masterminds:Yes, they were fair. I applied for Lead, compliance and not Lead, Compliance management. I believe they were 2 separate roles |
Ochosteve08:Hi! Please do you have an idea of what an SS3/SS2 annual package is at NNPC? Will it be up to N30m gross per annum? I also got an invite for an interview; Lead, Compliance. |
Dappa123:Bruv! While I agree that a lot of people will not come out to attest that they have received APL but at least ONE person should have. FIRS conducted a recruitment last year without any affiliation to her name. They used a credible hiring firm and when people where called for documentation in the middle of this year, a lot of people on nairaland mentioned it. So what type of recruitment is being done by NCDMB (whose recruitment was published in a National Newspaper) for one person here not to out rightly say that they have received APL? This is a faceless forum, if I receive APL i will say it with my full chest. IF NCDMB withdraws my APL for something as trivial as me mentioning on a faceless forum that I have received their APL, then they are not as stellar an organization as i thought they were(and they are being fvxking petty). Organizations that pay 3 times what they pay have concluded recruitment and it has been mentioned on nairaland and no one was punished for it. Kilode! |
leks4sure:Thanks for the information. Is this for both GTs and EHs? I find it quite astounding that a recruitment exercise will be completed solely on a test that was practically unsupervised and was seemingly compromised since people were writing the same test days later. For EHs especially, no interviews? Kindly confirm if this is for both GTs and EHs. |
SatB:Thanks bro. I had that intended ab initio. Well, I do not have a source, but I do have a theory about the recruitment. Normally, government recruitment are usually mired with external influences from politicians and whenever such recruitment is completed, APLs are more often than not distributed first to these influential persons either through their sponsors or directly. However, they are usually informed to keep it secret until maybe perhaps the rest of the APLs are distributed to the merited few. Maybe, just maybe that is what is playing out here. Perhaps, the actual merited few(Both GTs and EHs) will be receiving theirs in the coming weeks. This is just a speculation though, I do not have a source. |
MrsABK:Thank You for this bit of information. I hope it is legit and wish all EHs success in the coming week. I have a question for the house, if any one could indulge. During the requested upload last year, can anyone remember if we were requested to fill in our phone numbers? I am in a bit of a fix, the phone number on the CV I uploaded is currently void and unreachable. Just wandering if NCDMB decides to communicate via phone calls only, I may be screwed. ![]() |
Newcastle2023:Thanks. i'll be sure to join in. |
Newcastle2023:Hello Newcastle. i know you usually have credible information. I want to ask, do you know if Experienced Hires have been contacted?. So far the information of APLs being distributed has been for the GTs. Do you know if they have commenced APL distribution for EH or if at all it will be completed(NNPC comes to mind). Kindly respond if you have information on this. Thanks. |
burantashii:Okay, if you say so. I just find it strange that EHs will be issued APL without interviews. Unless of course interviews had been held in weeks prior. This must be the most secretive conclusion to a recruitment I've ever witnessed. E be like secret cult...lol. |
2el:Please do you know if it is for both GTs and EHs? |
Seems it is only GT thus far. May EH favor us when it starts. |
OptimusPrimee:GT or EH. Please clarify. |
I'm getting close. One day I will bleed Alabi real bad. B9QB6858590857C-6576071 |
It is quite sad how lowly this thread has been derailed. More surprising however is the audacity that so many on here are having of recieving APL. Well it is quite possible that a lot have very strong connection but for those who do not, i implore you to do whatever you can to get in touch with who you can, your LG chairman for a start. My assertion is that majority of these comments are by GTs ready to explore their various careers and I wish everyone the very best, in this recruitment and other endeavours. But please, a piece of advise, do keep your options open as not everyone would be taken. If you hold on to this mentality, it gets easier if it doesn't turn out as expected. Now to reality, this corporation's recruitment is arguably the most sought out by all and sundry in this country. Little wonder it garners so much attention. Truth is recruitment in this country is very competitive education-wise, so the position you are jostling for has others with probably better connections, qualifications, experiences et al. In essence, you may require more than just qualifications to secure the job (grace, connection or referrals). Do some of y'all know that someone on NL in 2018 had stated that a recruitment would be done by NNPC in 2019? Prior to my applying for a position in this recruitment process sometime in march, someone had informed me that it would be concluded in August. Truth is a lot of well connected people were privy to this recruitment exercise even before it started. I come on this thread from time to time to corroborate some information which is most times laced with irrelevancies. We will all do well to keep this thread back on the right tack. I was told the APLs would be sent in 2 week's time barring unforseen hitches. Till then, reach out to who/what can assist in securing the job. Above all, be humble. All the best. |
skana28:Indeed, I wish this were true. However, I noticed while at the amphitheatre that there were ghana-must-go bags of files for the candidates that had been interviewed. One guy was just lifting and arranging 'em files as though he was preparing them for storage. Unless theere' some kind of system application NNPC adopted for this recruitment exercise that electronically sorted our results based on the aforementioned criteria you listed above (this could be plausible if the secretary for each panel was indeed inputting the relevant details for each candidate during the interview), i fear the final selection may be based solely on the interview performance which is rather jejune. But then again we all have to respect the recruitment process and hope for the best, |
For a brief description of a compensation analyst functions: "In the recruiting industry, a compensation analyst is a specialist in employee compensation like salaries and benefits packages. These specialized human resources professionals are highly trained in labor costs, salary analysis and benefits structures. Compensation analysts use metrics and models to understand current salary trends and predict future trends. A compensation analyst can work with recruiters and other HR professionals to help develop compensation plans and ensure that employees are getting fair pay and benefits for their work. Compensation analysts are generally employed by recruiting firms or organizations as part of a human resources department. For recruiters looking to expand their skill set, compensation analysis can be a great addition to general recruiting knowledge and make a recruiter more competitive in the job market" Apparently seems they handle salaries/compensation of employees. Perhaps people receiving transport fares from the compensation analyst were the successful ones. Another theory. |
For those doubting the OVDI, you may do well to keep abreast with the previous thread on this company's recruitment. It follows the current pattern that plays here. https://www.nairaland.com/3829939/shell-nigeria-graduate-recruitment-2017/84. There are 3 outcomes from the test; a regret mail, a pending mail and a success mail; the 1st and 3rd likely to be received some 48-72 hours after the test. For the 2nd, my guess is that it is dependent on the availability of space for the role applied(Shell almost always applies a first come, first serve basis) more often that not regret mails are sent later. I wish everyone the very best. |
Hello guys, first time to comment. As much as i feel the pains of those waiting for a break through, i implore you guys to look ahead, perhaps to the supposedly next DPR recruitment scheduled to hold later this year. i had similar experience with NLNG graduate trainee recruitment where we waited for closure for 4 years. It did make sense that no established company would recruit a graduate trainee after 4 years, rather they would go for hands-on experience. Would DPR still recruit same set of graduate trainees 3 years after inception? practically, i really don't think so. However, for the sake of those who painstakingly underwent the recruitment, i hope so. This is Nigeria, anything can happen. In conclusion, i'd advise 90% forgone conclusion on this recruitment and 10% hope. Wish everyone the very best. |
Hi everyone. Is there anyone here that was interviewed for Supervisor field Auditor or Materials Auditor EH? |
