Did you call them? I applied first week of January. I will give till next week. By Friday I will collect my passport and cancel my flight reservation. My leave expires by 20th.
If you applied first week of January then you should be patient. Truth is that Brazil visa application is not processed urgently and they don't have a priority option so you just have to be patient.

Reason this, this is early in the year and there are no festivities going on or any global public holiday celebration like Christmas, Easter, etc so applying as a Tourist at this time isn't something of urgency as you can tour Brazil in March and you will still see the same thing you want to urgently see in January so they wouldn't really treat your application as urgent as you desire at this time.

So I can only advice you to calm down if you really desire Brazil for childbirth and let them do their thing. If your funds are genuine, your documents are authentic and you appear as a real tourist then they will give you the visa.

The only clause is if you are visibly pregnant as they will tell you they usually don't give visa to pregnant women and having a big Belle don't shout your are pregnant so don't let your growing belly put much pressure on you. There are lots of pple with big bellys just wear the right cloth when going for interview.

Okay guys stay away from royal air maroc am talking to the women especially maybe the guys can risk it unless you are Arab and can speak Arabic fluently.
The aircraft was weird no charging port old ancient movies food was okay with zero leg room
Luggage was well handled and the VO @GIG didn't check my return ticket I almost cried lol I blame Samuelsoma lol one last thing I thank God for Google translate...
It's good to know you had a sweet experience at the POE...

I reviewed most of the airlines before buying ticket and the review on Air Maroc was their flight attendants are hostile and they usually lost passenger baggages or they delay it for 2days or more... Since they didn't lost your bags I would say your own was better.

I wish you safe delivery and your child will become another Brazilian legend.

Have fun and I wish you all the best.

PS: check your mail

Good day House,, pls is their anyone that submitted since first week of December because mine is still showing under review.....
You could go to the embassy and ask the guys that collected the application why is your application still showing "under review" despite it passing 21 working days... Sometime they send interview mail but you might not be sure the email you entered so you're checking notification of the wrong email or they misspell your email when sending the interview email (this happened to me) and you end up getting no mail so that could be the reason aside other factors that can cause delay.

Also your application details like reason for travel, Itinerary details, ease of verifying bank statement, urgency or the trip could determine how fast they treat your application. Some of the reason why your application is delayed could be from you, your bank or them so just try and visit the embassy to know why.

Pls I need someone to properly explain disposable income to me well cus all search that I've done on Google n quora isn't explaining it best to me. Thanks
Disposable income is the money left after you have remove your monthly expenses from your monthly income. So if u earn 200k monthly and your monthly expenses total is 50k then your disposable income will be 200k - 50k = 150k. The 150k left is ur disposable income

So they didn't see your Europe travel history to consider that you're a frequent traveler?

Those UK ECOs are really annoying. Apply to SA and visit CapeTown or Go to Sao Paulo or Floripa in Brazil and enjoy your money.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by TechSpot: 10:12pm On Feb 05, 2020
msbaileyz:
Hello house,
I have a refusal based on paragraph(s) 4.2 of appendix V, that is the refusal was based on the inflow of funds in my personal account. The ECO stated “both bank statements consists of several unexplained deposits and transfers from unknown source.
Both accounts are Gtb savings and Stanbic mutual funds
I had submitted
* my work documents (salary reflects in my account on a monthly basis)
* my registered business name cert as I am also an entrepreneur (event planning on weekends) it was stated in my application that fees are mostly paid in my personal account.
* introduction letter and copies of clients invoices were attached (invoices funds reflect in my account statement)
* gtbank statement and ref
* Stanbic statement and ref
And other documents
The challenge here is that, from the response from the ECO, he/she is satisfied with everything but my source of funds.
1. Stanbic investment has been for over 6months (3.2m in May 2019 and 800k in July 2019)... This was a gift and I’m wondering (would it be better to add a deed of gift to back that up)?
2. Then for the huge funds from my business, would it be better to add the event planning agreement? And a letter explaining other inflow like money from family and friends, sale of unused household items and the like?
Lastly, is it advisable for me to reapply immediately? and what’s your advice about how I should go about explaining?
Your refusal letter is similar to mine... UK ECOs are so so lazy, they won't go through the statement to read the transaction description or do a thorough job to check if truly your explanation for the source of funds tally with what is on your bank statements. They even used the same phrase "unknown sources" they used for me for you.

If you have more documents to proof the ECO wrong you can reapply cos that's what they really want (they want to chop double application fees). So don't waste your time complaining cos they won't reverse the decision rather they will suggest you reapply. They are after the application money.

