AllahCock: Yeah! I heard they ordered a C-130 Gunship complete with Gatling gun and they just signed a contract with JB to build the longest Military runnway for Allah's Glorious AirForcelol, their aircraft carrier is also on the way built to operate in lake chad. Unlike US Nimitz, the bokoharam aircraft carrier can carry 500 f16 fighter jets and can also fly. It has enough fuel and supplies to go on for 300yrs. There has been talks in Bokoharam high command to make the aircraft carrier invisible! OP can give more details. |
Sloan: It's time to start organizing a massive ANTI-JONATHAN, ANTI-PDP MASSIVE RALLY on his visit to the white house this coming week. While you are saying its time, I believe there is already a Pro GEJ rally set to happen. An IDF soldiers account If there was any doubt that Operation Protective Edge has become a full-scale war against Hamas, a drive through the Gaza border region quickly dispel any uncertainties. After countless rocket attacks, mortars, and the discovery of a series of cross-border Hamas tunnels, designed to send murder squads into Israeli villages and towns, the southern regions near the frontier have become a war zone. Related: IDF shows photos of Hamas rocket sites dug into hospital, mosques Seven more IDF soldiers and officers killed in clashes with Hamas South of Ashkelon and Sderot, in the Eshkol and Sdot Negev regions, civilian life all but vanishes, and the IDF's very heavy presence takes its place. Military Police checkpoints pepper the roads, and army traffic dominates. In a field by the roadside, thick black smoke rises from a fire sparked by a Hamas mortar attack. Iron Dome interceptions and code red rocket alerts are frequent. Up above, a military helicopter swoops down, lands on a field, and picks up a wounded soldier. Every few minutes, the booming thud of IDF artillery fire reverberates through the gut, under the blazing July sun. Once thriving villages appear desolate. Many Israeli families, terrified by the prospect of Hamas gunmen emerging from tunnels to massacre them, have evacuated the area. Those that remain mostly stay in their homes. A number of farmers have stayed behind to work their lands, to avoid financial ruin and tend to their animals. Across the border, inside Gaza, the IDF is working to locate and destroy as many tunnels as it can. Its mission is to save this region from Hamas's subterranean terrorism, and to lift the paralysis of daily life caused by incessant Gazan projectile fire. To get to the Gazan tunnel shafts, which often begin inside civilian homes a few kilometers within the Strip, infantry soldiers backed by the Armored Corps last week raided Gazan districts such as Shejaia, in the northeast of the Strip. This is the capital of Gaza's tunnel network. Under the partial shade of a tree, in a dusty clearing near the border, a senior army source from the Artillery Corps provided a chilling account on Sunday of the battles that raged there. On July 20, a Golani infantry force sent to search for tunnels came under a massive attack by Hamas's Shejaia Battalion. This Hamas battalion is the largest in in its guerrilla army, made up of between 800 to 900 highly trained armed men. The Golani Brigade in Shejaia began sustaining heavy losses, the source recalled, after Hamas intelligence units mapped out its location. Hamas sent the information to terrorists in tunnels. In a coordinated fashion, the terrorists emerged from "the metro under Shejaia," the source said, referring to the tunnels, and launched a massive wave of anti-tank, mortar, sniper, and automatic gun fire from buildings surrounding the Golani force. Casualties were mounting on the Israeli side, and the source said. "I saw that enemy cells had come to within 40 meters of our forces," he added. At this stage, the Artillery Corps mapped out the location of enemy forces, in Gazan civilian residential buildings - areas where the IDF had previously told civilians to evacuate. The Artillery Corps Support Unit watched the battle with alarm, and took drastic action, the source said. "Otherwise, I knew we would be getting 600 body bags back." It instructed all of the Golani soldiers to enter their Namer armored personnel carrier [APC], and launched a wave of shelling, some of which fell on the Namers, which are built to withstand such strikes. Three artillery battalions rained down fire on Shejaia, in a bid to rescue the Golani soldiers. As this occurred, the source said, Hamas continued to blast the soldiers with