Phones / Do You Think Headphones Help Us Focus Better ? by Tarivanessa(f): 5:13pm On Mar 26, 2019
Can the headphones really pick up what’s going on in your brain? Can we actually rewire our minds to pay more attention?

Unfortunately, the science says it’s not that easy. Mindset claims to use something called “neurofeedback” — the idea that you see real-time data of your brain’s activity, and then use that information to train your brain to become better at something.

In this case, attention comes to play but what are your opinions on this ?

Do you think Headphones help us focus better ?

Phones / Social Media/networking ( Pros And Cons). by Tarivanessa(f): 9:11am On Mar 05, 2019
The internet and social media provide young people with a range of benefits, and opportunities to empower themselves in a variety of ways. Young people can maintain social connections and support networks that otherwise wouldn't be possible, and can access more information than ever before.

Social networking is a relatively new advancement in technology. They are different platforms or websites that people can create personal profiles, share pictures, videos, and text updates to their friends, family, and people from all over the world. News, trends, videos, pictures, and just about anything else can go “viral” in a matter of hours, which makes you wonder, what is all of the craze about? It is very easy to get carried away with the attention and interactions you can have twenty four hours a day on websites like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, but what are the pros and cons that these social networking sites are having on our society?

The Pros of Social Networking

1. Staying Connected
The main purpose of social media is to be able to stay connected to friends and families in today’s fast paced and ever changing worlds. You are able to rekindle old friendships, share family photos, and special events in your life with just about everyone you know, at the same time.

2. Finding People With Common Interests
Social networking is also a great way to meet entirely new people. You can seek out groups that are focused towards your special interests and hobbies and connect with local people that share the same interests. Online and social media dating is almost more common than traditional dating is in today’s world.

3. Invaluable Promotional Tool
Companies, artists, and musicians can reach an impossibly large and diverse amount of people using social media sites. This allows them to promote and market themselves and their products in a way that has never been seen before.

4. Information Spreads Incredibly Fast
Breaking news and other important information can spread like wildfire on social media sites. Important things like recalls, storm information, or missing children are all communicated and taken seriously very quickly.

5. Helps To Catch And Convict Criminals
People often do not think of the consequences of what they post of these social sites. Pictures of themselves doing illegal things, or even bragging posts about crimes they have committed are all things that law enforcement use to persecute these criminals. They also use these sites to identify and solve existing cases.

There are more benefit of social media/Networking..

The Cons of Social Networking

1. Perpetuates False And Unreliable Information
Just like stated above, anything can spread to millions of people within hours or days on social media. This also, unfortunately, includes things that are false or made up. This information can cause panic and severe misinformation in society.

2. Causing Major Relationship Problems
Online social interactions with social networking have not only been starting new relationships, but ending many others. It is very simple to communicate and share pictures or plans with a person on social media and keep it completely under wraps. This new temptation has been driving wedges into people’s real life, offline relationships, often time ending them for good. Social networking puts trust to the limit.

3. Cyber Bullying Is A Growing Problem
Having access to people’s lives at all times is not always a good thing. A new trend of cyber bullying is wreaking havoc all across the world. This is especially true with young kids. They are publicly harassing one another, and posting mean or slanderous things which are broadcast-ed to the entire cyber world.

4. Used To Profile and Discriminate In The Job World
Just about everyone has a social media account the shows what they look like, the type of life that they live, and how old they are. Employers are using this to their advantages is some very unsettling ways. Jobs that are looking for a certain criteria of person, but cannot legally express these criteria, are using social media to prescreen their applicants.

5. The Addiction Is Real
One of the biggest problems with the social media craze is that people are becoming more and more addicted to using it. It is the number one time waster at work, in school, and at home. All of this has caused people to have literal withdraws from their social networks. Crazy!

6. Online interaction substitution for offline interaction. Since people are now connected all the time and you can pull up a friend's social profile with a click of your mouse or a tap of your smartphone, it's a lot easier to use online interaction as a substitute for face-to-face interaction. Some people argue that social media actually promotes antisocial human behavior.

