Please is this normal, that a school will ask you to pay 30k before they can confirm that they actually issued you your trancript which had cost approximately thesame amount to get.

Personally i found this very outrageous and unbelievable when one of my friends who is waiting for WES to translate the transcript called to tell me that ABSU says they have seen the mail requesting for their confirmation but will not respond till payment is made..

How can a country be this difficult. Education sector , health sector, economy , everything is zero.

Is this what is obtaiable in other schools too.

I did not school in Nigeria ( thank God sef ), so the whole story is still a pain in my ear.

Thank you all for your contributions and advices, would have loved to respond to some people individually but coming back from work at this time, very tired already.

Dear nairalanders, plz i need advice from experienced minds. I am 28 years old and have been workin in a Bank for three years ( i am fairly confortable ). But i have been under pressure by my dad to advance my studies abroad.

The issue here is that it feels i will be starting life all over again, after the MSC then what ? Come back ? Job search again?? I also have a girl friend i have been committed to and we both have been planning to settle down next yr.

I am so confused and i cant plan my future any longer. Some people have adviced that living abroad is always better than nigeria while others have said , if you are ok here why move.

Plz career experts and experinced ones should plz advice me putting into consideration my relationship commitments too.

For those who tried to politely engage my comment...a big thank you. Yes...tucking in does not make a man right before God...it is what is in his heart that counts. But...at the same time...out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. Leaving church because of being asked to tuck in shirt does not show a humble heart.

Am sure that if the OP was asked to tuck in his shirt at his placeof work...he would do so immediately...because he does not want to lose his job.(Being a bit facetious here...I know).

Finally....the point here is humility. Being humble is an ongoing process. It is one I go through everyday...and one I hope to keep on going through. As long as I stay within God's Word.

At 50k you can get a pure breed puppy of a choice dog. But Sir I think the right path here is to find out which particular dog/s breed/s appeals to you, what purpose/s you want that dog to serve, how will that particular dog handle being alone for up to 12hrs as you stated (guard and guardian breeds don't have a problem with being lonely once they are adult but pet/toy breeds can develope temprament issues when denied bonding with their human parents). Thats my take on this. Youtube Dog 101, Dog breed info videos, fairvet.com etc can hasten your research, plus contributions from experienced dog owners and lovers here is priceless.

my dad had 4 dogs n he spends money on them that could have been used to do better things... tho he has the time but when they deliver he makes almost half a million from the rotweiler pups and dobaman cross breeds.... I love dogs but i have never owned one. My friend who has six dogs wants to sell one of his pups to me. He says its a cross breed of english mastiff and ......(forgotten the mother"s breed) .
