1. It was a part of the whole law given to ONLY Isreal in the wilderness.
2. It din't ascribe any clothing to men, for example in many Nigerian culture the men wear skirt, tie wrappers, wear gowns etc. in Scotland, the traditional wear for men is skirt.

The doctrine has wrongly ascribed trouser to man's "type" of cloth and also forgotten that was part of the law to Isreal in the wilderness. It actually was instructing WIVES not to use their HUSBANDS clothes with the intention to be seen as a man and vise versa for men.
