KADUNA – Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai yesterday went into an outburst when some critics faults his political appointments so far describing it as lopsided. El-Rufai who visibly lost his temper while answering questions from stakeholders at the 4th town hall meeting with Kaduna Central, otherwise known as zone 2, said he could not give appointment to persons that did not vote for him during the last governorship election, adding that anyone that was unhappy about it could go commit suicide. Recall that El Rufai has been criticized for severely for appointing his close friends, including none indigenes of Kaduna state, and also his family members into plump positions in the state. The criticism became a barrage last week with the nomination of his cousin, Hadiza Shamsudeen, as the Minister from Kaduna state. His words: “If you are not happy with appointments made, you can go and climb Kufena mountain, fall and die. “It was what you voted that you got, because we are aware that there are people who did not vote for us, in fact they worked against us. “But now they claim to be APC members and loyal to the party. We know such people. And so there is no way they would expect anything from us. Earlier, Governor El-Rufai also unveiled new logo for the state saying henceforth the state will now use its own court of arms. “As a reflection of our confidence in the future of Kaduna State, we are today unveiling a new State Logo. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/10/el-rufai-to-critics-go-and-die-if-youre-not-happy-over-my-appointees/ |
Oscar Pistorius will be released from prison on Tuesday and moved to house arrest, just one year after he was convicted of shooting and killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. A lawyer for Steenkamp’s family confirmed the news but it’s clear, they’re understandably. “Nothing will bring Reeva back,” the Steenkamp attorney said. “[Her parents] are not surprised at all by this announcement. They expected this.” The South African olympian — aka Blade Runner — was convicted of culpable homicide for shooting Steenkamp in his home in South Africa on Valentine’s Day in 2013. Pistorius claimed he mistook her for an intruder. Oscar was sentenced to 5 years in prison but a South African parole board has greenlit the move to allow him to go to house arrest, reportedly a common procedure out there. What’s upsetting to Pistorius detractors is, he’s expected to serve the rest of sentence at his uncle’s mansion outside Pretoria. Doesn’t exactly sound like justice. http://www.inflexwetrust.com/2015/10/15/sports-oscar-pistorius-aka-blade-runner-will-be-released-from-prison-after-serving-1-year-for-killing-gf/?wt=5 |
The owner of the Nevada brothel where Lamar Odom collapsed has been pretty chatty since the incident and he has a message for the NBA star’s estranged wife Khloé Kardashian: Go to hell. Dennis Hof said he received a call from the reality TV star’s publicist Wednesday asking him to keep his mouth shut after Odom was found unconscious and frothing at the mouth at Hof’s Love Ranch Vegas a day earlier. “They asked me not to talk to the media,” the chatty 69-year-old bordello owner told the Daily News. “I told her to pass on a message: Go to hell.” Kardashian rushed to Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center in Las Vegas, where Odom remained on life support Wednesday, to be by his side. “If she really cared about this man, he wouldn’t be at my place with my girls,” Hof said. Odom and Kardashian split in 2013 after being married for six years. They had finalized their divorce this past July, but the judge had not yet signed the documents – leaving the estranged couple still legally wed. sandraokosun:useless boy you have come again to exhibit your stupiditý abi ? What's your business if people decide to appreciate the works of their governor |
I'm surprised by Orikinla's posting of this article considering his antecedents but I'm not surprised by Buhari's behavior and that's also taking into cognizance of his antecedents. |
When you hear someone wants to overthrow a govt with just seven guns then you know either the man is mad for having such audacity or the govt is mad for telling such outrageous lies |
One of Buhari’s spokesmen has revealed a hidden plot by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to accuse Colonel Sambo Dasuki (Rtd) of staging a coup against the government of President Muhammadu Buhari. “We agreed we were going to run a story announcing that the National Security Adviser at that time, Mr. Sambo Dasuki, was staging a second coup d’etat against Muhammadu Buhari,” Mr. Garba Shehu revealed at The Red Media Summit in Lagos, Thursday, October 15, 2015. Speaking on behalf of the President at the summit, Shehu, who is Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and publicity said that there was a “deployment of state forces” against him during the March elections, but that he won “against all odds”. (Photo Credit: AP/Sunday Alamba) “Muhammadu Buhari’s goodwill greetings to you is on account of the fact that he