If you are really seeking a vacation forget the UK, apply to European countries, South Africa or Latin America they will gladly give you visa with this your account balance. That's what I did. I don park UK for one side

they're asking for payment how do i proceed
I haven't used this carbo Verde airline so I dont know the payment options on their site but you can check if they have the option to book only

Or

Go to Ethiopian Airline app or website, search your flight, fill the forms and choose to pay later. It will give you a booking reference and also a printable confirmation page.

Download cheapflight app on playstore, input the destination and travel dates, from the search result follow the deal site and make a reservation or visit any of the airline website like South Africa Airline, Ethiopian Airline to reserve a flight.

I guess there's usually mistake in the odd before u see such cancellation.
Same happened to me on 1xbet .
It was an handball game @ Half time Argentina was 30 vs 0 up to Bolivia.
And Bolivia over 0.5 was @1.6
And 1.5 @ 4.75.
I quickly placed the bet . + Hull over 6.5 corner @1.25.

And I shared the game here.
After full time I checked the result only to find out the Bolivia game was settled refunded and only the hull city game was won.
I was so disappointed.
So it think the was a mistake In the odd provided by d bookie @ that time.
Did u check other bookies to confirm the odd the gave for the option u pick?
I did not play an Inplay bet, it was a pre-match bet and such event do not contain errors as it is a US NBA game, it is as popular as an English Premier League game and no bookie can claim an EPL match odd contains error.

On the game you played on 1xbet; 1xbet successfully scammed you if you did not request them to settle your bet because for Argentina not conceding in an inplay handball match at half time (that is 30mins of play) then the odd is very correct cos if they can keep a clean sheet for 30mins then they can keep a clean sheet for the 2nd 30mins as odd rises in live games and for them to be able to not concede after 30mins there's definitely no proof that they will concede 2 goals in the next 30mins of play thus making the odd to rise to the odd you booked the bet which is definitely correct.

BusinessRe: Football (+/Other Sports) Betting Season 14 by TechSpot: 9:35am On Feb 04, 2020
Betpawa.ng refused to settle winnings for a bet I won on their site instead they only returned my stake and tagged a won bet as "CANCELLED" stating incorrect odds as the reason.

The bet is a premium and popular USA NBA game between San Antonio Spurs and Charlotte Hornet, Fulltime Total points including OT over/under 223.5 market at a odd of 2.4 for under 223.5 points including overtime. We know the NBA is a high point league so this market is not incorrect for this match as the line includes overtime. The game ended 114-90 points which is a total of 204points scored thus making my under 223.5 point bet a winning bet but to my surprise they did not pay my winnings.

This is the 3rd time betpawa will cancel a won bet this year 2020 stating the same incorrect odd as their excuse. I did not take the previous cancellations up because they were Cyprus league games which I know is an unpopular league and sometimes odds on such unpopular leagues could be palpable because of having little records on such event but this particular cancellation is an obvious scam because there is no way odds on a USA NBA game can be Palpable as it is a first class league and very popular. Odds on popular leagues are carefully vetted before release so I disagree with their reason of incorrect odd.

This is clearly a fraudulent action carried out by www.betpawa.ng (Calgary Online Limited), they can not be allowed to cheat bettors and only settle bets that go in their favor.

I have mailed them and I also chatted with them on whatsapp but they are adamant on not settling the bet as a won bet and paying my winnings dragging that their terms allows them to cheat customers whenever they want.

I have had several losses on www.betpawa.ng which they will take my money and not write incorrect odds even if the odds dropped after I registered the bet, once the game loss on their site then is perfect but once it wins it becomes incorrect. This is a clear fruadulent action and I will like everyone to be aware of this betpawaNG scam.

www.betpawa.ng is now a scam and they only settle bets that favors them and will cancel any winnings whenever they like.

Everyone should take note

I don't think they will accept his application o shocked. Infact, I have a friend who recently applied with a business name and they didn't collect her application. They requested for articles and memorandum of the business and its only a Limited company that has that so, they might not accept the application of someone with an unregistered business.

dehiero, You can register a new company as TechSpot suggested, it might look suspicious but it can fly OR get an introduction letter on the letter-head paper of the trading company who pays directly to your account. That can serve as where you work aswell as your source of income.
I'm just looking at his options... If he's done his business without a business registration then getting one now to apply already tells a story that's why I suggest he goes as he is.

There's more to the story of the person they refused his application cos of business name registration.

I don't know if it will.

You can apply as an unregistered businessman. Make sure you get reference letter from your bank when you go collect your bank account statement. They usually verify bank account by calling the bank.