7. Distraction and procrastination. How often do you see someone look at their phone? People get distracted by all the social apps and news and messages they receive, leading to all sorts of problems like distracted driving or the lack of gaining someone's full attention during a conversation. Browsing social media can also feed procrastination habits and become something people turn to in order to avoid certain tasks or responsibilities.

Social media is a land of new opportunity. There are countless personal and professional benefits of using social media. With a little love and care, we can start to build and shape our personal brands into an epicenter of opportunity.

Note::: Focus on using social media for all the good points outlined in this article, but be wary of falling victim to the dark side of an online interaction.
Phones / You've Got Bluetooth Issues? by Tarivanessa(f): 4:18pm On Mar 04, 2019
A large proportion of Bluetooth issues are caused by either interference or pairing errors. These are generally caused by interference from external sources like wireless devices, microwaves, satellite signals and radio waves, or by an excess of cached data in your device's Bluetooth storage unit.

To fix this problem, the first thing you should try is:
> Switching your Bluetooth off and on again. If that doesn't work,

> Try deleting your Bluetooth cache, which can be accessed from your smartphone's app settings. If you're still having trouble,

> You may need to locate the source of interference, so that you can deactivate it or take your phone away from it. If all else fails,

> Make sure that your device's 'discoverable mode' is switched on, since without it your phone will be permanently hidden from nearby Bluetooth signals.

Phones / Should I Use A Case On My Phone ? by Tarivanessa(f): 9:50am On Feb 26, 2019
Bought a new phone? Are you confused about whether I should use a case on my phone or not? Many smartphone users, like you, consider many times whether to use case on their phone or not.

Among all electronic devices, the smartphone has grown tremendously popular worldwide even beyond devices like computers or laptops.

The reason is obvious, smartphones has enough capability to handle tasks that a couple of years ago were exclusive reserves of the computer. It is like a mini computer that is easy to carry.

One can’t deny its advantages and on the other hand, disadvantage also.

Let’s explore the case benefits and disadvantages for mobile phone in detail.

Why use a case on the phone?

All the reasons to use a case on your phone are related to your its protection. With case, you can protect your phone in various situations.

1) Protection from Drop:

This is one of the primary reasons why you should use phone cases on the phone. You can’t always protect your phone from dropping.

Sometimes, you accidentally drop your phone, and in this case, your phone will be protected from damage if your phone has a case.

We can’t say that phone case can protect your cell phone entirely from broken or scratch in case of a severe drop, but yes, you can minimize the chance of its damaging after a drop.

In the market or online store, you can buy different kinds of phone cases depending on their protection level, especially for your phone model.

Moreover, no matter whether you own an Android Phone or an iPhone, you will be able to find the best case for your phone.

For any model of your phone, there will be a wide variety of phone cases to choose from. These days, you can even get the latest phone model case easily.

2) Provide a Grip:
Undoubtedly, a case provides grip for a phone, and you can handle your phone well with the case. Thus, for people with very slim phone, a phone case could prove very beneficial.

With phone case, you can comfortably hold your phone. Moreover, it also becomes also easy to find. There are some phone cases which provide a better grip.

Therefore, it depends on what kind of phone case you prefer to buy. Today, leather phone cases are in trend, and the best part of using Leather Repair kit, you can also repair your leather case instead of buying a new case.

3) Keep Resale Value:

Phone with the case is more protected as compared to the phone without a case.

When you want to resell your phone, the resale value of your depends on its usage or how much damage to your phone. More damage means less value and less damage means merely more value.

As we said earlier, you can protect your phone from damage or scratch if it has a case. Thus, you are also protecting its resale value with the case.

Moreover, you can prefer quality case rather than going to buy a cheap case for maintaining your phone resale value. With cheap case, you can currently save your money, but you may lose your phone resale value completely.

