I am currently in ss4 an due for promotion to ss3 by Dec 2019. As Jarus said, CBA has been on President Buhari's table for approval. To tell u more, three states have not met the required number of the slots and most if not all the candidates from those states were paid tp.

I have had friends that that happened to. He was affected by an unexpected layoff when oil price crashed in 2015/2016, thank God he was already undergoing recruitment of another company. He resumed 2 weeks after. He could have stayed at home for months. That experience has taught me to always have one company you are talking to no matter how secure you think your job is. And yes, it's not only NNPC I'm talking to.

By the way, you really cannot stop anyone from applying for job they want.

And I never said I was sure of rejecting the offer if given. I have always used "likely", "when we get to the bridge" etc.

And there are other benefits to me, including polishing my interview taking skills (which will be used for teaching) as someone that co-owns an interview coaching firm.
