Villagers and authorities in Southeast Sulawesi province found the python, as they were searching for the missing lady. News website detik.com reported that they only found her belongings and suspected that the snake might have swallowed her. Some months ago, a missing Indonesian man was also found inside a massive python on the island of Sulawesi, according to local authorities and news reports. Villagers found the body of Akbar Salubiro, 25, after cutting open a 23-foot-long. While searching for the man villagers found the python and suspected that it might have eaten Salubiro. Villagers found one of Salubiro’s boots, his harvesting tool and palm fruit at the site, In the video posted, people gathered around as the snake’s skin is pulled back, revealing an intact body laying on its side. Reticulated pythons typically eat small to medium-sized mammals and squeeze their prey to death before swallowing it whole, according AP. Attacks on humans are extremely rare. Before you start hating on Chimaamanda, you have to hate on yourself first. Must you side the woman because she attacked CNA? Okay, check this out... - She said that female genital mutilation is predominant in Nigeria, how many people still practice that today? How did she confirm it? - Must it be Adichie that will attack the female genital mutilation? Can't you do that or is your only life on NL? When will you get small sense to know that someone else is speaking her opinion and you are entitled to yours? Seriously the hate is getting out of hand and she is going higher. The more you hate, the more she meets presidents! From a loyal fan... |

He said this when he played host to the delegation of residents in Abuja led by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mohammed Bello who paid him Sallah homage in his official residence, Presidential Villa, Abuja. Buhari explained further that he was working hard for the collective interest of the country and that enough had been invested into the country to ensure it remained one entity. He said, “I am very pleased that we are working very hard collectively as Nigerians and that God in his infinite mercy who knows what is in the heart and not by mouth, will continue to guide us so that we accommodate each other at all times. This country is blessed on human and material resources.” He also said that he started and completed the Ramadan fast despite the apprehension in some quarters as a result of his health condition. “What we realized between 1999-2013 as I have always said we have never realized it. It is on record that we were producing 2.2 million barrels per day on the average, at the cost of $100 per barrel. “It went up to $143 per barrel and then I think it stabilized between $80 and $90, Nigeria has never received so much money and we thank God that we have survived the crisis in no time. “It is amazing that we are here because we tried four times, we ended up three times at the Supreme Court and it is no joke. I have suffered for this constituency just like I suffered in the Military. “ I walked from the northern border to the sea virtually on foot, because every culvert and bridge were blown up, so we had to walk and carry our luggage. “I think we have invested so much in this country and we will continue to pray that we stay together and let us develop the necessary confidence, work together as a people, this country is great. Let us work together so that we can save a lot more and exploit more of the resources that were abandoned so many years ago. “I am very grateful to the ministers and church leadership that came to say happy Eid-Filtri to those of us that have been fasting. A lot of people asked me not to fast on health grounds I can default I refused because I know the value in fasting, I cannot miss it once I can do it. “Last year, I didn’t (fast) because I was on health vacation but this year I have done it and I thank God because it has helped me to be much more healthier to give me the time that I need to attend to national issues. “Please in your constituencies; emphasize what I said about 30 years ago, we don’t have another country except Nigeria. We may as well remain here and salvage it together, there is nothing else we can do. Even those that had gone out are now trying to come back because they are not wanted out there. “I wish all the resources they had, they had deployed it here, it would have been much better. So thank you very much and please try to persuade your constituencies to work much harder away from individualism and sectionalism.” Source: http://www.reporter247.org/2018/06/i-have-suffered-president-buhari.html

@TheReporter247 Fayose said this at an interactive conference convened by a Pan Yoruba Socio-cultural group, Yoruba Ko’ya, in Ado Ekiti on Thursday with the theme, “Protecting Yoruba Land.” He added that the conference would also discuss the management options of the Fulani herdsmen and farmers’ crisis, among others. At the event, Fayose called on all the Yoruba irrespective of their political interest and religion to unite to resist the invasion of the Yoruba land by external forces. He said, “Let me say very expressly that resistance is not easy but only the courageous win. I was at Ibadan restructuring crusade organised by Afenifere in September 2017, all that I said there, I have no apology for them. “Yoruba people should be allowed to be in right places. I want to appeal to our people that this is a collective struggle. If you say you cannot defend yourself, someone wants to cut you,…you want to wait and allow people to shoot you? Even God does not appreciate cowards. “I don’t trust the police, but these people sitting are the real police; the hunters are the real police that I trust. The vigilantes are the real security; policemen are only accountable to the Inspector General of Police, not the people but the local people are the mightiest. “Let me say this that this struggle is not about Yoruba Ko’ya, it is Ekiti Ko’ya All states should go and collate figures of herdsmen and cows in their land and bring them together. “We must defend our land. Some of our leaders because of their political interest, they keep shut. I am a Nigerian, they should lock me up, I am not afraid; the power of the people is greater than those in the position of power. Those oppressing us today will be out of power one day. “This is our collective struggle, the anti-open grazing law has come to stay in Ekiti. Anyone who says we should go back to darkness will die.” Source: https://www.reporter247.org/2018/06/why-i-dont-trust-nigeria-police-fayose.html |
