3. Deal in buying and supply without storage This is a method where you buy the grains in northern state and supply to market in southern state. You don't need any contact or storage, just go to any market in southern market e.g bodija market in Ibadan and talk to any hausa man there that you can supply him beans, they will ask you to bring it and pay on agreed price. For example; I met one guy in Niger state in January this year, the guy was an undergraduate student in lagos, this guy would buy 20 to 30 bags of beans and supply to one alhaji man in bodija market, that alhaji will help him sell the beans and send him the money. so if he supply alhaji 30 bags of beans, he makes 3k profit on a bag of beans, so 3k * 30 = 90k profit per week |
I will continue my analysis when I get back from Adamawa state for those who called me that I should continue, |

For all my research so far, I have come to the conclusion that the North East is the largest city in Nigeria producing brown beans despite all the challenges that lie ahead. Let's not deceive ourselves, nothing is expensive in the north east, despite all the challenges the north east is facing now, other states are coming to the north east to buy goods, but it is for the fearless people because there are various insecurities in the state |
gifted21:That area is one of Boko Haram territories, even here in mubi there is curfew o, no movement from 7pm . Michika is after mubi local government |

Deal in storage and supply This is what most rich people do in northern state. They buy grains at harvest time, and store it for about three to four months, when the price of the grains goes up. However, anyone who wants to make such a business must have a lot of money because he will probably go to the market every week all the time to buy grains and keep them for storage. For example, go to dawanau market in Kano state, you will see thousand of warehouses for storage facility, they go to different market places in other states, buy their grains and keep them in their warehouse. Let me give example as current situation in the market as at now; 1. Currently beans is sold at northern state market at the rate of 50k for white beans, while 58k for brown beans, those business millionaire will go to the market buy grains and store them for another 2mth because the harvest time still very far, so the beans you buy this time and keep for 2 mths will appreciate like 8k or 10k per bag. Oya, calculate it if you buy 100bags on every week 2. As it is now, price of the grains can never crash because the harvest time is still far except maize that the harvest time is very close now, in the next 2mth now the price of maize would crash in the market |
IamAsiri:Oloodo don't have garri, Ibadan generally don't have garri except they bought it from those three places I mentioned |
cayorday89:Ilora, in Oyo state (grade b) Oyo town (grade c), and Iwo, osun state (grade a), all stone free except Oyo town garri |
Oya, another trip to adamawa state, I will update the price of grains by God grace when I get there |
Deal in retail, wholesale and storage This aspect is where you rent good location or shops, this will help you in dealing with wholesales and retails. Also, the capital will be divided into two parts, one aspect will go for retail and wholesale grains while the second capital will go for storage of the grains. For example; If you budget 500k for retail and wholesale grains, you also budget the same for the storage, that 500k will buy beans, sorghum, maize, soya beans, local rice etc. Case study of harvest time in December 2020 The prices of each grains in Niger state market during harvest time are as follows, but if you travel to northeast, the price will reduce; 1. Beans, both white and brown are 15k and 18k respectively 2. Sorghum, maize, soya beans, millet are 12k, 12k, 14k, and 12k respectively 3. The biggest bag in the market is JUMBO 6 bag, this contains 64 to 65 mudus that's 26 painter rubber 3. From each price of the grains above, you can calculate how many bags of grains the 500k will buy in the market 4. In each bag of the grains, the minimum profit is 6k per bag during harvest time 5. The second Capital that serve as a storage of the grains, a. please find a place in your house or your shop to serve as storage facility, b. buy storage bags to store your grains especially beans c. The storage facility must free from rats, that's only thing that can damage the bag because the bag has two white nylon inside the bag which air should not enter it. 6. You must monitor the current price in northern state and local market 7. After selling off the grains of the first capital, use the money to buy another grains and replace the one in storage facility, from there, you will now see the green light of the profit. |

Some people are providing tutorial on how to do grains business with fees. Theory and practical are two different things. Why do you charge fees because you want to give information? I will continue to update those market and states where you can get those grains in cheapest price. The only problem is, if you can take the risks because this life is risky itself, even Nigeria as a whole is a risky country. So doing business and taking Risk are two things that can never be separated |
izi4lyf:You will provide the storage facilities for yourself, please don't let anybody provide the storage for you because it will lead to stories at the end of the day |
matthew080:Yes but discuss with them b4 the arrival of your grains, also make sure you know the price of the grains in northern states and compare it to local market prices. |
Richardjemedafe:Please don't involve the police o, you better negotiate very well, and don't panic because the more you people calling her the more the money. If you don't call her frequently, they would reduce the ramson to 100k. For those people who are travelling in this country please no where is safe and if you are travelling follows the rules; 1. Delete all bank transaction in your phone 2. Don't use the the sim for bank transaction in phone 3. Delete all photos or anything that they would know you are a rich person or you are leaving good life. 4. If you're kidnapped, please the family of the victim should not call much because the more you call, the more they know how your personality is. |
This is not fake news, the government failed in securing life and properties in Ibadan. Every body now turn to Vigilantes in their various Street because of hoodlums may God save us in this country, not only oyo state alone https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dyqu7qpanPs |

Onlinefarmstore:You are my boss in this business, I need u to give me more information on Maiduguri because it is my next trip o In fact next tomorrow, I am going to Yobe state for the white beans and livestock and after that is Maiduguri by God grace |
mutfad:Transportation to Southwest; Niger state. 1k per bag Yobe state. 1k per bag Adamawa. 1k8 and 2k per bag Taraba state to kano state is 1k2 while to Kaduna is 1k4, Kano to south west is 1k2 in dawanau mrk while in dawakin along highway is 1k Kaduna to south west is 1k in Mando Lagos garage There is also Transportation to south west with less fare but I will not reveal it here because of the name of the truck involved. |
matthew080:I started from 3 bags but now more than 10bags from the market. I can't source for the grains at the same market, for example, in Niger state, their drum beans, red sorghurm, egusi, rice are cheaper in their market, while in Yobe state, their white beans are cheaper also, taraba state, their maize and soya beans white sorghurm are cheaper while Adamawa and Maiduguri has cheapest oloyin beans, maize etc |
For those who are calling me or chatting with me about the grains busines, I will give you one secret of the business and if you adhere to it, infarct you will enjoy it. 1. If you are interested in the grains business and you want to start, please prepare yourself till harvest time which are as follows; a. Beans. Nov/Dec b. Maize. Sep/Nov c. Sorghurm. Nov/Dec d. Rice. Oct/Dec e. Egusi. Aug/Sep 2. If you're budgeting like 500k for the business, please sources for another 500k making 1million, reason is: If you use that 500k for the market you want to sell, you will use the 500k for the same goods as a storage, by the time you finish your market, the one in the storage will come out for sales and replace the previous money you realise to buy another storage 3. Try to monitor the price of the market always includiing your local market and northern state price market because northern market are the big player, if their market price increase it will increase in southern market. |
