44chux: Good morning all.
I have 3-decoders in 3 different rooms and am looking for a way to re-locate them into one room and from there broadcast HDMI quality output to all other room TVs. Basically the way it is done in hotels. RF quality is not good enough even with signal booster You need HDMI Hub and Splitter to get the job done |

Its easier tracked using the TP 11095H30000 LNB skew=6:0clock...when you get your best signal quality on this tp...Tighten your dish and input the the tp for Ghallywood(11015 H30000) the signal pops up automatically... Then tweak your LNB as needed...blind scan and enjoy. Willokafor: 11015 v 30000, it's 4 inches below multiTV, it signal quality is poor though 34-40 at most you had to be technical to track it. Thanks... I'll give it another shot. Digitman: Sorry for the late reply... However you can always chat me up for urgent reply if need be.
Now back to the issue on ground. It's pretty obvious that you have been tracking a wrong location right from day one. So let's remedy that, in that exact position where you got ghallywood. I need you to tight your dish at the back and slide it down between 7 to 11 inches, the frequency will show you either a little signal or a sign. Then you tight the dish and slightly loose the the one at the back, after that move the dish slowly to your left to boost the signal. That should do it.
Remember to track with any of these frequencies
11050 H 30000 or 11090V 30000.
Happy hunting |

Was there a particular reason for setting it at 6.0 clock? I wasn't able to track the signal @ 3:0 clock but easily gets it at 6.0 clock though with quality hovering around 50% plus max. I decided to improve on the quality yesterday...it improved to 73% plus max but when I scanned the tp 11095 H 30000 the channels didn't pop up... I did a blind scan got Ghallywood and some other channels... But the channels I previously got on 11095 H 30000 didn't show up. Am still at a loss as to what could be the reason for my inability to track the tp 11090 V 30000 @ 3:0 clock. However did mytv channels come out when you scanned your decoder? No I didn't get mytv channels. Thanks Digitman: Was there a particular reason for setting it at 6.0 clock?

LNB @ 6:0 clock Digitman: With LNB at 3.0 clock... The above frequency shows red. So I wonder how you could have gotten green/ signal with it. Or was your LNB turned to 6.0 clock?
Anyway those channels @ 51.5e are still very much active with this frequency 11090 V 30000. Hopefully I believe you must have resolved it by now. |

With this TP 11050H30000 the signal quality is about 85% on the decoder while this TP 11090V30000 the quality is just about 13-15% the disparity is much. Where do I work on, do I tweak the LNB or just start the entire tracking processes a fresh... Just need some clue. Thanks Digitman: Your decoder is very capable of getting those channels. |

SRT 4940 Digitman: If I may ask, what decoder are you using? |
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by tchijioke: 10:08am On Oct 15, 2020 |
Thanks...it was strange though... When I did the blind scan the receiver got TSTV Chanels, but it displayed them as radio frequencies and also played it as such...i'll try again using 11090 V 30000. Digitman: If I were to be in your shoes, I will go back to my dish and make sure 11090 V 30000 signal is active ( pop up). If not then I have to address that as the problem. But if the signal on the dish is active/green on my tracker. Then I will know the problem is from my decoder.
So please, use 11090 V 30000 for doing your tracking first . Confirmed you've tracked it, (that exact frequency is showing green on your tracker)
Before going inside the house to scan it on your decoder. Then if your decoder does not see the signal after that. We can then speculate on the decoder being the issue. |

No success yet I tracked 51.5°e with 11050 H 30000= Green I manually input 11090 V 30000 =Red I did a blind scan yet no success. What's the next step pls . Thanks Digitman2: Sorry bro.. It was a typo error. I meant to type 11090 V 30000 |
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by tchijioke: 8:49am On Oct 13, 2020 |
Firstly I must commend your selfless support on this forum@ Digitman2 and a host of others. Digitman2: There is no issue.. You have two option. You can either blind scan or manually input the frequency. 11090 H 30000 I did the bolded... But i didn't get the "green light" though i didn't blind scan cos its a strong decoder. It takes it ages to do a full blind scan so I simply reverted to my previous sat NigcomSat. Maybe I have to make out time and do the needful. Thanks |

Digitman2: First of all, using lyngsat to confirm the channels update given here, is not really a wise decision. Because that website is not always up to date or quick to update their channel list. Most info you see there are sometimes very old or outdated.
Secondly the info given here is not based on what any website is saying but rather based on real live/ personal experience. So when you hear us talking about latest development, it's based on the fact that we have, tracked, scanned, watched and confirmed. Before we come here to say anything of that sort.
Thirdly, many of us have dishes pointed at major sat positions or some are into daily installation. So most times do a periodic blind scanning.
Fourthly, when you hear more than one person repeating or hammering on new channels update / sat position. You don't need to rush to any website to go and check that info. Because there is a huge difference between office work and field work. The website is like an office work. But forums like this, is the real field work that contains people who carry out the physical practicals needed to give an authentic info and solutions in real time.
Finally on the issue of dish size.. The signal is strong enough to be tracked by a 60cm dish or above depending on which is at your disposal Succinct |
