Ukraine are losing bayraktar but not as much as Russia MoD lied that they lost in snake island. Bayraktar is armed drone and not DJI Mavic drone.
Most of air and equipment losses Ukraine has in the past two weeks is from Donbass and no evidence that they've lost drone or aircraft not even landing boat in snake island.
I know you must have seen Ukrainian pilot that was killed which has been circulating in Russians telegram channels that the pilot was killed in snake island, but the real fact is that the pilot was killed in air combat in Russian controlled territory in Donbass. There is limited supply of missile for that bayraktar so you will not be seeing much of the action but you want me to believe that Ukes lost 14 just within 24hrs on indefensible Island.
Maybe I will aswell believe that Ukes shot down Russia plane with paratroopers inside during the first week of war , Since both claims have no pictorial evidence

Ukraine don't have what it takes to defend or keep the island but Russia MoD is trying to lie his way out just because they've lost so much AD system in that island and they're trying to cover up just like they did in Libya and Armenia where Russia MoD has to personally lie that some AD was not active when the bayraktar blew it off .

Russian stealth fighters have not been deployed to Ukraine because there is no Ukrainian air force left and sending them without a major air threat will see the US acquire much needed radar signals on them to be cracked .

The current air support deployed by Russians are concentrated on mostly ground support and taking out Ukrainian choppers and drones. Even the Russian missile systems are more than capable to deal with whatever air threat the Ukrainians still have.

Just last week , Russian missile system took out 27 Ukrainian choppers and over 30 drones in the battle for Snake Island.

With hypersonic missiles, Russian stealth fighters don't even need to operate within Ukraine as their missile range and speed can reach any target in near real time over Ukraine.

And I believe that Russia controls the snake island, so where is the pictorial evidence of the drone that got shot down?

When you say someone import parts for machinery/equipments is not when you import raw materials, the so called rare materials that doesn't have name is not only find in China and can easily be gotten from somewhere else with same.
USA have a good business relationship with China that's why they are still business allies no matter their difference. China import 60% of US soya beans which they can easily buy from Africa or south America at a cheaper rate but they choose USA even at the height of trade war with them.

Saying that USA imports parts for f-35 from China means that China produces specific parts for them and can easily sanction the company producing it.

Below are parts of bayraktar drone which is a Turkish company and various parts for the drone gotten from other countries though Canada might stop selling wescam for them any time soon so they're developing their homemade.

When people refer to Canon Fodder they mean cheap expendable infantry. Not all infantry units are treated equally in situations like this.

The old Colonial Powers often used there colonial troops in such a way. I believe even in the early 2000s there was a fallout between Italian and Nigerian peacekeepers in Sudan or Somalia where the former tried to use the latter in a similar way to canon fodder.

But Canon fodders usually made up the infantry troops who are to work with artillery men, Tanks and other heavy equipments.

Russian army contracts end traditionally in April and many Russian contract soldiers deployed to Ukraine will not renew their contracts and drop out. Since there is no mobilization announced the RU MOD can not fill (officially) those gabs with conscript soldiers.
