Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has said that “misguided and ignorant fools” who allowed themselves to be misled by President Muhammadu Buhari, must be blamed for his insult on youths.

According to Fani-Kayode, they were warned but they refused to listen.


“It is the misguided and ignorant fools that allowed themselves to be misled by Buhari in 2015 that must take the blame for his insult on our youth.

“We warned them but they would not listen. Buhari is irresponsible and shameless: he is an incurable dullard and a sadistic beast,” he wrote on his Twitter page.

Buhari, speaking at the Commonwealth Business Forum in Westminster on Wednesday, said youths prefer to do nothing because they feel Nigeria is an oil-rich nation .

According to Buhari, a lot of Nigerian youths had not been to school, yet they want everything free.

Social media is agog with criticism and counter-criticism of Joy Oyedepo, one of the daughters of popular Nigerian preacher, David Oyedepo, over the video of a ‘miracle’ she performed on Facebook.

In the clip, Joy can be seen ordering each one of her arms to grow longer.

She has since deleted the video which went viral, after he followers called it ‘fake’

One Facebook user with the name Terry Adido wrote: “Don’t you know that Winners Chapel is a family business registered in their names? The kids have to start practicing to take over from their parents”.

Another called Tito Kinder said: “A fool at 10. Birds of the same feather. Arrant fraudulent nonsense”.

The Senator representing Delta Central district in the National Assembly, Ovie Omo-Agege, has reacted to the invasion of the Senate Chambers by suspected hoodlums.

Reporter247 earlier reported that the Senate Chamber was invaded earlier today by some persons who made away with the mace. Shortly after the mace was stolen, the Senate accused Senator Ovie Omo-Agege of sending thugs to steal the mace.

The Senator in his reaction, however, denied involvement in the theft of the mace.

A statement signed by his lawyer, Lucky Ajokperniovo, said that he only went to the Red Chamber on Wednesday, April 18 to resume work and sit for plenary, adding that he was only invited by the police to speak on his perspective and has been released.

The statement reads: “We are aware of several media reports suggesting that Senator Omo-Agege personally removed or encouraged anyone to remove the Mace of the Senate. This weighty allegation is not true at all.

“Following the said media reports on the Mace issue, the Police authorities decided to hear from Senator Omo-Agege. He has told the Police his perspective to help them carry out a proper investigation. He has since left the Police. Senator Omo-Agege trusts them to thoroughly investigate this very serious matter.”

Omo-Agege also reacted to the statement by the Senate Spokesperson, Senator Abdullahi Sabi accusing him of leading the hoodlums to cart away the mace.

“Without any investigation, Senator Sabi willfully, deliberately and unfairly made very serious allegations against Senator Omo-Agege on the Mace incident.

“We are carefully studying Senator Sabi’s allegations to ascertain their full ramifications. Appropriate responses will follow, as may be necessary,” he said.

There's something bothering me, and it's about our Nigerian youths. Seriously, why do our youths like scamming, and tagging themselves cheap scammers at such? I'm just wondering though.

Immediately, he switched off his phone for one whole week because of $10, broke his sim card, stayed out of Facebook for a whole week and later blocked me. I'm now wondering, why will a 22 year old young man be scamming?

And I intend taking this post to other forums. I have his account details, phone number, picture and even more and he still scammed me some cheap $10? $10 that I get from just one 600 words article I write? I can't even accept a $10 sponsored post on any of my blogs.
I think these cheap scammers are generally poor, or maybe laziness, or it's genetic or something else, I don't really know. All I know is that it's too bad of our youths.
We need to change. A black spot on our name can never be cleaned.

A shocking case of 'revenge rape' involving 12 members of two families has been unearthed by police.

A man had been accused of raping a woman in Pir Mahal in the Toba Tek Singh district, Punjab province of Pakistan on March 20.

Local news reports that the suspect's family had approached the victim's family for 'pardon and reconciliation'.

The victim's family agreed to pardon the rapist, on the condition that 'her brother would commit the same act with the suspect’s sister', dawn.com reports.

A dozen people attending a meeting between the two families agreed to the terms, and the brother subsequently had sex with the suspect's sister on March 21.
A police officer found out about the case when the two families prepared legal documents agreeing not to press charges against each other.

Pir Mahal Police Sub-Inspector Shaukat Ali Javed saw the and reported the families to his superiors.

All 12 people in attendance , including four women, of which one was the victim of the second rape, were arrested on Saturday.

The case has echoes another incident in the southern city of Multan last July, where a village council ordered a 'revenge rape' on a 16-year-old girl.

The girl's brother had sexually assaulted a 12-year-old, and the 'revenge rape' was reportedly carried out in front of her parents and 40 members of the village council.

In a shocking incident, a gambling addict put his wife and two children on stake, and lost all three.

Mohsin, based in India’s Bulandshahr was dumped by his wife after she learnt that he had gambled away their child.

According to the Times of India, the case happened in 2015 but only came to light this week after police finally agreed to investigate.

Imran, the man who won, went to Mohsin’s house and forced his wife to come with him. When the wife protested and screamed, the village panchayat was called.

The members of the panchayat - or village council - decided that one of the kids should be given to the winner.

Following the orders of panchayat, the winner took away one child.

The entire episode infuriated the wife so much that she decided to divorce Mohsin. She reportedly filed a police complaint against him and five other men.

The wife got married to Mohsin in 2012 and gave birth to two sons later.

After divorcing Mohsin, the woman married a Chandorh based youth.

In the past two years, the woman went from pillar to post but no one offered to help her.

Frustrated, she filed a petition in CJM court. Acting on her petition, the court yesterday ordered police to register a case against the accused.

The matter is now under investigation and police has set up a team to trace the absconding accused.
