Farmerforlife: Please has anyone worked with Stanbic ibtc stockbrokers and/or mutual funds, any experiences please? Not too satisfied with my current stockbroker, planning to switch over to them. Thanks. i work with them. you need an initial deposit of 5M to trade with them. their online trading platform is not like Morgan capital and the rest. i have morgan capital as well and i have pulled all my fund out from stanbic. just peanuts remaining there for them and transferred to morgan. its left for you to make your selection. he good thing about Stanbic is that they can sell some kind shares that is hard to dispose off |

If I may ask why do you want to pull out from Morgan. I thought they had the best rate for charges. I don't know abt CSL and Meristem for real time trading and rates. BUT I use stanbic (new to real time trading) and their rate is high. Also I use morgan.. don't hv much complain abt them. Pls tell me more abt CSL and meristem |

Bagco has returned money for the shares a long time ago. Also flour mills is not handling that any more. You have to go to Meristem with your query. i collected my money from them, some months back. cheers nathoneal: PLEASE GURUs
I bought Bagco shares 2008 under (Flourmills registrar), since I bought the shares I have not receive any dividend.
I became serious about my outstanding dividend recently, so I contacted the Flourmills registrar via phone which I got from their website and I was told by a lady who answered the call, to send an email application requesting for the outstanding dividend to be paid to my Bank account, which I did.
No reply from them yet, and the phone number which I called earlier is always busy anytime I remember to call.
I plan to visit lagos soonest to sort it out, I need advice on how to go about it...
Thanks |

sky2891: 2016 Q1 will have an improvement over 2015 Q1 and Q2 come July will still surpass 2015 Q2. I believe this is why FBNH is delaying their result to release 2015 full year result (not too good result) alongside 2016 Q1 (improved result) with atmost few days gap. As for N2 come June/July, I doubt due to good Q1 and Q2 results expected by FBNH new management team. FBNH is currently harnessing every means of making profit even to the extent of charging savings accounts used in business transactions instead of using the normal current accounts of which I believe most of us were charged; making all their subsidiaries patronize each other to make sure business does not leave the holdco, to mention but few. I believe the new management is on track to making First first above others or meeting up with the banking sector leaders. Let us remember that Operational expenses has been the issue with FBNH and I beleive the new management will not leave that unaddressed. This is just MY view. FBN charged my savings account oo... If I was not vigilant I will not have known oo..saw a funny debit running into kobo cos I only use atm to withdraw I knew something was up.. |

ExLaidback: Are you saying if someone who qualified for say Zenith Bank dividend, should walk in there now, the cheque would be ready for pickup? So soon?
Otherwise is it still possible to process ediv mandate for them? Since they've already paid the bank transfers.
I sent them a mail since last week, yet no response. Yes. Or you can complete the e-dividend mandate process. Your choice. I collected my own for Veritas since I have only one stock with them (zenith) But am processing e-dividend for other registrars |

Chibuking81: It's always good to receive dividend before the companies directors, by paying yourself. The question is how do you pay yourself dividend, the answer is that you can do that by cashing out before the closing of the company register, because immediately after the closing of the register, mark down will follow. Some stock might lose times two of the declared dividend immediately after the mark down before stabilizing. Sometimes if you want to follow this formula don't wait till the last day to bail out, because there will be traffic due to people that want to bail out before the mark down. But if I may ask I thought if you sell before close of business on the closure date for the shares you will not get paid any dividend. so you can only sell on or after the last day if you want dividend. pls correct me if am wrong |

Car Talk › Re: How To Apply For Tinted Glass Permit From Police by teeboy95: 10:27pm On Feb 28, 2016 |
adeyemik: I had the same issue, applied 6th of Jan, anytime I checked the status remains "Awaiting Approval". Fortunately, I travelled to Abuja and decided to go to the Force Headquarter to know the reason or reasons for the delay. When I got there, I was told that they had some challenges with the server and they are working on it. And once the issue is fixed, my the application would be approved. True to the officer's words, I got a call from him four days later that my application has been approved.
If you want to see corporate police in Nigeria, please go to the Force headquarter in Abuja, from the entrance gate you're accorded due respect. When you meet the officers manning or in charge of the biometrics, they all well mannered, educated, and people friendly. Infact, they address you as Sir and Madam.
I asked him to give me reasons that may cause one's application from not being approved.
1. If any of your particulars are fake - proof of ownership and insurance (the insurance that is accepted is the Online insurance) 2. Fake plate number - To verify whether your plate number is genuine or fake, right in my presence, the office connected to the FRSC database to check whether my plate number was on the FRSC database or not. 3. When the attached document is blurred. 4. I think the address you filled while applying for the tinted permit as a role to play because the office asked me my address, checked it against what was on the application and against what was on the FRSC database. I'm not too sure of the role it plays but was asked. 5. If your biometrics was not well captured in the state command
If during verification, all you documents are valid, the application would be approved within 48 hours, but if you default in any of these, your application will not be approved and the will forever in Awaiting Status, your best option will be to find your way to Force Headquarter in Abuja because the officer at the state command cannot resolve such issue.
Thank God, immediately I got back to lagos, I went to the uncorporate police headquarter of Nigeria(Lagos state Police Command) to pick it up the tinted permit, from the entrance gate na embarrassment, to Oga I no see your hand. pls which insurance do you mean by online insurance |
