You're are almost there ma'am, a little bit of positivity and prayers Hello my people. Please , what effect would a student loan from the like of MPower have on getting a PR or on PGW permit especially in provinces like Ontario . It's an UG 4 year course in Nursing . The first year tuition will be paid by sponsors while loan will.be used for subsequent years . I have read sollysassysassy posts on.MPower bu it's hot to do with POF Thanks . I |

Omiinii: International students in Canada have the right to change their program or institution as long as their study permit is valid. This means that you can change the college you are studying in Canada after getting a visa or study permit. You must make sure that you meet all the criteria required by your study permit. This involves studying at a designated learning institution (DLI) and regularly participating in your studies in Canada. Note that your main purpose and activity must be studying, therefore, your study program is required to be a full-time basis.
You will also need to inform (CIC) about the college change. This is done by reporting the federal government through your online account that you have currently changed your post-secondary institution. After signing in your online account, you will need to enter your new college’s DLI number, your student ID number and as well as the date you are going to start your new study program.
In Quebec, the procedure of changing schools or study programs is a bit different. If you want to study in Quebec as an international student, you must have a Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ). Those who are already in Quebec as students, need to submit a new CAQ application to be able to change their educational program, school or institution. Quite expository . Thanks @omiinii |

YinksXO: Hi, for the custodian, I think it depends on the province your child is going to and if it's required, there will be a place holder for it in your application platform. The custodian does not have to be a family member, some schools will provide this for a fee, if you ask them. Thanks @ Yinks XO |

I understand it is better & safer for one to change his Dli after getting his study permit here and after landing in Canada. My questions are these . 1) can I use LOA of eg U ottawa to get a study visa , Land in Canada & before resumption change to another Dli in A) same Pronince but another uni. B) change tona Dli college in another province eg Alberta. Thanks . Omiinii: Exactly |

Osemigho: Canada loves young people like this, but finance must be in very good condition.
1. You can add affidavit of sponsorship.
2 and 3. Can they afford the tuition and fees legally? Visa officers will be looking at employment document from father. See if you can reactive the mother CAC document.
4. Those are assets to support the financial status of parents. You may or may not add valuation report. At the end, liquid money carry more weight than any valuation report.
5. If guardian is required, I belive they must be in the same city. It is better if applicant is related and will live with guardian for one year to clock 18.
Tighten your sponsorship well and make sure applicant submit a good LOE/SOP. All the best. Thanks so much @ Osemigho . I really appreciate. God bless you real good . |

Good day my people . Thanks for all your advices on this platform . I intend to start gathering our visa documents .fir by 17 year old . Please, could you confirm if the following are in order? 1) sponsors _ mum & dad ( both will sign sponsor letters & provide bank SOA) 2) dad is a fed civil servant 3) mum has a Nur & Pry school but the Cac cert is showing inactive on Cac portal . Does this matter to the VO ? 4) Does Survey & building plan of a house in Ibadan suffice as home ties or we need a valuation report ? 5) Will copies of vehicle particulars @ 2 Highlanders suffice ir we need a valuation report ? 6) I read on IRcc site that she wi require a guardian in Canada. Must the guardian be in same city as the school or just have to.be in same province . ? Thanks. |
