So it's Ok for Governors of the East to ask progressive Igbo Men and Women to return to the east just becouse they pay visit to Lagos or all Hausas doing well in the East to come back to the north becouse their Governors visited the east. In this global village where everywhere can be be home to anyone economically... shame on those abussing Buhari on this topic. MizMyColi: GEJ neither built power plants, maybe.
But there were reforms, which have resulted in the Discos you see today.
I'm well aware too that billions of Naira have been pumped into this issue of power generation.
I read this thread and I feel an insult to my sensibilities.
When Barcanista created his thread on this matter, I did not comment directly on the topic. I had my reasons. I felt that the man Buhari needs more time, despite the huff and puff he employed during the campaign period, however, Barca was on point.
But to see a thread claiming some hogwash unrivalled success? Dyamn, you guys just know how to force a person's fingers even when they don't feel like it. Don't you? Hmmm..... Are you following him @emboldened?? Who built most of the thermal gas plants then?? |

PassingShot: The figure actually represents a decline over the previous year. So, nothing to celebrate here as it's evident that we regressed instead of improving. And it waz around $600m or so in 2010 when GEJ entered, so there was a significant net improvement over the period. But then again @$2bn for non-oil exports for a whole country like Nigeria is a joke. Shows we are not yet even close to be there. Although the improvement is a positive if we consider it movement and if we continued to move in that direction, only faster hopefully. |

Buhari has been such a disappointment so far, even for his most ardent supporters who are still sane.
Assuming this was what you wanted to do, while say it out openly. There is now no way any past admin would be successfully probed again. Any probe from this admin would now be seen as a witch hunt against GEJ and the people of the South-south. Anybody who thinks Nigeria would not unravel after that is such a DUNCE. I reali SMDH for Nigeria. Tis so unfortunate we have a Buncha arrogant, unthinking bigots in the helm of affairs.
PS: I just recently read that Buhari said that his admin largesse would not get to those "regions who gave him 5% of their votes" in the last elections!!! Meaning the SS and SE...... Which sane Nigerian leader makes such a statement OPENLY?? |
