The Brazil application is straight forward and you don't need any agent to help you with anything because they have no upper hand when it comes to aoplying for Brazilian VIVIS... I can see most of them have stopped advertising it on their IG pages too.

I wanted to use apsom then someone here told me that they've casted so I paid consultancy fee of 10k to wakanow and then they sent me same form that I already downloaded free from the Brazilian embassy site na so I vex start my application on my own.

Just gather all documents as listed on the site.

Fill the online and offline forms
Compile all your documents which should include:
Valid international passport
6 months bank statement with reference letter address to the Brazilian embassy
2 passport photograph
Original documents of your business documents or
Employment letter, pay slips, leave letter
Letter of introduction
Flight reservation
Hotel reservation
Go to Stanbic bank and pay 36k collect teller
Carry all the documents to Brazil embassy within 10am to 1pm Mondays - Thursday.
Submit

Unless you are a minor (under 16 or 18), there no need for birth certificate. There's equally no need for:
Land documents
House receipts
Tax clearance
Family pictures
Travel pictures
etc.

Hello Everyone,

I have been a silent reader, read every single page, i have a question to those who got invited for interview weeks after submission of documents.
Is it that you and/or your spouse submitted via courier and you were not physically at the embassy for submission when documents were submitted.

@afelouz @aumeehn
It's advisable that you and your spouse go to the embassy to submit your documents together.

They really want to see that the woman is not pregnant because Brazil embassy do not grant visibly pregnant women Visas.

It's the Nigerian staff that collects your form they then minute on it after submission. I don't know what they write on the forms but my guess is that they do that to point out who submitted the docs and their physical condition(s).

The interview is conducted by a Brazilian staff and it's from the interview you will know ur faith cos it's really brief and straightforward. The point of the interview is likely to establish your physical state especially if they feel your purpose of visit is for child birth at the time you submitted and to know your true intentions for visiting Brazil.

If a man applies with valid documents, enough travel history and adequate financial capabilities I don't think they would invite him for interview because they do call Banks to verify account statement so they could easily verify your work or company documents as well.

Is there any other means to contact you?

Will like ask few personal questions if you wouldn't mind.
You're new to this thread so I'm cautious.

If it's about the Brazilian visa application enquiry all FAQs answers are on this thread, I can give u pointers to where to look or whose post to read if you mind.

PS: I've read the this thread 3 times from beginning to end, last time was after I got my visa to know what's next.

You can start asking the not so personal questions first for us to know what you're about.

Thanks

They have the shortest flight time and their price makes sense.

By being unprepared maybe they where on a budget so you can't stay if you're going broke already.. They didn't have some documents in hand etc
That's what I thought too when I saw that question. I just wanted clarity.

Thanks.

Truly one needs to prepare properly for an extended stay cos having to pay monthly rent for additional months after spending ur budget on childbirth and to do all these without working or having access to public funds na to rush the next flight to MMA2 after collecting the baby's passport o! PR should wait before person 'je gbese' grin

The translator will be in Brazil?
I think so, there must be agencies that carry out that function.

If it is done outside Brazil then I think one would have to notorize it.

I feel most people don't really go for the PR tho, due to the language issue and all they just want to secure the child and they fall back after birthing... How about your friends who applied hope they made it through are they citizens now? The wait is not easy o
I've quoted you twice to ask a conscice question and at both times you've ignored the quotes. Kindly check ur mentions again. Thanks
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Brazil by TechSpot: 1:09am On Dec 20, 2019
Adjo10:
Good question. Naturalization requires you to have PR. The only exception is if you have lived here continuously for 15 years. Applying for PR requires you to provide specific documents, translations and legalisation. If not well prepared, this can take you an eternity. So ultimately, you are delaying your naturalization process by delaying your PR. Note that, the number of years required for you to naturalized starts from the date you receive your PR card and not from the day to entered Brazil.

Secondly, after PR there is a language requirement to naturalization. If you don’t plan well, you will spend 10 years here without getting to the required level for naturalization.
The question you answered was asked after you said your friends that recently gave birth in Brazil would experience delay in their PR application cos they came unprepared.

