclose their profits/losses etc, make low interest rate loans available to businesses, deduct social security payment from those paychecks every time you get paid, that money will then be there for you when you retire and don't have to rely on your children to feed you.
you will see billions come in. strict enforcement will do it, under that reform or restructuring.

I still have many citation to give why state police will not work under this present settings with many fighting groups showing their strength. Are you aware that the recent killing that claimed 30+ lives in benue state is not cause by Fulani bandits rather it's from their home grown militants ( gana boys) operating at kastina ala side.
