sonmvayina:Thank for your quite well arranged reply. However, it’s important to know that there are certain flaws in your argument. For example, if there’s fire in front of a child. Not that you made that fire for the child to burn its hand but you made that fire to cook and you command the child not to touch the fire. Does it necessary mean that you have present the child with the opportunity to burn itself? You see when God made Adam, he presented facts to life to him and presented facts to death to him. If he lives this way he’ll have life but if he decides to live contrary, death is sure. That’s different from cold and hot bc both cold and hot are good. Evil is different from the examples you’re making. Long and short etc, these are just mundane experience that has nothing to do with what God says. Have you ever thought that Adam is wrong? Why can’t you see this? Do you think that you’re defending your adamic self and maybe if you have to think critically to realise that Adam is the culprit then it’ll mean that you’re exposing that nature of Adam in you? Have you thought about this possibility? Can I have faith by hearing the word of God? #biblestudy https://youtube.com/shorts/E65-msM13YI?feature=share |
sonmvayina:No? really? Ok explain yourself |
Maynman:When you sleep at night, ask yourself this question. |
Maynman:This guy discussed it on his algorithm https://chat.openai.com/chat |
Maynman:Ask yourself sir. Why are you asking the person you claim not to have common sense. Where do you expect him to get the common sense to answer you? |
Maynman:Ok you’re right |
Maynman:Ok you’re right ! |
Maynman:I told you to ask yourself questions from now. You lost an opportunity for intelligent conversation yesterday. Go rest Mr. why are you so fixated on this thread. Go live a peaceful life where there’s no God or codes Ok? |
Maynman:Do you think that’s your point is not so open? Have you thought that maybe Yahweh cannot sin because Yahweh also obeys his law and he takes it serious? So then if Yahweh obeys his own laws then it’ll be sheer impunity for his creation to refuse to obey that law. You see the way the prime minister of UK was charged by the same police that works for him, do you he’ll take it lightly for anyone who is going against law and order in the Uk? |

Why did Adam disobey? |
sonmvayina:So God instilled disobedience into man then inspired people to write a book where he complained about human disobedience. It’s either that God is mad or you’re the mad one. When you have a child will you likewise install disobedience into that child and go on to author a book where your majors narrative will be your child’s disobedience? https://youtube.com/shorts/jf5yhYp8bqs?feature=share |
Why did Adam sin? It’s known that Adam, the first man sinned, but what is not so popular is the reason he sinned. There are different opinions as to why he sinned, but the prevalent one is that of the Abrahamic religions, which holds that Adam sinned because he was deceived. Why did Adam sin? The term “sin” is quite hidden in mystery, so we can’t really tell why Adam sinned from surface value. The word “sin” is hamartia in Greek, and it means to miss the mark; to do what one does not have the capacity to do, or to go beyond a boundary. This means there was a boundary which Adam went over. Many say he did this because he was deceived, and others say it is because of love; his love for the Woman. Was Adam deceived or was his action premeditated? Was it love or lust? We will never know the truth unless we take a deeper look at the Genesis or Morning. The bible makes it very clear that Adam disobeyed. This information is well established in the scriptures, and Apostle Paul went on to say disobedience existed in the world through Adam. This is to say, prior to Adam’s disobedience, nothing had ever disobeyed. The word “disobedience” means: the refusal to obey. It can be said to be the refusal to obey a constituted authority or order. Likewise, the word “refusal” means: to express oneself as unwilling to accept. Therefore, on a broader definition disobedience means to express oneself as unwilling to accept to obey a constituted authority or order. The constituted authority in this case is God and the order is the law that was given to Adam. So from Paul’s point of view, this unwillingness to accept to obey came into the world by Adam and not before him (Romans 5:12). It’s his unwillingness to obey God that caused Adam to sin. And the unwillingness of all other men to obey is because of the adamic nature they inherited. What does this really mean? The unwillingness to accept to obey is called “unbelief” or better still “disbelieve”. This is because “believe” can be simplified as “to accept to obey, continue-in, or comply”, and unbelief is just the opposite of this. Believe is an internal thing. It’s something that happens within the heart of man, and it has to do with the “will” of man, and this is influenced by that man’s desires. So whether a person will accept to obey depends only on that person’s will as influenced by such as person’s desires. Similarly, the refusal to obey is internal. It happens in man’s heart, and it’s a product of the man’s will as influenced by his desires and nothing else. No entity, not even God can make man obey or refuse to obey, man’s decision is born by his own will. This is the freedom that God gave Adam in the morning/beginning, and the freedom available to all man. Sin is not automatic nor does it occur by chance. Sin, like everything of life happens through a process. The process for which sins occurs is firstly unbelief. A person’s disbelieve will cause them to disobey. Sin comes happens in the aftermath of disobedience, it is this sin that leads to lack of awareness or death. What is sin? No one truly knows what sin is. But from the scripture, we see that sin appears to be the main ring in a system of three rings; iniquity, transgression, and sin (Exodus 34:7). If these things are very similar, what do they individually mean? Transgression as simply put is to violate a law or command. It’s the direct product of unbelief, and the first of the three rings. Iniquity on the other hand is continued transgression of the law. Iniquity gives rise to sin. What then is sin? Sin is rather an archaic term, and in the time when the idea was created, it meant “blame” or “fault”. Therefore, to sin is to blame or fault. So