Ike is the person I blame for being a fake gangster. Mercy told him yesterday that she dates sugar daddies and she is not used to love. How Ike is still going about trying to form love with someone who already told you that she dates sugar daddies, baffles me.

Ike should ask himself, what can he really offer Mercy outside the house? Can Ike afford her dubai trips, designers etc? No wonder why she told him that he is useless. No wonder why she also told him that he cannot win the show without her.

I dislike it too. Most ladies in Nigeria would rather watch telemundo, zee world etc. Than expand their knowledge like you stated. But not all girls. I even find it hard to discuss with guys. Cause i expect a certain level of intelligence.

Firstly, my apologies for discussing something other than nnpc recruitment here.
I recently attended a job interview based on referral (the job was not advertised). Towards the end of the interview, as usual, I was given an opportunity to ask some questions. I decided to ask that they give me an overview of the job responsibilities. That question did not go down well with one of the panelists. To him, it was an indication that I came to the interview without knowing the responsibilities of the role. Although I tried to make him see reason that since the job was not advertised, I couldn't have had the opportunity to go through the job description, he still didn't seem pleased with the explanation.
Please, I would like to have your opinions on whether my question was fundamentally wrong the way the man tried to make it look. Until that very moment, I was of the opinion that an interview is meant to be an opportunity for the interviewers to get to know the candidates better just as it is for the candidate to get to know more about the job and the organization.
Uncle Jarus and others with experience on interview coaching and recruitment should please give local man their opinion as he is presently confused.

P. S the only prior information I had with regard the interview was that they were looking for people of a particular profession say accountants, economists or mathematicians which I fit in, hence my invitation to participate in the recruitment.

I pray so.. Ekiti is small.... very small compared to other states. But we can't take away the fact that brains are not a scarce commodity in that small area.

Meanwhile the percentage of people coming from Ekiti should be higher this time if FCC should decide to go by their words. Ekiti has been underemployed by nnpc for a while and they might want to consider % rise.

It will be a good news for me because I am from the land of honor (formerly known as fountain of knowledge).

My connect is above every other connect. It's the only connect ordinary local man like me can boost of. He is the king of kings and the lord of lords. He has never failed me and he wouldnt fail me regardless of NNPC.

I have given up on advising people to stop spreading that negative thinking.

That was how my colleague's brother was ranting that DPR was not recruiting on merit, that the interview was just a formality, that he was asked the name of the senator representing his district (as if many others were not asked current affairs) blablabla.

The guy got the job eventually and could not eat his words after blackmailing DPR.

Someone I brought to Lagos - a brilliant guy but not so exposed then - that stayed with me while doing NYSC, that I was the one that shared interview tips with right in my sitting room, got NNPC job in 2012. He didn't know anybody. Although he didn't take it (on my advice too).

These are few examples of people that dont know anybody in NNPC or DPR.

Look, we can't deny that people get into these places by connection, but I have seen enough reason to believe that up to 70% is based on merit. I don't care if people don't agree but I can confidently say it anywhere. I even mentioned it in a book I wrote in 2014.

However, its just one person here, the 5th flood of alerts may happen today. Recall on wednesday when 11th were paid, there someone dat said he got paid for 4th in the evening. then yesterday it was all 4th, except for this 5th guy.

just be calm. if u are holding on to any theory to ur chest, u are just deceiving urself.

The payment is clustered and can't be paid as you said. It will be released to Mr compensation in piece meal.They are screening by field,by department,by state and by LGA. So its not a straight jacket thing.Keep hope alive and be prayerful. Pray your name is not screened and remitted to Mr compensation at any of these stages....
