Yea...some aspiring to study a course in SEET will be bounced to SOS while those for SOS may be given courses which are listed or not listed in COC...

Hold the side you want to copy..a toast will pop out listing everything, just choose select or select all, then copy...

If you can’t refresh your UC download link or continue download after download fail, follow the simple steps below.

First of all >>> Exit your UC browser.

Now, go to UC browser download folder.

Note: the download folder is named “UCDownloads”

In the download folder, there are two files: the main downloading file and a temporary download file with the extension .dltemp

Now, copy both files to a different location

Have you done that? If yes, open you UCBrowser and restart the download.

Pause the download and minimize your UC browser >>> open UCdownloads folder and delete the two new files downloaded.

Now, simply move the files you copied to another location back to the UCDownloads folder.

Maximize the UC browser and un-pause the download, you will see that it will start from where it stopped, in other words, it will resume the previous download without stress.

Just add "." at the back of the folder name e.g ".pictures" and the folder will disappear. to unhide it goto the option of your file manager and tick "show hidden folders" then you can remove the "." from the name.
Interesting part is, the hidden files will also disappear from the gallery

Nb. Doesnt work with stock file manager

The process is so long you'll waste up to a month on it if not more than dat sef, unless you know someone to speed it up for you...after that you'll be updating your details frequently in every course you'll be offering in d new dept unlike others..and many more like that but all the same, every stress you go through is for the Good

I think I'll stay in science if I have to change course, so I can attempt to switch to, CSC in 200l.
E no easy...i can't even think of another credible course to switch to.

Nice decision bro but i pray the give you your preferred course in d next list bcoz d course switching thing has many complications...

For me most mtk devices don't carry any special feature (tecno and infinix) and qualcomm Is super fast when it comes to speeed + multitouch on my phone it can recongnize up to 8 fingers while most mtk are just two fingers... #TeamQualcomm (Samsung)

The worst thing is no course can be compared to Csc in anyway to even be considered when I fill the coc form.
I'll just pick met and mat engr or industrial physics I guess. Hopefully I'll get admitted. (Who knows I might just get Csc at the end)

Then write another jamb if I can and choose UI or UNIPORT or any fair school with sane cut off (and come to think of it, most courses are 4 years in other schools instead of FUTA 's 5 years, so no year lost).

But I MUST be admitted to FUTA first of all!

As far as i know, we all dat made csc Supp. List last year runz it one way or d oda even after having good aggregates so "your bolded" can only work if you do the same even though you have to waste money on COC form.....

Pre-installed malware found on Xiaomi, Huawei and Lenovo smartphones

It has already been known that every smartphone manufacturer ships their end product with some bloatware however finding malware on one is very dangerous for the smartphone owner. A recent research found that as many as 26 different smartphone models are being shipped pre-installed with malware. Security firm G Data has uncovered more than two dozens of Android smartphones from popular smartphone manufacturers — including Xiaomi, Huawei and Lenovo — that have pre-installed spyware in the firmware.

A study conducted by G Data shows that mobiles shipping with pre-installed malware has increased by about 25 percent in Q2 of 2015 compared to the first quarter. The study shows that smartphones and tablets from Chinese brands Huawei, Xiaomi, and Lenovo were discovered to have apps modified to spy on its users or to insert ads.

G Data is the same research company which last year disclosed that the Star N9500 Smartphone had capability to spy on users, compromising their personal data and conversations without their knowledge.

Christian Lueg, the spokesperson for G Data said that the malware was injected by a middleman. Their efforts to find the source lead them to China, thereafter they lost it. “We lost the trail in China,”he stated.

A total of 26 smartphone units were discovered to be carrying a malicious software right before the consumer acquires the device.

The pre-installed malware is installed disguised in popular Android apps and can not be removed without unlocking/rooting the phone since it resides inside the phone’s firmware.

“Over the past year, we have seen a significant [growth]in devices that are equipped with firmware-level [malware and spyware]out of the box which can take a wide range of unknown and unwanted actions,” Product Manager Christian Geschkat from G Data said in a statement.
