Good but it's not so special as some APC e-warriors are feasting here.
Even terrible PDP governors like Uduaghan did more than this.

PoliticsRe: El-rufai - Buhari Has Nothing To Offer, He Should Retire by TechyGuy: 11:18am On Aug 20, 2013
This may not be as much indictment on Buhari as it is on El-Rufai and APC.
El-Rifai said this years back, today, he says Buhari is the best man for Nigeria.
What has happened between when he said this and now? Oh! Yea! El-Rufai changed camp!
PoliticsRe: 2015: Buhari, Tambuwal Divide APC by TechyGuy: 1:40pm On Aug 18, 2013
Candybob: if he betrays APC it would be because of Buhari, that guy should let somebody else fly the flag. You think Tinubu has no ambition to be president too, but he is willing to sacrifice it for the greater good, thats the mark of a true political leader, why cant Buhari do the same? Buhari is part of the old stock, part of the army arrangement(Bless Fela) that we need to sack!

I had this problem with ACN during previous elections, first that crooked Atiku, then that lousy Ribadu! ACN always picked up vagabonds from PDP and promoted them as their flag bearers! Why cant they present credible candidates from within their folds, somebody who is part of the vision and understands what their party is about? We dont want some disgusting appendage of the PDP like Tam neither do we want Buhari...

APC should present electable candidates because i am yet to see any!
As much as I don't like Tinubu, I mus commend him for the ability to sit back and rather play a father figure, grooming the younger generation. The General is not the same, he doesn't even believe in those he has "raised".
The same would be the undoing of ACN, and the entire SW. Buhari does not trust or believe in anyone.
That's the same reason he left ANPP he founded.
PoliticsRe: 2015: Buhari, Tambuwal Divide APC by TechyGuy: 1:21pm On Aug 18, 2013
Billyonaire: So, APC is shopping for Tambuwal, a PDP member to come and be their Presidential Candidate ? So, the entire members of regional ANPP, ACN and CPC could NOT have a single person to give them victory. Such a shame!

I advise Nigerians searching for an alternative from PDP to embrace PDM. An alternative has been created for those who feel the name PDP isnt sounding sweet.
Thank you.

Is this not an indictment against the Fashola praise singers and the entire SW-APC.

I thought Fash is the best thing that happened to Nigeria in recent times, and ACN was the most successful of all the parties in the merger.
After all said and done, they want to outsource the candidacy to PDP bred "common" representative of a community cum Speaker of the House of Reps who before now was unknown to everyone.

This news must be false, right?

Gbawe: Shut up and get lost. Failure to prove your case now makes it clear what you are. A shifty, lying and small-minded nuisance. If you don't see me going out of my way to praise the PDP do you see me denigrating what is clearly innovative and developmental from their administrators? You are not even bright enough to know there is nothing wrong in not singing the praise of the PDP. I don't have to !!!!. What would be wrong would be if I was always badmouthing developmental things even a child will admit is progressive for stakeholders and lying against PDP administrators!!!!

Also, do you see me sitting in thread of States I have no connecting with and nursing an obsession for contributing only negative things? . Do you see me ever rounding on and insulting indigenes of States I have no connection with on this forum? Dude, just get lost. I don't need another small-minded tw1t, with issues and a chip on his shoulder, following me around NL.
Okay, I agree, you CANNOT SING PDP's praises but can do APC's.
You also CANNOT OPENLY CRITICIZE APC when they are wrong but can do that to PDP, right?
I don't know how many intelligent adults talk like this. I have related with a lot of them over and over.

I don't have anything against your person, you may as well dissociate your real self from the moniker Gbawe so you can stop being bitter.
I just don't agree with the hypocrisy I see on nairaland daily. I speak in generic term.

Lastly, Gbawe keep quiet!
The people you are attacking are only doing what you and your paid laptop critics do all over nairaland when it is about PDP or other parties.
Curse words and hate speech does not vindicate anyone. It will only dig the pit deeper.
If he thinks I'm wrong, he should have showed me posts where he commended good policies of GEJ or PDP and posts where he criticized bad policies of APC. If he does, I will apologize and move on.

Though I'm not pro APC, I commended Amosun for the idea, and will do same if it is achieved.

I am not from SE really, so don't be too hasty and narrow minded.
Nairaland can vote any body as best poster but an uncouth, untamed supposedly grown man? Check his posts on this thread alone and show me anyone that is directed at an opposing opinion that does not contain hate speech or curse words or racist speech. Almost none.pocricy
I don't have anything against him in person as I don't know him personally, but what I attacked is the hypocrisy I saw towards people who do not agree with his position. Yet I see all that everyday on any pro-PDP thread from APC critics.
If he can prove my previous post wrong, I will apologize here, on this thread.

The antics of these blind haters is especially condemnable and deplorable because these SW Governors are factually some of the best performers in Nigeria currently.

