The eye is a very powerful tool of communication and expression. It can be used to pass different messages to anyone at any point in time, from time of childhood, to adolescents to adulthood and even during times of formal interview.
My concern here is looking into the eye of the opposite sex, ladies especially; how can it be managed or controlled.
For example, I have had to blink my eyes and entirely change the direction of my look after a steady eye to eye contact with my female boss, some married friends etc.

Hello fellow nairalanders! I 've always found this forum useful in getting information and seeking advice. Thanks to everyone.

I 've plans to get a good car but I observed that I have passion for mercedes benz products preferably V-boot. I know it's an old car and toyota products are the happening things now.
People complain that benz cars consume a lot of fuel and cannot withstand hold ups (starts overheating), I also observed some people in my neigbourhood who successfully manage their benz cars.
Pls, sincere advice needed.

I am a young healty man in my early thirties, 2 yrs older than my wife, married for 4yrs now and with two kids(girl).
I have a job and I am presently running my masters prog.Sincerely, I married my not because she met my standard,(she is poor academically bc of her background but intelligent. She has passion to learn but has a very weak foundatn)but bc I met her a virgin when compared to other girls around me then, and bc she was of help to me at some point when I was in dire need. I met her an undergraduate in one of d state universities but cannot even correctly read a paragrah in a daily newspaper.
Since I realised her weakness, I made it a point of duty toalways teach her the basics, and also corrects her regulary so that she can improve. Our kids are doing well bc of the impact of thier school.
The problem now os that since my wife cannot cope with her academics (has a lot of references), and I cannot invest in it aswell bc I insist she mist get d basics, I tried to get a shop 4 her(sells wears) and equipped it to a reasonable extent, assuring her that as time goes on she will enlarge her business.
But, rathet than appreciate all my efforts, she envies me a lot, complains bitterly abt her educatn, discontented no matter what u give her even when she does not expect, nags a lot wc is frustrating and always trying to compete & compare herself with me e.g. she wants to have d no of jackets I ve though she is a business woman. Complaons when I get anything 4 mysrlf even though I tried myself as a man to please her but never satisfied, always complaint.
As I speak to u I had to leave her alone and sleep in a separate rm bc I cany cope with her complains.
Pls, matured minds, I need sincere advice. I ve tried several times to speak to her but that will only last 4 max 2wks.

I m married wt issues and as much as possible I try to play my role: provide for the family, send d kids to sch and at least make d family comfortable wt my reasonable income.
But, my wife is very unappreciative of all my sacrifices, nags so much, and gets me upsets always. In fact she had d audacity to tell me that I am not capable to be a man : insulting my person and I told her that she is a bastard if she remained in my house wtout looking 4 her match after slapping her 2ce (for the 1st time ever) I feel fed up of the whole thing

Yes, Ifyalways, as much as possible I own up when I am wrong. She is possesive in the sense that I find her just interested in material things and does not cherish her marriage. For instance, if I go hunger strike bc of her attitude, she doesn't even care. She later eats up the food which I abandon

I am a regular member of this forum and I ve gained so much from people's contributions.
I need advice on issues concerning my marriage. I had a xtian marriage and
have always tried as much as possible to obey the advice given to us during our counselling and at the church never to at any time assault or barter my wife despite all her provocative and nagging actions.
We have been married for two and half years now and I have discovered that the lifespan of our frienship at home is allways very short say 2 or 3 days after which we will have issues for another week or two. she finds it difficult to appologise and submit as a wife. I have complained tirelessly to her people all to no avail. More often that not she gives me psychological problem. sometimes I make mistakes when I drive , lose concentratn at work etc. I find her very possesive and when I cast my mind to when we were courting she has changed completely. People advise me not to share my marrital problem but I tell u it can lead to hypertention or even early death.
