kjbobo: It really depends on the school truly because my school(Uni of Lethbridge) asked me if I had any source of funding in the application and I submitted the sponsor's account I eventually used for VISA application.
Interestingly,that did not stop them from giving me a full funding for my program.
So like Siga rightly asked....where you asked?

sampitts: Hi guys! Sorry It's been a while. Things got so so complicated for me, I got a little frustrated but I'm good now. CDHC wanted me to bring a new acceptance letter and funding letter for september start instead of the one i submited initially for may. I tried all I could to make sure the school send it, I was asked to apply for readmission by the school which I did. Then the delay started untill today that i recieved a news, i don't know if it's good or bad though. The news says that they could not secure funding for me for september but I'm guaranteed January and if i acccept January, they'll send the letters this week. CDHC called me 3 times requesting for the letters for september, But the school has moved it to January. I guess i'll have to accept it and explain to CDHC

I was at VFS this morningto receive my package and its a medical call.

It had instructions to go for medicals only. I am not on scholarship, though I had paid a pre-registration deposit of $2500.

Meanwhile, I av not gotten the medical instructions email from CDHC. Still waiting for the mail . If I don't get it by end of today, I'm going to CDHC tomoRrow.

dotman: Have you picked up your envelope with vfs that contains your passport? Usually the tuition instruction comes with it and if not there, then ur not expected to make the payment yet

uchi4jah: I did my medicals without passport. All you need is a valid recognized ID card. That's what I used. Then for the fee and board stuff, they requested one year tuition and board but my sponsor emailed them and that was it. When I emailed to know my status, they said all is well and that my file is under processing. That do do not need any additional thing from me. So I'm patiently waiting for my TRV.

Meanwhile I have got a class that starts today in Canada. I have gotten the material the prof shared for us and I can follow up anything even from here. Not ready to cancel the class, at least not now

Just to inform the house that i picked up my student Visa this morning at VFS.

God has used the wonderful month of Ramadan to bless me. I hope i have this same elated feeling wen my CFA result comes out tomorrow.

Submitted on the 21st of March via paper, went for medicals on the 25th of May, submitted back my passport on the 11th of June.

afinic001: You can do any of them. Rates on TBz is higher but you can not terminate it until maturity. For the booking, the next bidding date is july twenty fourth. You can call the 'contact centre' of your bank to give your instruction, they will then relay your instruction to your account officer so that it could be treated.

jennyfar: Very wrong info, I had a 2.2, so did my friend we got into University for masters. It all depends on individual applications and the schools you apply to. Though I wouldn't advice one who had a 2.2 to put all eggs in one basket, you can apply to colleges that one is almost guaranteed.

joboy834: Level A1 earns 142 net. I'm not sure of the other levels. Rumour has it dt successful applicants re much, so they are trying to use other parameters to choose amongst d successfl ones. Another rumour says pwc jst entered their Financial Year, so most of the workers re currently busy. In all, we shld be patient as we have been.
