The only advise i have for anyone here is to make sure you've secured a job before you finally move back to nigeria. I just got back from naij and the main reason i went was to see how the IT market was.
I went to see my uncle who works in the biggest telcoms company in naija and he advised me that its not so easy to get a job in nigeria unless there is something very catchy in your CV simply because there are so many technical dudes in nigeria and you'll be amazed at the amount of certificates they have, so you coming from UK have to show something different from all the naija dudes with all their certificates and experiences . . . best thing i'll advise is to be very diversed

Im not impressed with this game at all, we should be whoopin WBrom with 4 or 5 goals . . .

If lagos state govt's intentions are clean and they carry it out the business plan successfully without any fund mishandling - i.e most of the funds going into the lagos govt's pocket and the funds to be used for other state development e.g road and security, then i see no reason why this would not work

what we're saying is that you're diverting the whole thread with your negative attitude -  please tell me who does not know about the negative part of naij, personally i do not want to see it here. Why do u want to see burnt houses and dead bodies when there are over 1 million different sites online that is already focused on showing the negative side e.g CNN or BBC

i think its the same . . . its like permanent but you're only hired because of your skills and they expect u to know what they hired u for . . . i started with a 3 months contract and after that they'll look at the amount of projects remaining and they'll use this to know how long they need u for, so i got a 2 different 6 months contract and the rest has been 3 months . . . the only reason we're actually leaving is because most of the development is now done off shore (company trying to save money)
