For now the consulate is facing backlogs which made them to stopped receiving visa applications on Fridays

The issue with delay in your visa applications or response after interview and the normal processing time is due to the backlogs due to some diplomatic reason I can’t share some stuff here about what is happening in the consulate presently because Brasil is one of the easiest visa to get if your docs are intact and it is straightforward to apply

You can withdraw your passport anything you want without mentioning that but know this, withdrawing your passport is automatically denial to your application so I will advice you send a mail and state the reason why you are taking your passport (which is delay in their response, which is normal) because of your future application

if you want to apply now especially if you are preggy I will advice you to wait till 2nd week of next month by that time things will have been better.

A bonus info for you guys, some visas will be out next week so If you have been waiting luckily your application might be among

I won’t advise to take the risk of hauling your whole family of 5 to a studio apt in Brazil when you haven’t found your feet yet.

It’s a new country to you. Better you get a hang of the place alone before bringing over the rest of the clan. To be honest, a new place is not always easy. Establish a source of income before bringing them over otherwise you’ll burn through your savings like wax to fire.

I doubt the agent will even rent a studio to his family size. Renting a place in SP is not child's play except you are lucky or you see a Brazilian that will stand as guarantor and that won't be for a studio/Kitchenette to a family of 5

Sao Paulo is a nice city/state. The cost of living for an individual per month could be between 1250-2000 reais and for a family of 2-5 persons; 2000-5k reais.

It will be difficult to get a job as a tourist, it is even difficult to get a job with residency document if you don't speak Portuguese

the application is in two parts: Online and offline so you will upload and still submit your documents either in person, through someone else or by courier

They accept Business name, Just go with the certificate and the registration data documents that you got when you registered the business

I read somewhere, someone said six months. I am not sure though. If your status changed since you applied or if you can clarify the reason for denial then I believe you should be able to put in a new application.

New day, new question. I like your zeal sha. Some people have entered Brazil by land while some by sea. Most Haitians and Venuzuelans followed the land root and some Africans landed at shore but you know these journeys are risky so I'm not recommending either path.


Someone suggested to you what to do. Build your account for some months and then give the application a shot.

It's the stamped days that counts. If the PF stamped you in for 30days then count 30days from the dated stamp.

I have not received the passport yet. It is is supposed to be mailed to me,as I sent in my application via DHL and included a self addressed envelope.

I just saw that the approved sign ( ✅) had changed from blank to green when I checked on their portal yesterday night ,around 10pm.

I am Trying to find out from those that have gotten visas in the past if the approved sign changing to green indicates that I have been issued a visa.

I normally check the status of my application everyday, except on fridays since they say they don’t work on Fridays,therefore wasn’t expecting any change in my application status. just decided to check yesterday night and was surprised.

The “ready for delivery” icon is still blank on the portal.Hopefully my passport will be mailed to me next week.

Approved status should mean your visa has been approved.

If you included a return shipping label then I expect them to use it to mail your docs back to you.

Yes, base on my travel experience. Any multiple entry visa, you can enter as much as you want for the duration of the visa. For 3 months visa they usually give between 15day - 30days entry stamp at the POE.

Lets assume you even enter when your visa remain few days to expire. You will still be given 30days.

Gurus in the house will also contributes.

Check the stamp on your passport, how many days was stamped on it?
