Since it's the school, telling them the source is "FAMILY" but since they are not your parent and are not allowed by UKVI to sponsor, they decided to deposit the funds into your account.


Even UKVI doesn't ask for 3 months, but then the school must have seen shege before deciding to go this route

You dey use Nigerians play. They probably saw that Nigerians use POF vendors to show they have sufficient funds to cover their studies and upkeep.
He don affect people wey dey genuine now.

Normally, you should have print it without showing the deposit showing. So only the balance shows like that.

My school asked for 3 months bank statement so no way to hide that.

2. If it’s for student visa, was the huge deposit on the statement when you printed it ??

1) it's for both CAS and student visa

2) My bank statement shows the deposits as the deposit is to show POF for CAS and visa.

How much is the total fee? University are dying out due to funds in UK almost all schools are sacking lecturers based on finance so only few will release back any money sent to them.

Like I said if ur school fees is between the average and u av paid 70% or let's say half then u manage and proceed. But u should look for findings either through borrowing and working etc

Tuition is not my own problem as it's sorted.

Just want to know any reason a visa could be denied. It is stated in my uni's website that they will only issue a refund if you are denied visa under some few conditions.

I have study gap of more than 5 years, is this a problem when applying for visa? During this period, I was self employed running my own sole agency.

And how much are you paying upon arriving?

If you have the complete fees or at least 70% then proceed as you have already started the move. Then when you arrive you do some training maybe in security, care, or any stuff and keep applying.


I would have loved to know the school names because some schools are understandable. They give you time to the last date of your end of program.

Honestly there is opportunity to work menial jobs and get cash once u are through with school and get ur post study visa because then u have full working right and u have knowledge of in and out of the country. How things work.


As for refund policy the school should have one and most schools refund if only visa was refused...
So let's keep praying your visa will be out.

What are some of the grounds for refusal?
My school (Staffordshire university) state that the deposit is non refundable.

It depends on you. During my time I made 1 transaction where I just deposited 10$ and I think luckily there was card maintenance fee too or Apple Music subscription, one of those during the 28day period and that was it.
The ECO understands that $ isn’t the main legal tender in Nigeria and so less expectations on a huge transaction record.

If POF is in a domiciliary dollar account, does someone have to preform transaction on it to make it active? Or it doesn't matter?
I have no reason/need to make a transaction on the account.

When we say stop coming to the UK for now, save ur self the stress. It's better using that money to open a business, expand ur business or look for anykind visa n not student visa , other cheaper countries to go.

You should also know and understand that not everyone is going to the UK to work so that they can pay their Tuition balance.
