One thing i want to know is how do the NJC conduct its investigation? we already know how DSS does their own(breaking and forceful entry at 1am) because if NJC did their work very well they will know judges living beyond their means and even having huge sum of money in their private abode which is money laundering which is a crime enough to remove any judge from the bench, not to talk of putting the judgement they give under scope and review.

Facing the the threat is not only the solution to end terrorism acts but facing and attacking the source of the terror(in this case Libya arms and ISIS terror support)

It is better to keep quiet and let people with intellect and capacity to carry and dissolve issues in write up do justice to the news rather than come online to embarrass yourself by making comments so diminishing of your grasp and medulla setup.

CrimePolice Parade Masquerade In Kogi by teeboila(op): 10:24am On Dec 09, 2015
Nigeria Police, Kogi State Command, yesterday, in Lokoja, paraded 21 suspected criminals, including kidnappers, armed robbers and others said to have been terrorising the people of the state in recent time.
Among those paraded was a ‘masquerade’ who during a festival, stabbed one Ishak Yusuf to death.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Williams Aya, who paraded the suspects at command headquarters, said: The ‘masquerade’ (real name, Shaibu Musa) of Okene town in Okene Local Government Area of the state and eight others (now at large) conspired and in the disguise of celebrating Ekhechi masquerade festival brought out the Obiede masquerade to terrorise the people. In the process the ‘masquerade’ engaged the deceased in a fight and stabbed him to death.”
Aya, however, said although the suspect denied taking part in the fight during which the deceased was killed, he admitted that on the said date, himself with his colleagues attended the Obiedu masquerade festival at 11p.m.

Frivolous petition or social media bill what is important is the content of the bill cos we all saw the bill and what it said was that frivolous petition emanating from social media or print media is culpable of been indicted.

Saraki should not try to play Maradona or form holy because we know he's going to be one of the first and great beneficiary of the demonic bill if pass to be a law because of the numerous allegations against him either from written petition to the cct or the one from Sahara reporters.

PoliticsRe: I Can’t Be Bello’s Deputy, Says Faleke by teeboila(m): 9:54am On Dec 08, 2015
macof:
Inec didn't need a supplementary election, cus the election was already won by Audu/Faleke
A supplementary election was not needed to declare Faleke the Deputy-governor-elect, which after the death of Audu makes him the governor-elect
Audu/Faleke never won any election.

The election contested between Audu/Faleke and Wada was inconclusive(no winner) because the margin by which Audu / Faleke were leading with was 41,000 and the number of registered voter in the pending polling units was 49,000 but the number of people with PVC in the polling units is 25,000 but inec and Nigeria electoral act does not recognise PVC otherwise it'll be we're conducting an electronic voting(which is not permitted in our constitution yet) as a result in the eye of our constitution Wada still has a chance to win the election because 49,000 is more than 41,000.

If following our constitution Wada can still win the election by winning the supplementary election how then can you say Audu / Faleke has won the election?

The term 'inconclusive' concludes the whole case as the election is determine to be inconclusive it means there is yet to be a winner and Faleke proclaiming himself as Governor elect is a fallacy. how can he call himself governor elect of an inconclusive election it's very clear the guy has lost the case before even going to court.

Come to think of it nobody cast their vote for a candidate(or is there any candidate name on ballot papers) so the vote cast belongs to the party until a candidate is sworn in to take over the party's winning vote (having duly won the party primary election) and Bello is the winner because the leading candidate is no more, hence, the runner up automatically becomes the winner because there is no provision for a new election to be conducted.

I'm not Bello Yahaya's lawyer but i know that Faleke case lack merit neither that of Wada so i just don't see Bello been unseated.

Look at the issues identified critically and comment with facts and points and don't just wail thinking anybody can make Faleke the governor here on nairaland.

Comments are welcome.

I agree with d senator. imagine someone playing with our national security by publishing fake news and video to promote d activities of Boko Haram
The weed you smoke is definitely from afar probably Jamaica otherwise how can you say you support the Dundee head senator.

If the stupid law has been in place how do you think the lamorde abacha loot scandal would have been expose? or don't you know the Senate probe emanated from a petition but if the petitioner is asked to go and swear an oath in the court or threaten with jail time or 4 million naira fine do you think he'll still have the same determination to continue with the petition?

Of what essence is libel and defamation suit if the stupid bill is made into law? After all you sue whoever has made defamatory allegation or comments against you as provisioned by the Nigeria 1999 constitution as amended.
