Travel › Re: Help: What Does The Law Say About Adultery In The U.k? by Tegese: 4:22pm On Dec 02, 2009 |
Vicjustice: Sharia laws do not exist in the UK, so, while it could be recognised or determined as a sin, it is not a crime to have sex with whomever she pleases regardless of her marital status except: (1) The sex partner is a minor (2) The sex is done in public or in inappropriate places (3) It is done under threat (or by force) (4) It is done by taking advantage of a partner who is mentally unconscious (5) It is done with the intention to deliberately pass HIV or other diseases to her partner (6) It is done with a partner who by law is under constraint (such as a confined prisoner).
So, in my opinion, your Cousin's best bet is to: (A) Either forgive her and move on (B) Reconcile with her without forgiveness for the sake of the kids (C) Divorce her peacefully and marry another wife if he wishes: Remember, as a Christian, adultery is the only ground that gives you God's permission to divorce and marry another spouse. Please, he should remember that this is a very difficult and sensitive matter, therefore, our advice and suggestions here might not be as efficient as His own wisdom. So, whatever your cousin decides to do, let him do it wisely, not taking the matter physical otherwise, the accuser might become the accused. well sounded |

I blame all those who go back home on holidays spending money like there is no tomorrow but the truth of the matter this money was saved through out the year doing useless menial jobs don't blame anyone for them, people should take responsibilities for their own behaviour. Also, it doesn't matter what one does to make money as long as it's not illegal |

Vicjustice: Ha Siena. Long time no see. How are you keeping, has your honey-girl taken the most of you that we hardly see your break-light these days? Now, my People, i bring you update of the situation regarding UPS and my package: After many days of investigation, the "tracer request" has elapsed, and i received a phone call from UPS London headquarters on which i was informed that "the package never actually left Nigeria", and that there were fraudulent attempts of deception in which some of their staff in Nigeria gave bogus information to enable them steal the content of my package which contains my (Nigerian) travel documents with 14 visas both valid and expired ones: and also bears a Schengen state permanent residency. And now, my brother, acting on advice of our solicitor has reported the matter to the state Police Commissioner who has promised to mobilise his men to raid the office and shut down the facility while the solicitor sues UPS for whatever damages caused by this terrible acts of fraudulent which has cost us more than i can conveniently express here. What amazes me is the way they deceitfully used a bogus tracking number which makes it appear that the package arrived Ireland before it got missing, but my Solicitor was keen to detect that the tracking number shows the package leaving the city of origin, but there is no indication that it was checked in Lagos before arriving in Dublin, and there is no record that the package arrived or departed any other European airport city. (where-as, there is no direct flight from Lagos to Dublin how much more from a city without international airport). HERE IS A COPY OF UPS DECLARATION FORM AND COPIES OF MY SOLICITOR'S PETTITION LETTER TO THE STATE CP: What a shame. Nigeria and fraud! How would a company like ups have criminals as staff, when it's expected to have people of transparent honesty? This is breach of contract, and though i don't wish it, but if this sort of thing happened to me, i would make millions out of it |

solaoyebol: Hi people, A friend who presently lives in the US needs help from anyone who can, in exchange for a favour. He is a permanent resident of the US and lives there. He came home late last year, to try and set up a business outlet here in Nigeria-but due to some reasons including the sudden fall in value of the naira, he's somewhat got stranded."Stupidly" he came with a one way ticket Right now he needs to borrow N250,000 to buy a ticket and get back before March 6th when he has to resume work over there. I lent him N30,000 myself. In exchange he can do either of the following:
a) Pay you back with an agreed interest rate ( no rate is too much he says) after 6 weeks. I will stand as gurantee. b) Help you get a business visa to the US for a Business conference being organised in the US in the summer. And still refund your money.
For anyone who's interested , you can be rest assured this is not a scam. He's lived in the same house since 1993 in Lagos and his family still lives there. I will also stand as guarantee and he will be willing to show you copies of his Green Card, Social Security Card, US Drivers Licence etc.

Siena: I'm with you there.
In addition, someone with your circumstances asking for financial assistance should provide:
1) Real name. 2) Copy of passport (a risk, true, but any helper's running a risk too). 3) Details of current or last job. 4) Address in Spain. 5) Landlord / lady, or agency accommodation is rented / leased from. 6) Hospital mother's being treated at in Nigeria, or at least a doctor's report.
It may sound harsh, but a lot of Nigerians do come up with hard luck tales, some true, some fure fabrication. I too would like to help, but without the above being satisfied, I can't.
And please, don't offer to pay back any helpers - it's most unlikely everyone that helps will get their money back, if I'm helping, I'll render help based on the fact the financial assistance is a gift, and i'm not expecting to get it back.
So, it's best to appeal for the gift of financial aid, not a loan, as folk get pretty upset if not paid back. I for one would prefer to give £50 away for charity, than give £10 as a loan that I'll never get back. thank goodness, someone has the courage to state these requirements. honestly, i was afraid of reactions hence i stated the minimum requirement. @ poster, everything that siena stated here are perfectly stated, and they should be the define requirement in order to get cooperation. so, it's up to you to comply if you're for real, or desist if it's a scam. |

bilms: i think if all the anti nigerians consider nigerian to have nio good, then, they ahve to rethink.
because to me, the very best good thing a country can offer its citizen is bringing him or her into existence.
so if no other country can bring u into existance apart from our great country Nigeria, then u need to celebrate that country. and if u think u dont still see any good thing from it.
plz can u change ur country of origin? no.
there is an organization now trying to raise and fight for Nigeria.
the organization is us, the Nigerian, u can be part of it by pointing out one good thing u have ever done for this country and also u have done for ur fellow nigerian.
it is time u guys join the Nigerian Developemnt Movement and we all fight for change.
www.ndm..com
get involved. bilms: the country has already taken care of us by providing us with alot of natural resources. the almighty also blesed us with abundant talent.
but it is u and i who deprived ourself the oopurtnity to benefit from the natural resources, by not standing up for our rights.
we now sit back and watch the so called leaders to enjoy all the good things.
When u say there is no any good thing to say baout NigERia, that means including u who said it, because u are a nigerian.
we have alot of good things but need to use intellect to get it.
stand up and fight for ur right not by fighting with power, but with intellect.
Get Involved.
Nigerian Developmemnt Movement.