What do you mean by that?

By being unprepared were they supposed to come with so documents or money or test or report, etc?
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Brazil by TechSpot: 1:04am On Dec 20, 2019
juliusocean:
You talked about the legalization but
That translation part how does it work we're hearing that for the first time..
She'd talked about the translation/translating too. Since Brazil is a Portuguese speaking country all documents have to be translated to Portuguese by an authorized translator

Fiyinfoluwa20:
Hello Justwise, plan on travelling in the second week of January for 6days leave days.

Can you please assess sufficiency of funds(financial capacity) based on the information below:

monthly take home is in the c.250-300k range
Disposable Income = 300k-50K = 250k
Account balance I am applying with 3 months statement(750k balance) and 3/6 months payslip
was in the UK on a Tier 5 Visa in 2017 came in on VISA commencement date and left on Visa expiration date

Single 26 y/o
been at current work for 2yrs+
Budget is 680GBP(c.318 according to Oanda) vs salaray account 1,600 account balance(750k)
Flight 510
Transportation 40
Feeding - 80
Shopping (chocs) - 20
Misc - 30

Accomodation is to be provided by my sister who has a residency permit.

Does the above show sufficiency of funds ?
750k savings and u want to spend almsot half of your savings on 6 days vacation.

-Your budget is unrealistic cos feeding @ 80GBP for 6 days won't work. My friend in London said one should budget at least 20GBP per day for feeding. Since your sis is responsible for ur accommodation you can say she will be feeding you too.

-You are a 26yrs old single guy so u have to present more ties to your home country especially knowing ur sis is also there on PR.

Also, if your disposable income is 250k and you're presenting a 6 months bank statement how come ur closing balance is 750k in 6 months? It is either your closing balance should be more than 750k or your monthly expenses is not as presented.

Hello house,

please i need help with answers to the following questions:

1. Will a husband and wife apply separately(individually) or together with one as the principal and the other attached/dependant?

2. Will both husband and wife individual SOA be included in the application?

3. What about a situation where only one spouse can provide a salary account statement with pay slip but without significant account balance, while the other spouse without a salary account statement has a very significant account balance? Will both accounts be accepted individually or collectively for an application?

4. If a wife delivers without the husband present with her in the country, after formalizing baby/babies citizenship, will wife and husband acquire PR together or just wife? If just wife, how will husband acquire his?

5. How long after delivery will baby/babies acquire citizenship and parents acquire PR?

6. How long after PR will parents qualify for citizenship and passport?

7. Is travel history very important for both spouse to obtain a visa? Or Can the travel history of one spouse cover for both?

8. Which destination(s) can serve for a good travel history?

Please answers to the above questions will really help and be appreciated.

Thanks in advance
.

You didn't read this thread if you did you won't ask this uncountable questions cos most/all of your questions have been answered by Her Excellency Adjo10.

Due to the idleness worrying me today I will try to answer some using what I read from all the contributors to the thread. I answer thus:

1.) Toksvik recently applied for himself and his DW and he said he paid tourist for himself and medical visa fee for madam. He applied together and submitted for both of them. So u can apply together but don't apply for medical visa.

2.) I think Yes, not sure though.

3.) I don't know what will work in this case but I think the one with more fund can be primary applicant while the other account owner will support.

4.) Adjo10 wrote extensively on this and she mentioned a XI visa or so. Incase the father wants to visit after having a child who is a citizen, the Visa will allow the father travel and start his own PR application. Check Adjo10 profile and go through all her post.

5.) Within 3 months except something something happens or you dey Sao Paulo or any other busy cities.

6.) Underfined; because you need to learn and speak Portuguese, meet some criterias like living in Brazil for some period, pass exam, etc.

7.) What God has joined together Brazil Consular won't put asunder so I don't think it matters.

8.) Answer this one yourself. Kilode! :

9.) Miscellaneous

10.) Omo! you be questionnaire on ur own.

Ire o!