You are obviously a paid Etisalat staff.
Let me inform you, Etisalat sim is on my table. Why? It doesn't even show network signal in my modem, just "limited service" most times.
PhonesRe: MTN Blackberry Internet Service Down!!! by TechyGuy: 3:42am On Aug 17, 2013
Reflex123: Seriously you guys need to slow down! Any little thing you start saying MTN is this and bla bla.... Guess what; the reason for BB service not working is not because of power outage but rather fiber cut along Lekki axis(and by the way fiber cut is mostly caused by road construction or outright vandalism by unknown persons and depending on the severity, it may take up to or more than 24 hours for it to be resolved). Yes, MTN service has been poor of late but must you come here and talk trash all the time? I am aware that other telecom operators are also having issues with their services so why the so much hatred towards MTN? Even the almighty NCC; the telecom regulator and other government agencies sanction and fees levied against MTN is always discriminating compare with other operators. So why the hatred? Time will tell and before you say "do you work for them" read my lip if you can.
Leave these kids talking trash knowing nothing.
Over the years I have come to the knowledge of fowl play by the smaller telcos.
MTN will not vandalize their own facilities.
Just recently, NCC banned MTN's N6 tariff. They have repeatedly ban promos.
In my location, Eti and Airtel are crappie. Glo and MTN are really fast. They can get up to 3mbs when downloading. Glo however is expensive for the fact I can't use their BB plans on pc and android.
I would like to see others improve here though, it gives me more options. But for now, I'm cool with MTN.
And for the records, porting is free, I don't understand why those complaining are still using MTN.
PhonesRe: MTN Blackberry Internet Service Down!!! by TechyGuy: 9:45pm On Aug 16, 2013
From the kind of posts I see here, it seems that Airtel and Etisalat are the ones sabotaging MTN's efforts and investments just so they can gain customers. I got info from customer care that it is multiple fibre cuts, which means it is vandalization of MTN facilities.
First, it was the same Airtel and Etisalat that complained to NCC about MTN's N6 tariff, and today I have to call for N9/min. Later it was MTN promos they went after.

I have tried to call all day from my glo line but, no show.
Etisalat and Airtel doesn't even show signal in my modem, so I don't know what y'all are talking about mentioning them.

Glo is the fastest as far as I know but MTN is cheaper (I enjoy their bonus when I subscribe to data bundle and also use their N1000 BBC on my android device).
I have my Etisalat and Airtel sims on my table lying dead. I am waiting for when they would start investing in COVERAGE.

And for the novices out here that make noise about Airtel giving 1GB for N1200.
Subscribe for MTN BB day, use it on your modem (wifi hotspot from your android) or android phone and download as much as you want.
Use the Data Usage menu on your android device and the Statistics menu on your modem and you will realize that the data is up to 3GB, for a day!!!!
That is 3GB for daily or weekly or monthly!!!!! I have personally tried all these plans and measured the data used.

So much tribal hatred and bitterness for EVERYBODY; SOUTH EAST, NORTH, SOUTH SOUTH AND EVEN SOUTH WEST, as long as you don't agree with them, you are an enemy. It's really not an Igbo thing, it's against anybody that does not share their BITTER, DISGRUNTLED, DECEPTIVE nature.
That's why they will insult all PDP leaders and look for some like Amaechi and support. Insult Igbos and look for the Rochas, insult even a Yoruba man that does not agree with their hypocrisy and desperation.

Let me sit and watch where it will get APC. I pray they survive though so PDP will always have run for their money and deliver dividends of democracy.

His dream of national politics beyond National Assembly has been flushed down the drain.
No number of arrangee repatriation to SW states will remove the scars of arresting people, declaring them destitute, hold them hostage against their wiil and without any court order for months, and deporting them like criminals with armed guards, living them by 3am at another bridge in Onitsha.

APC e-warriors are on every thread fighting for Amaechi and Rochas.
It's amazing how naive this so called warriors are, you want to cajole or force the people of these states to accept your opinion of their sons?
The more you try, the more difficult you make it for Amaechi and Rochas.
And I'm in Lagos and can't avoid all the pot holes, bad roads, agbero, Toll fees, lack of pipe borne water, extremely high fees in LASU, lack of adequate housing for the masses after 15yrs of ACN in power, etc. While Tinubu is making his daughter Iyaloja of market women and buying up Lagos.

The e-warriors are from South West and North, yet they know more about people in these states.
What next, organize a solidarity "We are behind you Rochas" match in Alausa?

Edo state is APC and they will still vote for GEJ in 2015, after voting for most likely an APC governor because of their love for Adams. That is what Tinubu should be worried about not Imo and rivers who you have zero to -&(minus infinity) chances of getting their support.

Funny set of people, lol.
You guys should do better, instead of deporting South Easterns to Osha head bridge in the dead of the night like thieves and kidnappers would do, why not relocate some underage almajiris to SE, SS, MB, Edo/Delta, so you can have some votes in 2105?

