Webmasters / Re: Jack Dorsey Tweets EndSARS, Solicit Support For The Protest (Photo) by tegafej(m): 6:48am On Oct 15, 2020
myBraine:
He's only following the bandwagon and nothing more. Jack is a smart businessman that's playing a dicey game with the collective sanity of lazy protesters.

The more the hashTag trends on Twitter, the more relevant the platform becomes in Nigeria and the more valuable it becomes in the global market. Let's keep making a fool out of ourselves while thinking that in this challenging and competitive world where trade and tech war has become the order of the day, a foreign nation will want an Africa country to outdo them in Democracy and good governance. Don't you know that once we have good and stable governance, we'll start thinking of advancing our technological feat and reach. No foreign nation currently conceives the idea or possibility of an African empire. Imagine a country like Nigeria now building hypersonic missiles, DEW, nuclear propeller and warheads? That's a bigger threat to world peace and I'm in no way in support of that.

The truth is that Nigerian youths are growing wings and they have to be cautioned on time, unless we'll have to bear the burden of living with limited access to the internet and little or no access to other internet services like the world wide web and Co.

We'll only ended up pioneering a new generation where smartphones and computers will become irrelevants. In a tech world that's currently moving towards IoT where all our electronics will become an integral part of a smart environment, which will later give rise into a smart economy. A computer OR a smartphone without the internet is nothing but an electronic idiot. We should stop the protest now so that our kids will not live to become a victim of our weird and destructive invention.

The protest is gradually snowballing into an economic missiles and it needs to be stopped.

So much words but no single sense..

I appeal to all law-abiding Nigerians to forthwith withdraw from the protest as it has been hijacked by criminals.

Let the police deal ruthlessly with any hoodlums who attempt to disrupt the peace and tranquility of Benin.

We will not tolerate any more killings of our security personnel. President Mohammadu Buhari and the IGP should do something about this nonsense before it gets out of hand.

God bless Nigeria.

Romance / My Friend Needs Advice On How To Better His Relationship by tegafej(m): 10:49pm On Aug 22, 2020
My friend's name is Tope. He is based in Ghana. He has had his fair of relationships though but he has this gf more like a fiance that he is wants to settle down with.

So they have a very serious relationship at that. They love each other; the girl literally gets sick when they have issues. However, my guy has this issue - he complains that the girl does not keep to things. Like, when cooking, she forgets the food, it gets burnt and gives excuses that she forgot. My guy has asked her to take church seriously; she starts out seriously and there and then she will stop; that she forgot that there is service. Her attitude to life is like that; her only excuse is "I forgot" and according to him, she is not working at it. The church part worries him though especially as regards raising Godly children. Also, the gf is seriously into getting married asap while my guy is still tryna find his feet. She wants a setting where they would just formalize everything and build up together but my friend is skeptical cos he feels it might slow his plans down. although, he really wants to settle down with the girl.

So basically, I told him to have a word with the girl on the issue at hand but he said the girl is too emotional to have a fair hearted discussion about everything. He doesnt want to hurt her. Also, he said that when he talked to her about the forgetfulness, she responds like being forgetful is a legitimate reason not to keep to things. Even when she promises to change, its also same story.

I tried thinking of any method but cant figure any.

Can the mature folks in the house help?

Let me still put this here!!

I'm not a fan of Buratai or a fan of Buhari!!

But I must commend this government in the fight against Bokoharam in the north East.

Before 2015 Bokoharam were strong and well equipped that no northern state is safe.

Kano was not safe... Bombing here and there!!

Kaduna, Gombe, bauchi, Sokoto, Kebbi,Adamawa, And Yobe were not safe...bomb was killing people here and there!!

They take over local governments and take full control... Displacing and bombing people in large number... There's no week we don't hear of Bokoharam attack in the north.

Even Borno the headquarter of Bokoharam is now almost free if not some villages which are soft targets

Today Bokoharam only have the capacity to attack Borno villages that are close the forest.

We northerners know that things are now better compare how it was before.

The only problem I have the with this government is their poor stragies in the fight against bandit in kastina, Zamfara and southern kaduna.

We only want BUHARI's government to do more!

Bandits in zamfara and kastina should be given same attention that was given to Bokoharam stop underestimating them...

We need more action and change of outdated strategies!

You are spilling trash

Go to markets, no social distancing yet I have never for one day seen anyone develop the symptoms.

I regret ever defending the NCDC or the FG. Everything now seems to be a SCAM though the Pandemic is real but a SCAM as the NCDC and our so called leaders seem to be cashing out with the Pandemic.

What a shame

Has this gathering not be taking place in a family setting and online via the deployment of the online church? Has gathering stopped? Assuming there was military warfare with bombs raining down from the sky and bullets in all directions, will you advocate any form of physical assembly?

Is it in any way different from this biological warfare the world is fighting at this time?

In Acts 4:30-32, the old congregation gathered, was it in a church?

Pastors have often time posited that they saw a vision wherein the good Lord revealed to them that they will address millions and billions of congregants from a single location. Don't you think that prophecy is presently been fulfiled via the deployment of the online church as such pastors now address millions of online worshippers from one spot? Is this not a church or a gathering in satisfaction of your rejoinder?

Did the Isrealites congregate in the temple in times of war?

By the way, you did not address the second and third arm of my question. Are being dodgy and cherry picking?

God bless you!

If you are waiting for peak, then you will be on lockdown till July.

What did other countries do during their lockdown?
Expand testing massively, contact tracing, strengthen their health systems, and isolate infected ones.

In Nigeria, we did lockdown for 5 weeks and so far only managed a paltry 10,000+ tests in a population of 200m. That was a very unproductive lockdown. You can't identify a reasonable percentage of the infected individuals that way, and cases will only continue to rise anyhow.

If the government is not going to do massive testing, identify and isolate most infected people, then a lockdown is just a waste of time because asymptomatic people will keep spreading the disease unknowingly, and the poor masses will suffer greatly from it especially since there wasn't even any reasonable palliatives distributed to people to ease the effects of the lockdown.

So you would prefer people go about their normal lives and see what the virus can do?

lockdown is close to 4weeks, how many people have been tested so far?

in what way has this government assist Nigerians with relieve materials?

Despite lockdown, people still moves from one state to the other

Government can't lock down people further more else unimaginable will happen

Nigerians are suffering with hunger, it's preventable if government is serious but it's unfortunate that this cursed government we have in Nigeria still stole money meant for testing people & treating people for covid 19