Adam’s sin was that he continued to transgress, and blamed (Job 31:33). The process that gives birth to sin starts from the moment of disbelieve and steadily proceeds to after iniquity (Ezekiel 28:16). This is because a person who faults a law will first transgress it, will continue to transgress it, and even when they are questioned for correction, they will still fault the person who calls them. This is what results to such a person’s death (Proverbs 15:10). This is why Adam sinned and died: critical analysis of the text in the morning/genesis shows that Adam already had the desire to eat of the said tree, and this desire to influence his refusal to obey the commandment of God. The woman is just a convenient excuse to hide his thoughts (Job 31:33). This will mean that the Adam only lusted over the woman as a means to achieve his motive. Maynman:If I tell you that you’re sounding irresponsible and unreasonable, it’s the truth. When a man starts asking question like: did I ask for two legs, why did god make the woman and so on, they’re being unreasonable. Also by defending actions, they’re being irresponsible bc they do not want to take responsibility for personal actions and that’s what Adam also did. I didn’t insult you, I was only telling you how you’re sounding. Ask anyone if that’s how you sound or not. The burst of emotions that followed was unnecessary. This is why there’s never an intelligent conversation with your kinds bc they rarely can keep their emotions in check. If I was sounding unreasonable and irresponsible, I’ll appreciate someone telling me . In fact I’ll ask why they think I sound so. I did you good by telling you how you sound so you can correct yourself and make this an intelligent convo. I’m sure you’re planing to have children someday. Will you ask those children if they want to be born before you bring them to life? If you don’t ask them, then you are just an hypocrite. that’s why I said you’re being unreasonable by asking similar questions of God. This is what I was trying to tell you. I don’t have time to engage in war of words with you or anyone on here or even in reality. If I see a person is making unreasonable claims I just move away. I really wanted to discus with you but the moment you started saying unreasonable things. I was turned off. |
Maynman:Sorry kido you lost the chance for a reasonable conversation. Go ask yourself the remaining questions you have. |
Maynman:Are you hurting from a terrible life experience? Do you think claiming to be an atheist or something stops you from being respectful to your elders? Do you think it stops you from respecting everyone? |
… |
Maynman:You’re being childish and immature my dear friend. Think like an adult pls. God gave you so much ability, if you don’t want two legs, remove one, if two is not enough, add more. This is why you have brain or are you not use that brain? Why can’t you think. God has made you perfect in a way that even science can testify that you’re one of a kind. Don’t be ungrateful. Now you’re sounding ungrateful and I really don’t like ungrateful lots. And if you want to engage me. Have some respect. Watch your words and behave yourself maturely otherwise don’t bitter. Let’s have a meaning conversation that doesn’t not let our your emotions. I engage atheist quite often and I always warn them to speak with respect. I’ll like you to behave yourself so we can continue this conversation or else let’s just end it pls. |
sonmvayina:Is disobedience also a human construct? |
Maynman:Do you see your bias in all of this? Do you see that you’re defending the Adamic nature and behaving like Adam? Where’s responsibility in all of this? Where’s accountability in all of this? If you marry woman, would you lock her up in the house so she doesn’t cheat? If you allow her go out and she cheats, how would you feel when she tells you that you’re the cause and it’s bc you didn’t lock her up? Do you now see how irresponsible and unreasonable you sound? Freedom is not lack of control my friend, freedom is self control. God gave man freedom and gave him everything he needed to be like God. Even God obeys his own laws so why couldn’t man obey the same laws? Now In your one sided example, you’re mixing your bias and nature with facts. The doctor shouldn’t have added the poison into the prescription. Bc God didn’t mix sin into the nature of man. Having the ability to do something doesn’t stop you from thinking critically about that thing. If you cannot think before doing a thing then you’re more or less already dead. |
sonmvayina:God created us to sin? So you’re saying it’s God’s intention and desire that we should sin? Is that what you’re insinuating? |
We are discussing the dynamics of the Christian faith. Faith something that has been reduced to nothing of late and it’s important to speak about it in a time like this. Kindly watch video and share. sonmvayina:Why do you think sin is a human construct? |
.. |
sonmvayina:Are you in any way insinuating that God wanted Adam to sin? Are you also insinuating that if a person rapes a girl, it’s a mistake and he was meant to do it so he can learn from it? |

OgaNightmare:So you’re saying common man cannot devieve you but only professional deceivers can. That’s good, as long as you’re still deceived, the nature is happy. |
budaatum:What’s all this? Are you ok budda? In fact …………., |
budaatum:Not a surprise bc even the devil masquerades as an angel. Anyways can you look again into that reply? It appears you missed something. I did mention that I detest your kind of thinking. I detest shallow thinking. So don’t speak in defense, even God detest a carnal mind for its a shared hostility btw God and such mind. I detest your mind too budda, it’s weak and nothing good comes from it. All it brings is thorn I hope you it doesn’t continue like this till you return to the ground. |
budaatum:Shoot myself in the foot, how? Budda, are you ok? Do you need an evaluation? I could help you. I’m telling you a fact that renowned psychologists know that sleep and death don’t make sense at all but here you are saying so many things. What do you spend your life doing? Do you read textbooks or you just consume things spewed by logicians like yourself? You claim to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. What a shame that is. It’s even more shameful that you don’t even know what that is. Hey are you fine at all? |
