But the truth is that all Nigerian presidents have been involved in politics one way or the other- either during the military regime or have been governors before. so its kinda like a cycle. The only time Nigeria would get a young president is when the current generation of politicians die ( I dont mean this in a bad way).

Of the two colonial religions; Islam is the one that is causing huge destabilization in black Africa and it is safe and fashionable not to analyze or criticize islam in Africa, You do it at your own risk, but anybody can bad-mouth christianity and traditinal religion in Africa and nothing will happen. Black Africans converted to Islam are so disoriented that they believe it is the will of Allah that the Arab muslim should be in charge of the government of West-Africa (Nigeria, Mauritania, Cameroun, Northern Cote d'voir, Senegal, Sudan, Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso, etc). In Nigeria for instance Arabs of various shades i.e. Manga Arabs, Fulani Arabs, Shuwa Arabs etc (mind you there's nothing called Hausa-Fulani, Hausa is 70% pidgin Arabic that is spoken in West Africa while Swahili is pidgin Arabic that is spoken in East Africa)

Strategic posts in ECOWAS, AU, etc are largely held by muslims of various shades. Disoriented converted black christians in Nigeria always welcome any crumbs thrown at them by Muslim from the Arab emirates of Nigeria and West Africa. If you want to go to Al-Jana by express means try to analyze or discuss Islam.