Please help readers
Do you have a registered company or business name registration?

As an entrepreneur or self employed person, you are expected to present original copies of your CAC registration documents when you submit your application

So if either you or your madam has CAC registration documents then that person having the document should stand as the principal applicant and sponsor the trip but you will both submit your savings account to show your financial capacity.

Alternatively, if you don't have any form of business registration just write a formal letter introducing yourself as an unregistered businessman and explain your situation.

This is Wrong sir.

Land Use Charge and Tenement rate are the same.

It’s called Land Use Charge in Lagos State.
It’s called Tenement Rate in most of the other states, if not all.

Both are taxes for lease of the land from the Owner (the Governor) or (Minister in FCT) - and they are TO BE PAID BY THE LANDLORD, not the Tenant.
You're the wrong one...

Land use charges applies to all lands owners with exception of entities or people that are excempted from paying rents e.g. religious lands or lands owned by pensioners while
Tenement rates are paid on land leased to another person.

Landlord or occupier
occupier could either be the landlord or a tenant so write in clear terms.

land use act - Land owner
tenement rate - usually factored into rent in most cases. It is similar to how VAT is factored into purchases.

Yes, Air Maroc does not need a transit visa.

I read airline reviews before I booked my visa. Since you're pregnant you have to ask the air maroc about their restriction on pregnant women. My friend told me not to try Emirate airline cos one would need some documents to fly after 28weeks why some airlines would permit you to fly till 36weeks without any documentation.

if you both are applying you can attend the interview alone maybe but if she's going alone can she show up with a baby bump for the interview??
That was my point...
I'm sorry cos that wasn't my intention so I edited the post.

The purpose of the interview is to observe if the woman is pregnant and to be sure if you are genuine tourist so the man can't appear alone at the interview. He has to go with the woman.

If the woman is applying alone she can show up with her first trimester bump as that is still child's play when compared to some men's beer belly.

In all honesty your reply to the list of documents submitted was too cold. If you will take time to read through all your post you will realise you've gained more from here than you have given back.

I was here when you kept asking for solution to your friend's applications before it got to yours.

This thread has helped you with more than one visa application and now is your turn to give back but you were reluctant and that's not fair

Kindly mentioned the guy and post in details what you feel made your application scale through. Things like someone already listed which are:

Employment documents or source of income

Investment if any

Ties

Itinerary

Account opening balance/closing balance

Proof of funds/earnings,

Budget for trip

Source of funds for trip if coming from other sources other than your savings/earnings

If you're using an invitation or you booked an accommodation

Etc.

This visa thing is tricky as we both know. I applied in November and was denied despite feeling I had a good chance of getting the visa. You giving out this information could be the solution to a lot of us that got denied.

So don't feel like getting your 6 months Visa is the end of your application, you might still come back here to ask question about renewal or applying for 2yrs like @skrskr is doing presently.

Don't get carried away my friend

Adjo10 has greatly helped people with her knowledge, freely dishing them even when unsolicited. You can see a genuine happiness to liberate others.

Yet others on this thread who are less committed to helping people but more concerned about showing off how informed they are readily jump out like class prefects to prevent further enlightenment.

Aside my question 1,
Please can you show me ANYWHERE on all 44pages of this thread where questions 2, 3 and 4 of mine were answered as those were specifics to my case?

To think that just in December you too were asking dumb questions about language and jobs.
I guess you hadn't created your selfish Rule of reading from page 1-44 then?

Please Juliusocean, if you do not have my answers or do not want to help, kindly go back to selling maps to tourists in Togo while praying that your asylum is granted rather than make every one who asks for guidance appear lazy to read.

Afelouz got his visa yet asked a few more questions...does that mean he didn't read?

I specifically did not call you to help considering your haughtiness and penchance to scorn others; something you and a few others have not even tried to hide all through this thread.

Chriscole any news?
Have you gotten your visa..Please keep us updated
Your questions didn't come from a clueless person but still you didn't need to insult him for suggesting you go through the thread. Answer to some of your questions are already on the thread that's why it's necessary to read and reread, you will notice that each time you read the thread you will find something new you previously omitted or something you read and forgot.

Samuelsoma has answered most of your questions so I'll just add small input.

question regarding minors:
Since the minors are your children and they will be accompanied by their parents therefore they won't be need for any consent form, you only need to include their birth certificate with their application.

Question regarding submission of application:

You can waybill your application through any authorized courier coy and it should include a return waybill slip but I will suggest you submit in person if your have the resources to do that because that improves your chances of getting the visa by over 50% as the admins will minute on your application the state of applicant at point of submission.

That's all.
