sulaak:Exactly! It's not just FG business. It's only in Nigeria that you'll visit some states and you'll be wondering what their government has been doing with FG's allocations. You'll just be seeing vast areas of land not being used for anything (even agriculture!). Whereas almost half of the country will be squeezing in small Lagos. Sometimes it seems as if we're cursed. It's unbelievable. |
uuzba:It's not that difficult to create commercial cities especially in the southern coastal region. The FG can: 1) Construct a modern coastal road that links Lagos to Warri, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Calabar.( This has to be done with caution because sea levels are rising. 2) Construct a high speed railway along the Southern coast. This rail service will encourage people to live in these other places while working in Lagos. A lot of people work in London but live elsewhere. In Lagos people also go to work from Ogun state but the traffic is horrible. 3) Build trade free zones in other places and reduce taxes for companies who move to the zones. 4) Build seaports and international airports in these places. By now Rivers State should have an International Airport. 5) Invest heavily in agriculture in these places. More of these can be discovered upon research. But here is a good start. I agree with you. Many states have been complacent. That's why we need visionary leaders at all levels of government. This country is too blessed for everyone to pack themselves in Lagos and be living substandard lives. (Traffic, Mosquitoes, Overcrowding, etc) |
No matter how many good infrastructure Lagos puts up, they will quickly deteriorate under the weight of overpopulation. The FG should work towards creating more commercial cities so that people can have options to go those places to trade or work. That's how economies grow! |
So this is the news they've been making so much noise about. I even thought they were going to reduce the price of their packages as per Covid-19. Nonsense. ![]() |
Great move. But in Napoli he needs to work even harder to score goals. In Serie A, defences are set up to prevent strikers from taking touches in the box unlike in Ligue 1 where strikers are given more spaces to operate. |
backnbeta:So you've been on Nairaland for 13 years. |
GoodBoi1:Don't mind him. Awon aspire to require to perspire. |
They should scrap the Balloon D'or sef. That thing has turned into popularity contest. |
Can't wait to make enough money and leave this house jare. A man is only respected when he pays for or builds the roof over his head ![]() |

Epamilara A77 Pro |
Nice specs. Not too bad a price. One thing I love about Oppo phones is their vibrant display. The colours of the screen are just so full of life. But I'm sticking with my Xiaomi. ![]() |
This is sooo sad. |
ThierryJay:Weight is not only about muscles. The density of the bones play a huge factor in overall weight. Adesanya's bones are far more dense than Kamaru's. That's why he can knockout his opponents with a single leg kick to the head. Something Kamaru is not capable of doing. |
Just got off Twitter now after seeing the hate from those American peeps on Usman. They say he's boring and all that and they're trying to take the shine off his victory. But when you're the Champ, the only thing you should concern yourself with is retaining your belt. Every other thing is secondary. Entertainment is for WWE. This is serious business. It's the job of the Challenger to bring on the fight and put the Champ on the defense. You don't expect Kamaru to go all out and expose himself. He isn't stupid. So yes, the fight was boring but the belt hasn't switched hands. Haters can hate. Nobody cares. Kamaru remains the CHAMP!! ![]() |
Still the Champ! |
Masvisal using all of his energy trying to damage Usman. Expect him to tire soon |
