To be honest, candidate 2 is a mess.  4 years - in and out of 5 different jobs!

School doesn't teach you what you need for industry standards.  No organisations/affliliations makes you a bad candidate for what you worth.  Candidate 1 stands higher.  You should spend at least 2 years before switching jobs.
He was a contractor with all companies i.e he was not permanent.Once the project is over it is either you get assigned a new project(contract extended) or you look for a new job.

lilvonz:
Who are the two people in question? which one get leg pass?
This na naija, the job goes to the person with the longest leg my brother. you understand what i mean. smiley wink
If you come out with 2:1 and your legs no long enough, you fit no get job. na 50:50.
LONG LEG na another qualification for naija. always include that.
Well, they r cousins so we can say the long leg stuff is the same

Can you explain a bit more about the length of contract difference.

Cos that brings to bear on the quality and type of coy me think.
A.
First job was permanent and was there for more than a yr,second job was contract

B.
First job was a junior role and short contract, and the rest of the contracts was usually 3 or 6 months contracts but mostly got extended.

They've both got solid reference from each of the company they've worked for

No 2 guy spent 4 years in 5 jobs. This means he spent less than a year on each Job. No 1 guy spent an average of 1 year per job. A lot of things will be considered here. The 4 year work experience guy may probably not be able to hold down a job. Not many employers want such people.

Again his number of years of experience will only add up if he worked for the same kind of company or related company.

So if I am an employer, I will go for the candidate A. He has two years experience with an advance degree from the UK. With an average ability, he will make up for the 3 years in a year.
Length of the contract between the two candidates was different

Hello Nairalanders,

Please i'll like you guys/ladies to please contribute to this discussion.

Which will companies in Nigeria prefer a candidate have:

Both candidates are same age, same degree(Computer and Electronics Engineering) from a very good University in UK:

1.A candidate with a 2:1 degree, Masters Degree and 2 years work experience (contracted with 2 different companies)

2.A candidate with a 2:1 degree, 4 years work experience (contracted with 5 different big companies)

But still expecting more because is like at time some girls are really on his neck, like wanting him  asking him for cash, some sending him text to send credit i mean different kinds of text, but he will still swear that he as nothing in common with them, some  will send house address for him to come and see them.
First thing you have to know is that men lie. Even the one you trust the most will look into your eyes and lie(the reason is because they know once you know the truth, its either the relationship is over or the trust in the relationship is gone)

The only thing i can advise you is to speak to him calmly, ask him if the situation was the other way round will he accept you having male friends(The answer here is NO.There is no way any guy can accept that kinda stuff from his lady)

BTW- There are different types of friends

@ steaming

1.Personally i think you should stay with him and help him out as much as possible i.e look for a good job for him if you can, since you said you're a graduate
(you'll probably benefit from it when he starts making the money)

2.Once he gets the job, he need to get a place of his own

3.Before you finally decide to marry him pls make sure he can take care of you
(we not taking about excessive things like holiday to US or Dubai) e.g Food at home, take you out once in while e.t.c

4.While he's working, if possible he should go to UNIVERSITY part-time and complete his studies.

IF he does not get a better job and steady income before you marry, you are liable to Cheat or Leave him
Sports › Re: Liverpool Star Gerrard's House Robbed by tboy1(m): 5:43pm On Dec 13, 2007
vikiviko:
While Steven Gerrard was leading Liverpool to the second round of the Champions League on Tuesday, four burglars broke into his house, confronted his wife and stole some jewelry.

Merseyside Police said Wednesday it was investigating the incident, which occurred around 9:30 p.m. local time the previous night at the house north of Liverpool.

"Four men, wearing dark clothing, hoods and balaclavas, entered the property and stole items of jewelry," Merseyside Police said. "We cannot confirm the nature of the confrontation.

"The female resident, and another woman who was in the house at the time, were left shaken but uninjured."

Liverpool won its match 4-0 in Marseille, France.

Gerrard is reportedly the sixth Liverpool soccer player to have been robbed in the past 18 months, often while they have been away for soccer matches played outside Britain.

Former goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek, current goalkeeper Pepe Reina, defender Daniel Agger and strikers Peter Crouch and Dirk Kuyt have also been burgled.
So? The guy probably has insurance on evry single thing in his house.

Best buy=amount the player was bought for i.e not so expensive and has been very effective and adapted with the club

B.Sagna-The way the guy is playing is like he's been playing for arsenal for so long, although he's playing RB you'll almost think he's a winger and he's delivery(crosses) is probably 90% accurate
