Politics / Re: House Orders PRESSID Stopped Due To Abscence Of Northerners On List by taharqa: 8:36am On Apr 24, 2015 |
SLIDEwaxie: Who exactly is favoring their side here ?? The majority of last year winners are Yorubas from the SW, your own region. And no person from Bayelsa won last year. I guess GEJ wanted to favour Yorubas and disfavor his own Ijaw people in Bayelsa. If you have a 1st class relatively recently from a Nigerian University, you are less than 30 yrs old, and have completed your NYSC, you are eligible to apply for the PRESSID scholarship. Every single one of them (they are usually an average of 600) then writes a test, and then ONLY the top 109 candidates in that exams are selected STRICTLY ON MERIT. That was why Ogun and SW had the highest No of beneficiaries while Bayelsa, and most of the NW and NE had none or very little. But people like you still complain cos your lazy and indolent 'masters' are complaining too. Why am I even surprised?? Didn't your Lord Buhari get into the Military on the strength of his Principal' recommendation cos he was Hausa-Fulani when others from the other parts of the country had to present their WASSCE results?? Even when he eventually presented the result and failed Maths, wasn't he made an Official, rose to the top in that institution and was just elected again to the very top by people like you?? Yet you chaps are the 1st to complain about the condition of Nigeria. Bladdi HYPOCRITES!!! 9 Likes 1 Share |

I wish Buhari well as he presides over Nigeria. I still do not trust him much nor has my complete DISDAIN for his party abated, but he cannot afford to fail. If he fails, Nigeria fails for 4 years. So he is wished well. Mat God grant him wisdom and strength to do only what us right for this country, in spite of himself and the many wolves around him 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Buhari's Social Program: Very Possible. by taharqa: 12:20am On Apr 20, 2015 |
OAM4J: 1st, that figure you gave is mostly crude lost due to productions shutdown, not actual theft (only around 60,000bpd is actually stolen). But even if we were able to bring all these 450,000bpd to full production, there is NO WAY in helll we would be able to get 'hundreds of billions of dollars' like you claimed, talk less of the FG making that kind of money. The whole of Nigeria( And I mean d FG, states, LGA, 13% derivation, Excess crude, etc) does not even get more than bw $60-$80billion per annum from sales of the over 2million bpd crude that we currently make even at over $100pb talk less of these days when crude sell at less than $60 in the international market. You were wrong, guy 4 Likes |

OAM4J: Reali?? So 450000bpd crude sales, notwithstanding the Cost of production and profit sharing bw Nigeria and the Oil Companies and bw the tiers of Govt, can generate hundreds of billions of dollars?? How deep in your Azzzzes do you guys have to go to generate this amazing figures sef?? And you too na MOD 7 Likes |

Obiagelli: Obiagelli o, for Goodness sake, accept your huge errors and bow out gracefully. Your initial OP was a complete mess. Am sure you know that by now cos you are a smart gurl. You would have noticed that most of us have been somewhat cautious in responding to you on this thread, in spite of the glaring errors in the OP. That cos you are considered about the sanest APC supporter here on NL. Don't overstretch that welcome, biko. Do the graceful thing... |
