Don't mind that dude, if America had a d#ck, he will be first in line to suck it. US warned their citizens about a specific attack and it happened just the way they said it would. Must be some nice communication efficiency between the US and Isis if you ask me.

MT: This means there are no technical people who are competent at NIMC.
How did XpressVerify API interface with the national data which suppose to require authentication and authorization before access will be allowed.
Only God knows what they have been able to do with people's data.
Head suppose to roll with NIMC technical drivers and hard questions need to be asked.
Competent hands and robust infrastructure suppose to man sensitive data as such. I am so scared there would have been lot of identity thefts already It simply means the APIs of NIMC are exposed and without authorization requirement. Simple adding /api after the website name could have even exposed it. I'm sure they won't tell the public that part. |

ignis: Having custody of their travel documents won't have any effects because they are not citizens of Nigeria. Means they can't leave the country, pending when you've concluded the investigations and if necessary, charging them properly. |
Business › Re: FG Seeks Fresh Court Order To Extend Detention Of Binance Executives by Tealcrestmedia(m): 2:16pm On Mar 16, 2024 |
ivolt: You are mostly correct. But the part about top users not having KYC is definitely not true. In fact, top users are subjected to more stringent KYC and scrutiny than low volume traders. Crypto doesn't mean no KYC. People who don't want KYC don't join centralised exchanges,
What the FG wants is that Binance gives it all the data of Nigerian users so that it can find at least one person who violates one law and maybe force some to give up their assets. Similar to how they arrests hundreds of Yahoo boys on the suspicion of owning a laptop and then charging very few of them.
In order to establish money laundering, the government has to prove that the source of funds are illegitimate. Since Binance doesn't accept cash, the investigation should have started from Nigerian banks which is the gateway for Nigeria based crypto payments. If the government is really trying to fight money laundering, it should start with the accounts of BDC operators.
By now, the FG should have one suspect's name even without Binance assistance since it has access to all Nigerian banking transactions. But they are still waiting on Binance. Your concluding sentence further supports my theory that holding them beyond that 14 days was absolutely unnecessary. Besides, a Nigerian agent can insert themselves into the binance ecosystem and set up a burst operation on major movers. Last time I checked, p2p merchants always have their name and phone numbers boldly displayed on their profiles. This approach we are using is not smart at all, too much muscle no brain work. Those detained folks are employees, they don't own binance. Imagine a Nigerian director arrested and detained because he works for say PayPal or stripe. Makes no sense. |
Business › Re: FG Seeks Fresh Court Order To Extend Detention Of Binance Executives by Tealcrestmedia(m): 12:39pm On Mar 16, 2024 |
This can be like a two edged sword and have a negative effect on investor confidence. If there are charges, charge them quickly or let them go on bail. You can't be detaining someone for over a month and you're yet to build your case, it's really not good. You can release them on bail and have custody of their travel documents. Apart from the money laundering allegations (no kyc for top users, because it's obviously crypto and that's how it works), I don't think there's any other huge crime in running an exchange platform.
They should remember too that we have Nigerian entrepreneurs looking to do business globally. |

TV/Movies › Re: How Much Netflix Costs In Every Country by Tealcrestmedia(m): 7:15pm On Mar 10, 2024 |
I think it's because of behavior rather than purchasing power when it comes to Nigeria. A Nigerian will rather download free movies than pay for a subscription that's reoccurring.
Plus you also have to factor in the cost of internet in Nigeria, so even if you're a subscriber, it's expensive to watch when you factor in the data costs too. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: F-35 Becomes World's First Stealth Fighter To Carry Nuclear Weapons (Photos) by Tealcrestmedia(m): 7:04pm On Mar 10, 2024 |
DeepSight: And M.A.D effectively renders these weapons almost non existent - in that the chances that they will ever be used are near zero. With the systems in place today, even an obliterated nation taken by nuclear surprise will still respond in more than equal measure through automated systems within the oceans and in space. Apt. To me I see the US as very smart. They never allow conflicts to be fought on their home soil but they go around fighting and destroying other people's lives and countries in the name of freedom and democracy. Now they are aligning half of Europe against Russia, neighboring countries getting ready to annihilate themselves on home soil so the military industrial complex like rayteon can make profits. What grave thing has Russia done so far that warrants them posturing and carrying out war scenarios training further provoking Russia that can't be sorted out in a roundtable. A peaceful world will never benefit the interest of those that see war as a money making venture and therein lies the problem. |

blackmantis: Russia has so many nukes scattered around their vast country and in submarines around the globe and they function Independently. Besides China wouldn't fold it's arms and watch. Cause if it happens to Russia they'd be next. The Military industrial complex wants this war by all means. Let them keep poking the bear, las las the world will reset.

Daystar7: Palestinian land lol? Who named it Palestine to begin with... So the Roman ottoman empire has more right than a Jew in Jerusalem? Jesus Christ is a Jew recognized by ur blood thirsty paedophilic jihadistic Mohammed but y'all won't. Blasphemy Here we go again with your fallacy of hasty generalization. The fact that we speak out against the oppression and injustice faced by the Palestinian people now makes me a Muslim? And you insulting another religion clearly shows the kind of home training yiu had growing up,which is entirely your problem to handle, not mine. So because the British once ruled Nigeria, we are not deserving of the rights to the land of Nigeria as our nation? |

grandstar: 180,500 jews call Argentina home The deadliest ever massacre in Argentinas history occurred on the 18th of July, 1994 when a 85 jews were killed in a terror bombing.
As at 2000, Argentina had the largest Jewish community in Latin America and the sixth largest outside Israel. We are saying the same thing. People should separate religion from a geographical location. Your argument is akin to saying, all Christians /Muslims should have their own country by virtue of being a Christian or Muslim. There's absolutely nothing wrong with being a jew, but congregating and forming a country(by force) on an existing country because of your religion is Zionism, and that is the issue. |

There's the Oron to Eket to Eleme to Bayelsa to warri to Benin to ore to Shagamu(with detours to Epe-Lekki) to Lagos road already. Of what significance is it, if it's done close to the ocean? |
