don't argue what you don't know. Have you ever been to the riverine areas in Delta eg Warriors? I've seen catfishes hatch in June grow till they get very big till around October when it gets dried and those not killed start sinking themselves in the soil

Ogbeni keep quiet... So u never heard of lungfish before abi....native to Niger Delta.it can survive by hibernating in mud for long periods of dry season n.emerge during d rainy season
I have seen catfish do same...don't know about tilapia though....
So d scenario is quite possible!!!