mortars from all around the neighborhood. "We heard them say over the radio: Fire is coming down on us," the source said. After twenty minutes of shelling, silence ensued. "There were no more Hamas mortars, no more anti-tank missiles, no more automatic weapon fire," the source said. Ten buildings lay in ruins. "I can say that we did everything we could to warn the civilian population before the war began," the source said. "My heart aches for the noncombatants who were killed. This is a war in every way, not an operation. I visited our forces in Shejaia, and saw what I did with my own eyes," the source said. "And what we did there was nothing less than close support for the [infantry] corps." |
Brimmie: I think it's very foolish of Palestinian to go into war with Israel. The war looks one sided, one side has latest fighter jets, latest ammunition stealth fighters, while the Palestinians only have rockets to fight. BTW, what's UN take in this??UN wants a cease fire as early as yesterday. An arm of UN wants to investigate Isreal for human rights violations but Hamas will not be investigated. Any solution that leaves rockets in arms of Hamas and allow them to fire it at will at Isreali civilians is just postponing the fight. |
Ghaza should be demilitarized, to avoid this sort of situation in near future. |
Read that a poll suggests 85% of Israelis oppose cease fire for now. |
konjakonja: Please how can someone join ogboni fraternity?Good question. |
Evergreen123: we function without uYou are right in this you function without me. Cause what do you have to do with an engineer?? But you guys are killers!!!! Who wins?? you guys or Bokoharam?? Doctors are The only group that increase their pay by killing and spilling innocent blood!!! |
centje: do you know when the issue started? Do you know how many dialogues they have engaged? Do you really understand what is going on? Doctors are not insensitive, doctors carry the interest of the patients at heart. To show you how focused doctors are about patient care...you need to see how young doctors, on residency training, are drilled by consultants just to make sure they give patients the best care. And that permits you to kill lots of patients by going on indefinite strike?? |
yomi007k: Docs kill demselves 2 save nigerians-despite the harsh working conditions. When docs decide 2 fight 4 demselves, nigerians paint dem as evil instead of taking sides with d docs.Yea we paint you evil because you start killing us. How can we side you when you are killing us?? The issues you are fighting for are not life threatening but you kill and take lives while fighting for it. You make us loose loved ones, have you ever lost a loved one to avoidable death?? How can we side you?? by the way, Bokoharam also claim to be killing themselves to save their people (ie Islamic nation). |
yomi007k: Or the government.both are fighting FG by killing Nigerians. Whose deathtol will be more?? |
Doctors nation wide started their strike yesterday under NMA. I believe there will be casualties by the time the strike ends, many patients that should have been saved would die. Now at the end of the strike, who do you think will be leading in death toll count?? Doctors Or Bokoharam?? Vote now. |
yomi007k: That's a fat lie. The pace of work might be a little slow but patients will not die because cleaners r on strike I beg.So you agree that doctors are killers when they go on strike?? Cause only doctor's strike action can lead to death of patients?? And you are happy that only doctors strike can kill patients. OK lets see who collects more tallies at the end of the strike, Doctors or Bokoharam?? |
Oduduwaboy: How else does government listen in Nigeria? Educate the doctors na! You are wiser than NMA ( & ASUU).Doctors believe they are near God and above every other human especially those in the health system. Its just hypocrisy to tow same line as those you claim to be under you. If you claim to be above nurses and above JOHESU in education and et al. You should have come up with a way to make your points considered and possibly granted without sacrificing the patients you swore to protect. Doctors in nigeria are only concerned with money and title. Research and medical breakthroughs are gone to the wind. |
yomi007k: Abi o. Let d nurses, lab scientists n pharmacists run d hospital make we see how far.Neither can doctors run a hospital when Nurses go on strike, or lab scientists or cleaners go on strike. Its a whole system that works only when all components are working. |
