Did you have a date scheduled before. I have sept booked but been looking everyday to reschedule to an earlier date but seeing later date instead. Could it be that my view is streamlined to later dates only because I have a date picked already? coldsummer: This was in abuja. we kept looking for dates and did not see. The ones we were seeing last week was for Sept. 2021 and suddenly i opened the portal today and it was there. 4 slots waiting and i picked the 11:30 |

Renew your passport before your interview and go with both passports. New Passports always carry previous passport no so it doesn't matter they will see the previous passport no in your passport. I have same issue with my son and when I called them this is what I was told. All the best! bunu234: Please I have an issue. Paid the US visa fees in Jan, after filling the form, kept looking for dates, I couldn't get, till last week when I got an appointment for August. My passport expires in Jan 2022 and you know the US embassy says your passport must be valid for at least 6months. Should i renew my passport before my interview? and how can I change the receipt to carry the new passport no? please advise. thanks |

People have been seeing appointments in Abuja in the past weeks. Its possible it has been exhausted. Just keep checking. I saw someone states earliest appointment in Abuja is now December.
Like I said, keep checking. All the best. |

As it stands. I got an appointment for 3rd September for my children. Hubby and I have a valid visa that would expire soon. I have used mine once hubby hasn't used his. Was hoping I could get an appointment earlier than Sept so we can take our kids on vacation before our visas expire. Been checking, it seems to be going further down the year. This is Abuja by the way. No appointment in Lagos

Thank you so much for your response. Lekiboboe: In my own opinion a PG. Cert or Post Baccalaureate Diploma in a Business related Program is what you should go for owing to your Salon-Spa Beauty Business u are into since 2015.
You might not be able to address the educational gap & work gap cos 2004 & 2011 is a long time, a Visa Officer might assume you have bin away from academics and work experience relating to ur degree for a long time now
Since u are going for a Program not related to ur degree, the information in the link below will be helpful (colleges offering PG. Cert/Post Baccalaureate Program In Business) https://www.nairaland.com/5818588/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/212#92606921 |

Hello gurus, please ohhhh I still expect a good feedback from you all. Biko don't be silent on my matter I am trying to get transcript from my uni and I need cogent feedback to know where to send it to. Thank you in advance. Tee1583: Hi everyone, I am a newbie here, and I have been reading up on the thread. They have been quite insightful. Please I would appreciate if I can be guided in my decision making.
Here is my scenario
I studied chemical engineering with a 2.2 graduated in 2004, worked in an oil servicing coy as a process engineer for like 7years. After which I didnt do anything for like 3years. I started a beauty business in 2015, Salon/Spa.
I would love to do a postgraduate program in canada.
Now my real question is which pgd is advisable to go for with a high probabilityof admission and Study Visa?
In chemical engineering field or in business management? Betterstill any other program advise?
Also I would appreciate suggestions on which province has high visa approval and suggestions of colleges I can apply to.
I would appreciate your kind responses. |

Thanks alot for a swift response. Yes it is registered, in 2016 I look forward to hearing from the gurus in the house pls. I am planning for fall next year. @lekkiboe @frankrobn1 @qudkom Chocs: Hello,
You can stick to a business related course. As this is more recent. It could be said that you want to learn how to properly manage your business. Hope your salon/spa is registered with CAC? That would make it a lot better.
There’s no province with higher acceptance rate as far as I know. If you do your homework well and package your application well, you’ll get the visa.
@lekkiboe will tell you some courses. He’s our guru for that
Best wishes |

Thank you for the response. mommatriplets: 6k is gonna be tough, most sstand alone docs charge 3k to 4k....hospitals charge 4k to 6k, then epidural and other orishirishi.... try piedmont atlanta and wellstar cobb. it would be cheaper if you can get your own doctor that has privileges' at good hospitals.
houston or chicago has cheaper birthing rates |