4) Long-Term Usage:

If you want to have your phone for a long duration of time then a case on your phone is the best way to increase your phone usage.

People who are buying expensive phones, should use case on their phone to protect it from damage.

Now, there are a lot of beautiful and eye-catching phone cases that can match your style. Today, most people use phone cases to give a great look to their phone along with protecting it.

Why not to use a Case on your Phone?

Now, you know phone case benefits, but it also has cons and reasons why people don’t like to use a case on their phone.

1) Case Make Phone Heavy:

The first con of using a case on your phone is that it makes your phone bulky. No doubt, it provides grip on the phone, but it also makes it difficult for some people to handle and carry in a pocket.

Especially, silicone cases provide a huge bulk to the simple phone. Moreover, some cases also destroy phone’s look.

Thus, if you are one of those people who doesn’t want to make their phone look unnatural, then phone case is not made for you.

2) Case Don’t Protect from Every Drop:

Yes, it is true that phone case can’t protect your phone from every drop. It just reduces the chances of your phone damaging.

In case of a severe fall, phone case also can’t do anything to protect your mobile phone. It is your luck when your phone doesn’t get damaged after a fall from a high height.

Thus, if you think you can protect your phone from every type of drop, then you are wrong. Phone case just protects phone better as compared to the phone without a case.

3) Case Can Overheat Phone:

Yes, it is also true that using a case has the capability of overheating your phone, which can damage your phone.

Phones / How Often Do You Use Your Stylus Pen ? by Tarivanessa(f): 12:21pm On Feb 19, 2019
There are those who whip it out almost every second in order to write down an idea, sketch something etc. Then, there are those that use it just once in a while, about 15 times in a month and finally, there are those that seem to never use it.

Which category do you fall into when it comes to the usage of stylus pen for users of phones with sylus e.g Infinix Note 5 stylus and so fought

Generally, users have no solid excuse not to use the pen. It is portable and easy to take around since it is well-fitted to the device and not to a pouch or cover.

Today, we will see which category is the highest,

those who use it often, those who use it once in a while or those who never seem to use it. grin grin

Phones / Which UI Do You Prefer...??? LIGHT Or DARK by Tarivanessa(f): 8:32am On Feb 18, 2019
Good Morning & Happy New Week

We are start this week with a some intresting conversation to know your test about the UI interface function.

Different persons with different taste. What you like in most cases wont be the same with the other person.
n terms of User interface, some persons prefer the dark UI < user interface > because they feel it reduces the light emitted by the smartphone.

Another reason could also be that dark UI preserves the battery. Sometimes it can be difficult to see clearly on dark backgrounds when outdoor.

If your opinion was a basis for the next system update UI which would you prefer...?

• Light UI

• Dark UI

Phones / Do You Unplug Your Charger When Not In Use? by Tarivanessa(f): 10:08am On Feb 12, 2019
In most instances if you are like me, you probably have a socket (or slot on an extension) that is dedicated to charging your phone.

The charger remains there and you just plug in your phone when you need to charge it.

I didn’t give it much of a thought about the habit until I recently read an interesting article on the effect unplugged chargers have on your power bill.

https://www.zdnet.com r-when-its-not-in-use/

The charger used in this case was an iPhone 1A charger.

According to the article, the charger used approx. 4.5w of power a day when left unplugged.

Fast chargers have 3A power output rating. So, using that figure, an unplugged a fast charger could potentially be using 13.5w a day if left unplugged. That equates to approx. to 405w a month or 4860w (4.7Kw) a year.

So, do you leave your charger unplugged? Let’s talk

Smartphones have really become part of our lives. We carry them everywhere, during our sad and very happy moments. With the rise of very affordable smartphones which almost do similar tasks, there has risen a major question.

What do you consider most before you buy a phone?

1. Price
2. Battery
3. Software (Operating System) and updates
4. Design and build quality
5. Cameras
6. Screen Size
7. Durability
8. Others specify in the comments
