PoliticsRe: Response To The SS/SE Elders Communiqué (an Opinion) by TechRev: 12:00pm On Apr 24, 2015
How does one wish Nigeria well when Nigeria does not wish you well?

Those in SE/SS that believe in self determination will always be so irrespective of who is president. They are turning up the tempo now cause Buhari's win is an opportunity to get more people on their side.

While those in SE/SS that believe in one Nigeria are the ones trying to hang on the corridors of power waiting for a turn that will never come - the thieving elite.

Now who are the people to believe? The thieving crew or the activists?

Foreign AffairsRe: Terrifying Photos Reveals What's Really Happening In South Africa by TechRev: 8:41am On Apr 19, 2015
martyns303:
Your points are invalid and here is why.

1. You made mention of the Oba of Lagos, when he made that statement everyone knew it didn't hold water, even the people the threat was directed at were at the gathering and laughed it off. Has anyone been thrown into the Lagoon? No! When the Oba was called out for his unguarded statement he apologized, did King Goodwill apologize? No.

2. Boko Haram is a terrorist organization, just like ISIS, Al Shebab etc, by comparing what is going on in SA with Boko Haram as you just did, then you are saying SA is a terrorist nation just like Boko Haram, ISIS and AL Shebab.

3. Why is it then that the entire world and Nigeria condemning SA, let me paint you a picture, if you were a mother and you beat your child mercilessly and the child starts bleeding would your reaction be the same if it were your neighbor who did it? Wouldn't you call the police, fight back the neighbor? Am just saying.

And before you start painting your SA as sweet place, this may not be necessary but let me say, I schooled in one of the most elite institution in SA, alongside some 15-20 Nigerians, for the duration of our studies we had spent almost R1 million each in fees. And that is more money than a large % of South Africans contribute to the South African economy. It is from that money that your old is payed benefits, it is from that money when your girls get pregnant with no father the government pays benefit till the child turns 18, it is from that money your disabled gets benefits am sure by now you get the image.

So when your ignorant and lazy South Africans throw away all the contributors the economy, not only will they be jobless but without any benefit, then I wonder what will be their next action, turn against themselves like animals.
Story for the Gods. Murder is murder irrespective of who committed it. Clean and cry about the murderous herdsmen and bokoharam first before crying for southafrica. As PPAngel said you always have christians and Igbos to kill at will so why angry that SA is competing with you??

Hypocrisy is killing you nigerians. When Igbo man complain they tell him to go back to his region (SE). Why not tell foreigners in SA to go back to their countries??

Useless monkeys and baboons in Zoological republic Nigeria.

So one irresponsible Lord Lugard was actually God ? There is nothing we won't read in Nairaland.
A Lugard that probably shouted the name Nigeria while on top of that british Haaarlot. No wonder nothing works in the Zoo Nigeria. Its a zoo filled with baboons and monkeys, its destruction is near!

Though deceit, injustice, lies and other vices hold sway in Nigeria but yet still, it is not the devils republic... God still created her and her people...she can still be redeemed through the rightful measures...hence not due for destruction yet...I am not sure that God has finished with us here...let's do the right thing by accepting there's a problem and sincerely solving the problem... thanks
Lies and Lies. Lies rule this very place, it stinks with lies. It was Luggard that created Nigeria not God!! See the lies again?? The Devil shivers at the lies, injustice, killing and worship of evil emanating from this ZOO.

PoliticsRe: A Message To Those Who Are Threatening Trouble by TechRev: 10:14am On Mar 31, 2015
egift:
As we still wait the complete official outcome of the 2015 Election Results, I want to thank Nigerians for the way everyone has comported themselves during this anxious period. I salute every citizen of Nigeria, you are great people. Prof. Dora was right after-all.

I want to use this opportunity to inform all those threatening mayhem if the result does not favour their preferred candidate.

1. Apart from minor hitches here and there, the outcome of this election has been largely the decision of Nigerians. The beautify of Democracy is that in a period like this, a candidate who appeal most to the voters get elected into power. It may not necessarily mean the candidate you want.

2. If you have witnessed the brutality of war and its adverse consequences, you will not ask for it. Is it the destruction, looting, vandalizing of infrastructure, rapes, killings, suspension of all forms of civilization, hunger, sickness, heart brokenness of watching helplessly the agony of your loved ones, human right abuses, always fearful of your life, watch you community in flame and pounded by explosives, and so many more.

3. Anyone who deliberately (through utterance and actions) undermine the fragile peace we currently have in Nigeria will not be forgiven and will not know peace.

4. The campaign was a hard fought one, a lot of hate speech was in the air. Time to let it settle.

5. The Governorship and State Assembly Elections are still ahead, Nigerians will not forgive anyone who undermines the electoral process that was hard fought for.

6. Read my lips - Nigeria Will Not Divide. If you are tired of Nigeria, take a walk through Sahara Desert OR jump in the Atlantic ocean and start and start swimming. Any one, group who pick arms against the Federal Republic of Nigeria will be decisively dealt with. We will never again tolerate anyone beating up his rusty chest and undermining the unity and engendering the lives of innocent Nigerians around. In case you don't know, to attempt killing yourself is even a crime.

7. With this election, our Politicians should understand that Nigerians will no longer condone incompetence in positions of leadership and 2nd term is not guaranteed, it is earned. If all you care is making money, then go start a business. Political Office is an opportunity to serve the people withing you purview.

8. Once again I thank even citizen of this great country as we wait for the results, complete the electoral process and moving forward together. We have suffered enough as a people. This is time for development, good governance and a time to see reasons to be proud of Nigeria our one and only country.

In all you do, find something productive, dust-up your CV if you are unemployed, write a business plan if you have a viable business ideas, etc. This is time for Nigerians.

God bless Nigeria. Let peace reign on us all.

- EGIFT of Nairaland

Afam4eva, maclatunji, OAM4J, Ikenna351 - FP. Thanks
Good letter, but have you delivered it to the marauding herds men killing and raping and looting?? So how is this different from war?? Send your letter to the little kids that watched their moms raped by herds men, watch their dad's throats slit, their homes burnt down and no single arrest. You guys are just Evil full stop. Nigeria is evil very evil and represent every thing evil. God must be weeping blood at the atrocities lies and coverups going on in This Zoo of a country. No wonder it gets worse as the churches and mosques increase in number. This is head quarters of Devil in this world and must be destroyed for light to shine.

IGBOSON2:
^^^They've been at it (the vengeance thingy) since the civil war....yet we're still here today waxing stronger by Gods grace!

To the OP; read my proverbial lips: Buhari (if confirmed and sworn in as president) is free to continue with the Hausa/Fulani agenda on Igbos he and his people are known for and have been strictly adhering to whenever they find themselves in power! We coped before and if we can come back from what they did to us before and during the civil war then whatever new stuff they have planned for us should be a walk in the park!

Sorry no cows for him! wink
Fearless and resolute!!! True son of your father God bless you. But the zoo will crumble.
PoliticsRe: What Igbos Should Do To Appease Buhari by TechRev: 9:43am On Mar 31, 2015

Buhari victory will only mean Hausa-Fulani are the owner of Nigeria and Yoruba are the willing tools while the rest are spoils of war.

Hence I can only see the sun truly rising at all cost
The truth will always see the light.
