i already did that, 6 days ago precisely, but till now no effective result

So I opened a first bank account, I don't know, like 3/4yrs ago maybe, it was a student account, didn't know much about account types then, I'm a student currently in school
Now the issue started like this, I was out of funds, called my dad and told him, he said he was gonna see what he could do about it, the next day, he called me and told me he has sent some money into my account, that that was all he had at the moment, I thanked, I was happy, I immediately took my ATM card and headed to the bank. I tried withdrawing the way I used to on previous occasions, but the machine kept reading INVALID TRANSACTION, I swear I tried up to 50 times thinking it was my fault or something, the people behind me were already complaining, I left the stand and every other person could withdraw without same issues
I decided to ask their customer care inside the bank, they asked me to wait and I waited for up to 2 hrs outside the bank (for my own money again oo ) then I was allowed in, I told them my problem, the guy clicked and clicked, asked for my account number and clicked again, then he told me my account had been frozen, I was shocked, I asked why and he said I opened the account as a student account and therefore the account has passed it's stipulated time of usage, I've never heard of any kind of issue like that before, that an account has an expiry date, I asked for the remedy, he told me to bring most of my documents that he needs to update the account with a token of course, I was so tired, I hadn't had anything to eat that day so I rushed to get the documents, when I came back, they said they were no longer allowing customers in( for my own money again oo)
The next day I went again and after waiting for several hours as usual, I was let in, I gave them my documents, 30mins time he told me it was done, I asked him if I could collect my money now, he said not yet that I should wait for some time, six days had passed ( it's by God's grace that I survived those days without any funds) and still the same thing, they keep telling me to wait
So my question is has any such thing happened to you before? how can I circumvent the bank and withdraw my money somehow? because I need it desperately, do they have any right to withhold my cash when I'm in desperate need of it? what action can I take next? please your advice is needed, thank you