won an election that many people think he was not going to win,” he remarked as he bemoaned the cost of media lamented not being funded enough to pay for advert placements on the state owned TV station, NTA and privately owned AIT. “Americans say that elections are won on the dollar. It’s very improbable that anybody can win an election without money.” “I remember on a particular night I called NTA, they had 16 slots of one minute adverts and I said I wanted to buy one minute for the Buhari campaign, they said all 16 had been sold,” he revealed. Shehu went on to tell an interesting story about how the All Progressives Congress (APC) had hatched a plan to declare that then, National Security Advisor, Dasuki was plotting a coup against Buhari’s government. Premium Times captures his confession below: Mr. Shehu expressed the presidency’s gratitude to Statecraft, an arm on The Red Media, for ”selling an unlikely candidate to a very skeptical nation.” “The day there was a security siege at my home, I woke up to see that my house had been surrounded by armed policemen in the course of the campaign,” Mr. Shehu said. “In fact it was the cocking of their guns that rose me and my family members from our sleep. Only to discover that tens of policemen, police vehicles, and some other unidentified vehicles darkened our windows around my home. “The first thing I did was to say ‘Who will help me out of this situation?’ I needed to expose what was going on, and the first man I reached was Adebola Williams of Statecraft. Adebola began to announce on Facebook and Twitter from that moment until the security elements realized that the whole world was looking at what they were doing, because I remained indoors throughout the siege. “Of course it was much later that we came to know why they had come. Even the APC Presidential Campaign was penetrated by fifth columnists, and I will make this confession, because a day before that siege we had had a meeting with the security committee at which we agreed that we were going to run a story announcing that the National Security Adviser at that time, Mr. Sambo Dasuki, was staging a second coup d’etat against Muhammadu Buhari. “The former National Security Adviser was involved in a coup that threw out Muhammadu Buhari as military president in 1984. “This time around, all the things that followed, the postponement of the election on account of this and that and a lot of the thinking of the campaign was that this was yet another coup being hatched by the National Security Adviser and we eventually discovered that this siege on our homes was to pre-empt the story.” Soon after Buhari was sworn into office, National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki’s house was raided by operatives of the DSS in July with subsequent threats of charges for treasonable felony being brought against him over $40,000, seven luxury cars, and seven rifles found in his residence. His passport was unlawfully seized by the DSS. Dasuki, who served under President Jonathan, is a retired Army colonel and crown prince of the Sokoto Sultanate. He maintains that the raid on his house is a ‘witch-hunt’ by the Buhari government. In September, Dasuki appeared before a Federal judge on charges of possessing a firearm without license. He was granted bail on self recognition. President Buhari appointed Lawal Daura, his kinsman from his hometown in Katsina on July 2, as head of the DSS after firing Ita Ekpeyong. Daura was recalled from retirement as he had retired from the service of the DSS when he reached the mandatory age of 60 according to the Civil Service rules of Nigeria. Daura has been exposed as a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and served on the security committee for Buhari’s presidential campaign. It would be recalled that there has been considerable persecution of members and perceived sympathisers of the former President Goodluck Jonathan administration by the DSS, since Daura’s appointment. Some notable victims of the said clampdown include the former Chief Security Office (CSO) of Jonathan, Gordon Obua, who was detained in solitary confinement for days. http://www.thetrentonline.com/how-we-plotted-to-accuse-nsa-dasuki-of-staging-a-coup-against-buhari-garba-shehu/?utm_content=buffere84d6&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer |

Buhari will not run for office in 2019, APC will zone presidency to the north again and the aspirant if he wins will stay in power for eight years same as PDP who has also zoned power to the north. Your Fashola ambition is a pipe dream at best |
Osinbajo should use his vast legal knowledge to advice Buhari correctly, the APC online urchins' and vuvuzelas should not lead our president astray ![]() |

The petroleum ministry will have no minister but Buhari will supervise it See twisting of English sha, as long as Buhari is "supervising" the ministry, then he's the "minister". Adeshina should stop spinning our head with big grammar while my amiable president will do well to present himself for screening at the senate instead of perpetrating an illegality ![]() |
