EseFUF: Make sure you check the expiry date for your PAL so you can apply for your visa before the expiration date. If you have built you bank account up to 4 months you can start your visa application . The date I'm seeing on the PAL is July 21. I want to know if I'm to start medicals and visa app and how much the both will cost? |

Viewoliver: Wowooo 💃💃💃💃 Congratulations Bro, I also got LOA for the Welding Engineering Technician Co-op at CNA because it was my secondary program. A week ago, I got LOA on Power Engineering Technology which was my primary program. Fees paid, offer accepted, and request for PAL submitted. Now waiting for PAL to be issued so that I can proceed to study permit application. I pray we all make it to CNA.... Amen What's up bro, Can we relate privately? |

technix: In my opinion, the challenge here is not even the MSc, but your undergrad. Doing power engr tech after a BSc in elect/elect does not show a progression in studies. Most of what you will learn during a power engr tech would have been learnt during your BSc (even more so, with power systems option).
That being said, it's easier to justify doing a diploma after your MSc in control systems. For example, you could claim you want to apply control systems theory to power systems modelling; and before modelling any system, one needs to sufficiently understand how it works. You can then link that back to our power systems challenges in Nigeria, grid instability, controlling smart grids, etc.
Once again, the main hurdle I see here is your previous BSc. Try and see if the diploma would bring you significantly different knowledge (I would advise against mentioning practical skills as the main reason) . Best of luck! Kai... Wahala. I think my application is somehow like Oliver's own. I studied mechanical engineering BSC but has already gotten LOA to study Welding Engineering Technician Co-op at CNA. I just got the LOA two days ago and was already given a deadline to pay 5k cad before the 20th of this month or will lose my admission seat. |

Wonder1844: With my 3.78/5 University of Calgary is telling me that it's Second Class Upper division or 4/5. I don't know if they will hold on to 4/5.
So PGD is the only likely admission with 2.2. I will go for pgd then. Thanks for the advice |

evansky: It will be very difficult. Just go for PDG then 1 year masters. You will get your 3 yrs PGWP What of someone with 2.7/5 GP, that wants to apply for industrial/mechanical engineering MSc? Any chance of getting admission to any of the universities? |

Obiaja: When next I pass Ochanja, I will snap the prototype of the project. From Ochanja Roundabout to Main Market is a single lane. I will have to see what they are going to do from Ochanja to IzuChukwu Park. God keep us all alive. The prototype is different from what they're doing. |

Bestmanfornow: You're ignorant on the project just wait demolition will start soon the are waiting for the contractor handling Port Harcourt road to round up for people to have easy access, if the start the whole place will be blocked, the road will be dualize to Down-flyover, the contractor handling the project is ZCC that is handling Solution fun city Awka I was there yesterday It's a single lane just as the guy said it. Unless they are going to use concrete pavement to demarcate the road after construction. |

Cocolatti: No he's been picked because of the cash they splash on him There's no need for him to start every arsenal when better people than him are sitting on the bench. He's poor at both defense and attacking. His passes are even poor. |

Havertz is not the right one for Arsenal now. Not now that Arteta is still doing experimentation. I will even pick Smith Rowe ahead of him currently but I believe he's been picked for each match because of his performance in training. |

maiunguwar: Total collapse as in how?Was Obiano the only person that has govern Anambra before? Was the road there before Obiano came and bulldoze them?We must all agree that governance is not all about building roads alone.Obiano came with his own style of governance and have left the stage.let soludo tar all the roads in Anambra Yes, most of the roads collapse under Obiano and he did only patching on some while he left others. I just corrected the guy because he was blaming Soludo for bad roads and praising the Culprit which is Obiano. You can blame Soludo to some limits but you cannot be blaming him and praising his predecessor for our current state of the road. Soludo deserves to be scored on roads only after his four years. |
Politics › Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by TabletMan: 11:24pm On Aug 19, 2023 |
Armon: Let me ask? So with this you have said he should go to sleep? And not build roads?
So you are now comparing Obiano with Soludo… we’ll support mediocrity all you want ..everybody knows Obianos first few months are way more better and promising than Soludo… I never said Soludo should go and sleep but you can't be praising Obiano and tackling Soludo whereas it was Obiano that saw the total collapse of roads in our main cities. |
Politics › Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by TabletMan: 4:32pm On Aug 19, 2023 |
Armon: .
The same with willie Obiano who did so well, now Soludo is littering excuses every where … about rain… is rain not falling in Aba..there is more rain fail in Aba than in Anambra.
Soludo economic part way for Anambra is still not clear So all the bad roads in Anambra started spoiling yesterday? Obiano is the reason why we have tons of bad roads in Anambra and not Soludo. Just name 5 Roads started and completed by Obiano in Onitsha during his 8 years. |

doyin01: A country that imports almost everything including toothpick..how will their currency stay fundamentally strong ?? The Naija government is not ready to fix the problem...they should fix the root of the problem...trying to defend the naira artificially is not the solution..doing that might only work temporarily but the naira will still get weaker in the long run. I don't know why we blame everything on the importation of goods as if we produce nothing. Nigeria gets adequate Fx from Oil, Gas, and Agriculture but our only problem is the hunger for Foreign investment by our politicians and highly placed civil servants. It will be hard for you to see any former governor in Nigeria without a house abroad even their kids have houses and companies abroad. What of senators or reps members? Deputy governors and House of Assembly members? Even MDs of the government agencies. All these people are equally looking for $$$ and they import nothing. None of the above-mentioned people even have kids schooling in Nigeria and their kids abroad don't work but depend on the stipends from Naija that come in $$$. We import and we also equally export so you won't blame importation. When oil output increases and you couldn't see the effect on the exchange rate just know that the people in charge have equally squandered the $$$ and not because our rate of import increases. |