Oduduwaboy: This struggle for relevance in the health sector by paramedicals in the health sector must stop in other for peace to rein.Very wise decision indeed make government sit up by making sure patients die nation wide. Make government sit up by sacrificing lives of the unfortunate and vulnerable Nigerians. The wisdom of Doctors!!! |
Really Is it really Educated illitrates as some claimed??Ok cardiologist prescribe drugs so that the patient doesnt die. Pharmacist cancel/modify prescription for what ever reason (maybe also for patient not to die). Doctor then go on indefinite strike for this reason so that patient will ....... I dont get this!! Their mates worldwide are making breakthroughs in medicine all over the world they are here being consultants on strike and specialists on strike. |
treasuredbytemi: NO Nigeria is not a failed nation but alot of Nigerians are failed people... Greedy at heart. What do doctors have to do with medical lab instruments? Why in God's name should people who are supossed to be very passionate so concerned about themselves. Check out the pay of all medics and para medics you'll find out that we are blessed.@bolded Beats immagination. and that is good enough reason for lots of patients to lose their lives?? They are taking this too far!! |
The Rivers State Police Command has said it has arrested the Leader of the state House of Assembly, Hon. Chidi Llyod, for the alleged murder of Police Sgt. Urang Obediah and Mr. Kingsley Ejeuo, his kinsman and arch political opponent. A statement issued by the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr. Ahmad Muhammad, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), yesterday night said Lloyd was arrested on his way to the Air Force Base airstrip to escape justice. The statement said Lloyd had last Monday, while pursuing Ejeuo, knocked down Obediah, who was trying to stop him, killed him and went ahead to crush the Volkswagen Passat car Ejeuo was driving in and also killed him. Muhammad said the police initially thought the incident was a mere accident, which ought to have been manslaughter. He, however, said the police had to change their mind when the Commissioner of Police, Joseph Mbu, directed the Area Commander, Metro Police, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Aliyu Garba, to visit Lloyd in his hospital bed and commiserate with him. He said, conscious of what he did, Lloyd relocated to another hospital when facts emerged that he (Lloyd) drove a bullet proof vehicle, while pursuing the late Ejeuo and in the process knocked down Obediah, who died on the spot and moved ahead to smash Ejuo in his Passat car. According to the PPRO, “Late Mr. Kingsley Ejeuo, who hailed from the same place with Hon. Chidi Lloyd is believed to be in the PDP camp led by Mr. Felix Obuah.” He said: “While being guarded by four policemen in his hospital bed, he (Lloyd) sneaked out through the hospital’s back door and was driven in three tinted bullet-proof jeeps and escaped.” Muhammad also said: “On receipt of the information of the escape of Chidi Lloyd, the Commissioner of Police, CP. Mbu J. Mbu, directed for a thorough search on all jeeps, while the CP himself personally drove to the Air Force base, where he met Governor Rotimi Amaechi and a private jet waiting for take off. “As soon as he (the police commissioner) alighted, he saluted the governor, the governor ignored him and showered rain of abuses on the commissioner of police but the CP kept calm. Unfortunately for Chidi Lloyd, the eagle-eyed police patrol vehicles intercepted him and the CP was informed immediately and he left the Air Force base to his office, ignoring the abuses from the governor. After waiting in vain for Chidi Lloyd’s arrival, Amaechi boarded his jet and took off in anger.” When contacted for his reaction, the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the governor, Mr. David Iyorfor, said: “It’s most preposterous and outrageous for the police to say that. Escape to where? Does it make any sense to escape from Port Harcourt to Abuja? Is Abuja not within the Federal Republic of Nigeria? It’s a blatant lie.” Lloyd was at the centre of the fracas which broke out in the assembly on July 9, 2013 when he used the mace to break the head of one of the anti-Amaechi lawmakers, Hon. Michael Chindah, an incident that drew world-wide attention. http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/police-arrest-rivers-assembly-leader-lloyd-for-murder/167901/ |
