If not that you said fingerprint on the front i would have suggested Google pixel 2xl. Its beats iPhone x in camera

Your best bet should be the original pixel. Pixel xl..4gb ram 32\128gb rom the best camera phone 2016. Android 10 etc

Of course the better phone here is the s8+.
I use a redmi but there's no way I'm picking a 2020 budget over a 2017 flagship. The difference is so much

Water resistant
Wireless chart
Far better display (Qhd compared to Fhd) and amoled compared to cheap LCD screen.
Don't just let the amoled screen of the s8+ break
The only thing the redmi note 8 is better is the battery and will get android 10
But if it were personally,I will pick the pixel 2xl. This phone was the best phone in 2017. And the camera,is just out of this world

Don't expect a smoothness like the flagship devices but it will be very good. At least better than the likes of most Tecno and infinix devices

Chipset are important no doubt but you made it sound like ram are of no importance what so ever. Thats why I asked you to clarify what you meant. Its funny you went for a 4gb option for the sd730 why not compare a phone with sd730 and 2gb ram (or better yet 1gb ram since rams are so insignificant) with sd665 with 8gb ram. As insignificant a role you think ram plays. Its still very much relevant when discussing about a phone, but agreed chipsets are where attention should be paid the most.

I'll choose A13 bionic paired with 2gb ram over sd665 paired with 8gb ram

Xiaomi for example is a good brand but I haven't be convinced about their camera quality at night and a good battery life