PoliticsRe: Documents Show Lagos Informed Anambra Government Before Alleged Deportation by TechyGuy: 9:27am On Aug 03, 2013
We were treated like criminals in our own country—deportees
Speaking with Crime Guard, the deportees expressed regrets that a thing like this was happening in a country they were citizens. They accused KIA officials of carrying out indiscriminate arrests of non-indigenes of Lagos, adding that majority of those detained in various local government cells in Lagos State were Igbos.

According to one of the deportees who gave her name as Rosemary Nathaniel, a native of Ubakala in Umuahia, Abia State, “I was neither a beggar nor a hawker for the past five years I lived in Lagos. I was working at a T-shirt weaving centre at Mile 2, Lagos and I lived with my sister. But in January this year, KAI officials and some policemen arrested me and my friend while we were standing and discussing on the road. We were dragged into their waiting vehicle and taken to a prison at Alausa area of Lagos.

We saw other people who were also arrested . They took us round the area, made other arrests before taking us all to the prison.

The painful aspect of it was that they never bothered to ask any of us where we lived or what were doing for a living. As I speak, my sister whom I live with does not know anything about my whereabouts. It is so sad that this is happening in one’s own country.

Another deportee who identified himself as Osondu Mbuto, a trader from Ohaozara in Ebonyi State said he was arrested by KAI officials while on his way to his shop on December 18, 2012.

He lamented that since his arrest, he was left incommunicado for eight months in a cell around Ikorodu area of Lagos before he was brought to Onitsha.

“I am a Lagos-based petty trader. I packed my goods somewhere and went to eat. As I was going, three persons approached me . Thinking they were miscreants on a mission to dispossess me of my goods, I decided to give them some money. Then, all of a sudden, I saw an armed policeman pointing his gun at me. he ordered me to follow the KAI officials. Out of fear, I joined them as they marched me into a waiting vehicle and drove away”.

“My initial suspicion was that they were taking us to Alausa police station, where they used to detain people unlawfully only to release them later after parting with some money. But no! they took me to another place in Ikorodu, close to Ijebu-Ode. After taking my statement, they pushed me inside the cell where I was, for eight months.

Two days before we were deported, a man whom they called boss came with a paper and a biro and said those of us interested in going to our home town should put down our names. Some did while others did not for fear that they were going to be killed. That was how we were sandwiched inside a truck and brought here at the wee hours”

One dead, others unconscious
As at Monday, this week, only five of them were left in the one-room apartment at the stadium. Their identities were given as:Friday Ndukwe from Ohafia in Abia State; Grace Igbochi who claimed to be a Lagosian, Ugulari Tutua from Warri, Delta State; Chinyere Nocholas from Awomamma,Imo State and Rosemary Nathaniel from Ubakala Umuahia,Abia State.

A member of the NRCS and Education Officer attached to the Onitsha South Local Government Education Authority,Mrs. Nneoma Judith Nwora, disclosed that one of the deportees died Friday from a protracted illness, adding that the five remaining deportees comprised two males and three females.

Three of them according to her, were unconscious at the moment, adding that some Rev. Sisters from nearby Madonna Mercy Convent had indicated interest to come and pick them for feeding and medical treatment until they recovered and were fit to go home.

Reactions trail deportation
Reacting to the development, the South East Zonal Red Cross boss, Katchy, described the action of the Lagos State Government as condemnable, adding, “it is very despicable and disheartening that a state in the Federal Republic of Nigeria will bundle people who are in that state, who are not indigenes of Anambra State, and dumped them under the fly-over bridge at Upper Iweka in Onitsha and left them to their fate.

Most of the people interviewed are not even indigenes of Anambra State. Some of them are from Ebonyi, Imo and other states.

This is an insult to Anambra State. We shall draw the attention of His Excellency, the Governor of Anambra State, Mr.Peter Obi to it, and ask why such invasion in his territory and we will find out why Lagos State should invade Anambra State territory by dumping people here helplessly.

Also, in a communique issued at the end of the general meeting of the Onitsha branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the association insisted that those deported be recalled by the Lagos State Government, threatening to take legal actions against Lagos State government if such exercise was carried out again.

The association also appealed to the Anambra State government to come to the assistance of those affected by providing means of transportation to them to enable them go back to their various states of origin, even as it called on the Federal Government to call the Lagos State government to order.
The Lagos State government has however debunked allegation that it deported indigenes of Anambra State, clarifying that it only carried out a rehabilitation and resettlement of citizens from other states.

(Vanguard)
If the information above is true, I don't understand what the Igbos are waiting for before suing Fashola and Lagos state.
This is fascism in Nigeria against Nigerians and not just the East.
Imagine if every state decides to do same, what will become of the nation called Nigeria?
