Mobile dev is interesting. Start with cross-platform languages like (react native, flutter, and maybe ionic), then transition to native languages(kotlin, swift), don't waste much time with java.
some 3 years ago, you'd hardly see a flutter ad online but since mid last year, flutter ads are littered all over the web, and it pays well if your negotiation skill is tight. you might not get a kotlin or swift job as a newbie, reason I recommend starting with cross-platform apps.
Lastly, for Android, don't play with jetpack compose when you start native development, it's the next big thing, but xml is very necessary if you want to work on enterprise apps. For IOS, Uikit is a must for enterprise apps, you can also play around with SwiftUI till it gains acceptance |

ClixMaster: Why ? What should people learn instead? for a mobile dev, learn dart(flutter) first, it's very easy...you can easily move to languages like kotlin, java and swift after this for a web dev, start with javascript and then it's frameworks if u want to go the JS route...or rather PHP for datascience/ML, start with python and then end with R language Python is not that easy as people hype it, has a lot of weird syntax. |

Sheriman: No, they are not similar. Data structures and algorithms will help a developer to write readable, efficient, clean, lesser and concise code. It will be difficult for your website or Application to get crash. It makes you understand more about the language. It will make your code nicer. Company requires a developer to understand data structures and algorithms and they take it seriously. Knowing it will make a person to develop a scalable website or application with greater functionalities. Kotlin, JS and Swift are similar |

Hmmm, I doubt it, even a year you are still learning and you keep learning plus enough practicing practicing and practicing except you want to become a quack developer who will be doing copy and paste of other people's codes |
Programming › Re: Urgent!!! Pls Help A Frustrated Friend!! by teewhydope(m): 5:26pm On Sep 21, 2021*. Modified: 8:42am On Oct 19, 2021 |
Sheriman: Does your friend like solving or tackling problems? Because that is what coding is. You have to be consistent, serious about it and dedicate much time to reading and practicing practicing and practicing writing hundreds lines of codes on your PC before you can know and fully understand how the basics of the language works and become good at it. Writing codes is something you have to fall in love with no matter how you encounter difficulty on your journey. It is a long life learning sojourn even if you're very good at it. You keep learning new framework, tools and new technology. Did you know Google has introduce Open GL, Machine Learning and Artificial intelligence to enhance the development of Android Application? These are another new tools and framework. The introduction of these new technologies will help developers to develop new greater Android Applications with advance functionalities that will solve human related problem in this kind of technological age we are living. So my friend I really understand that you're new to sitting for hours and writing codes on your PC please!! don't be a lazy developer cos you will not achieve anything if you're lazy. Programmers are problems solvers so you have to subjected yourself to challenge which will make you to learn more. I code for 12 hours a day. I'm an Android developer though still learning the basics and synthex of the language. I want to fully understand everything about all the basics. Am not in rush to go to Android Studio for now. Am currently using Intellij Idea to practice. I love to write in Kotlin because you don't have to write bunch of lines of codes before giving you what you want unlike in Java where you need to writes 50 lines of codes of the same thing. It is a language that makes developers more happier. My friend if you really want to become good at anything you just have to sit up and buckle up your bet. Happy coding!! |

Grandlord: Great bro. I believe you've really grasped the authentication, cloud messaging and firestore aspects of Firebase.
Kotlin should take you max 2 weeks to really learn the syntax and the Kotlin vocabulary...since you already know Java.
Other technologies are core Android stuff. I'd suggest you look into Jetpack Compose as it's going to replace XML for UI design, going forward.
Master the MVVM architecture pattern, as that's the official architecture from Google. You can also learn design patterns like strategy, observer, facade, and factory because they're commonly used in app design.
Google 'android Kotlin fundamentals codelabs' and get to learn from the official Google tutorials so you can learn the latest stuff from the horse's mouth. honestly, i only just moved back to native because of jetpack compose thingy, xml can be frustating. All my native android projects going forward would strictly be jetpack compose and kmm. kotlin is interesting |

qtguru: This is what I am doing and my reason it might make sense to you. In my case I know Java somewhat
I want to start with Flutter because of it can port the app easily since its rendering the UI, at some point when you need to extend Flutter maybe expose more Android API, then you can gradually be playing with Android because you would need to study the API if you want to create a plugin or so, and Gradually enter Android Development , however you will face another decision battle, Java or Kotlin, KMM or just only Android Kotlin, then what happens to IOS ? Nobody can escape Native Android because in Hybrid you will always need to expose something. you're right. reality begins to set in when you need to integrate a native sdk or write platform specific code. its always good to get familiar with java and it's environment before moving to hybrid. I'm a flutter dev though |

TheHulk616: with all the hype, darkseid did nothing. Imagine darkseid first appearance, was him getting stabbed and injured.
Later people will come here and saying darkseid is more powerful than thanos. Thanos in infinity war defeated his opponents and again in endgame, thanos defeated his opponents in all physical fights. But darkseid cant even pass the amazons who can be easily killed with a bullet. faulty analogy, didn't he kill a lantern? that was uxas, before he became darksied after possessing the omega beam. he wasn't even a new God at that time. the old gods alone were enough to defeat him |
